1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Which law school are you from? Oh damn, I forgot. Bar council does not have a course on growing a thick skin :D
Barely got work. There were days without any work.
Anybody else w the same issue or did I mess up?
Due to the 240 batch size that came with your batch, do you find the competition to moot or any other activity has increased massively? Compared to what you hear from people in other law schools?
Also, are moots/extracurriculars funded in nls? (I know they are in nlud, about 50% or more sometimes but have no idea about nls), thanks in advance!
2)You're trusting numbers coming out of hamas? You're trusting narratives coming from hamas? You don't see any reason to be skeptical of that? do you want to buy this talking dog from me?
3) what territory? The territory israel gave up and retreated from? when they left gaza they exhumed their dead and took the graves with them. These people care about that miserable unhappy strip of land that has produced nothing? or perhaps you mean the wasted desert that is the west bank? The land israelis gave up to the arabs despite winning those wars to get peace? from where im standing- it seems apparent that israelis have tried to trade land for peace several times in modern history. It seems clear that neither hamas nor PLO have wanted that- explain to me why. explain why despite having control of gaza for the past 17 years theres so little development in gaza? why despite all the humanitarian aid that goes into that place do gazans not have a better governance system? why do their women not have rights? why do their children not get food and water let alone education? why do gay people get pushed off of roofs in gaza? what rights do religious minorities have in gaza?
"they just want to kill people" is a shockingly ignorant way of thinking about this terrible prolonged awful history. Get off of insta and read a book.
Please recommend good chambers I can intern with to learn about civil laws!
Would it make sense to try to intern with a designated senior?

If you are into corporate law, read up articles on Indiacorplaw, IRCCL, NLS BLR, CBCL. They have categories of blogs. Find out which category intrigues you the most and choose a topic on that category and write an article. The word limit for all these blogs is 1500 words so it won’t take up a lot of your time. The more you read and spend time on these websites, the more you will get equipped in legal writing.
Menaka is far better. Humble. Knows how to carry a point and carry it with intelligence.
JSD knows his stuff but tends to get carried away at times. He needs to rope in the right wing bit.
Hegde is good but needs to reel in a bit.
I concede that there are actual innocent girls who get gaslighted by predatory seniors but they are a minority whose case you generalize to explain the situation, which isn't the case, in reality.
1) CLAT is a shitty exam and does not select the best minds.
2) I would have got into a T1 had there been no reservation so I am better than the ones who have got in through reservation.
Note:
1. I am working in a company. They're paying peanuts. So money isn't a motivating factor. Also, I am no longer doing what was in my JD.
2. I am aware that law firm jobs can be worse but I am not looking for a comparison.
Mods kindly feature it.
Selfless love.
In our college they have to put out mails that fresher dates don't mean u actually date them so many people continue to message lewd things. When the girls reject them they are slutshamed.
Just wondering if y'all agree with this comment and how prevalent it is across NLUs? Are such cases underreported because girls are afraid or ashamed to come out? Also, what can be done to prevent it? Counselling? Disciplinary action?
2. They are still killing the people. Just check the number of people who died on both the sides over the last two months. In fact, the IDF soldiers have already killed Israeli hostages too because of their indiscriminate firing and violence, for which they have issues 'apologies'.
3. They still want the territory and most of the resources intact, they just want to kill the people.
Delhi Office, A0 level.
Would love an estimate for the banking team.
A research paper on any topic requires thorough knowledge of that particular topic along with the field it is associated with. You can’t jump to a paper without have reviewed the existing literature/principle/law associated with it.
A fresher who hasn’t started law school is most likely inept at statutory interpretation and reading. Thus, I suggest you to read and explore various areas of law. You might discover rather niche and underrated areas which you might be inclined to take up as you progress into law school.
To conclude, the tangible benefits of reading about the Law outweigh the tangible benefits of writing a whole research paper at your current stage.
Note: I personally believe there exists no tangible benefits for writing a Research Paper before joining law school.
I would say if you're preparing for Judiciary then avoid NLUs like NLS and NALSAR and go to others like RML (although it would be difficult since cutoff for RML is higher than NALSAR).
Note : I'm a 2023 graduate and a lot of my batchmates and friends are currently pursuing llm in aforementioned colleges, so I know.
2.arrange marriage with a rich guy involves very high dowry brunt and be treated like a servant doing all the housework and face abuse.
Please keep your andrew tate bs with yourself. I know many of us can connect with our housewife mom's who didn't exactly enjoy a happy life with their husband's.
If you pick the communities/channel (assuming reddit, twitter, telegram) route then you can get stuck in useless doomscrolling.

As you know, the first semester generally starts from late june or early july which means I have atleast 6 months of time with me if not more. Ofcourse I want to invest it wisely and learn a thing or two. One of them being legal writing. Idk why but it's something which intrigues me a lot. Anyway, it will be of great help if you all can share a few general tips regarding the first phase of writing a research paper/ legal journal. Be it how to choose a topic or what ideal format to follow. I know these are a vital part of my learning curve but still 💀.

With firm name, your designation.
You're a female, chill. Seek women reservation in exams and in higher education. At the same time go till PhD. Become an asst prof via reservation.
And once you're done failing everywhere, just settle for an arranged marriage with a wealthy guy. Or marry now & simultaneously keep giving exams.
Chill you're a women. And no matter what these pseudo feminist say. You will not have to bear the burden of being the bread earner for the family. It's an option for you. Not mandatory!
Since both require atleast 5 years of stay in the college vs one year of PG. If one can't stay for one year, how will they manage 5 ?
Geniune query
Can anyone tell me apps or websites that you use, which are not connected via social media, but will help me stay updated on current affairs & legal news ??
Academic excellence is another flashpoint where Indian institutes perform pathetically. People are lured to give up on their dreams and take up easy jobs (law firms etc. which have also now dwindled) to give returns to their parents on the amount spent on education. At the end, we have no great people left for academia and research. Then we cry that we have no institutions ranked in top 50, lol.
