Consider 25 going for litigation.
Then it is 11/25 for first batch.
MNLU Nagpur is humble & blessed with such number for the very placement for very first batch.
The quality of this young institute could also be determined by comparing the very first batch of other young NLUs which were started around the same time period.
No such Young NLU has even infact released stats for their first batch.
Among other NLUs & specifically Young NLUs ,perhaps MNLU Nagpur is the only inst. trying to participate in all statutory rankings & recognition process.
Most other young NLUs infact shy away from revealing place-stats of first batch but we did.
Anyways the doubt & question of Comparing NLU Nagpur itself with old biggies in the circuit itself raises credibility of Nagpur.
Eg: Neha Samant, Navodita Gupta, Nidhi Parekh & Etc
Guess neither could win the popularity contest amongst the so-called โold boys clubโ
PS - R will get a toffee if he/she publishes this comment. Just remember to look outside SEBI on a weekday for a man handing out toffees.
The campus is good, but the T&P cell has to put a lot more effort into bringing campus recruitment. This is my honest opinion.

So I'm totally interseted! How can I apply?
Just astonished that the senior partners didnt fight for the team they took with them? I am sure some internal discussion must have happened on this front as well.
Does this affect the Partners only? Or the entire team including associates?
Part of the decision? Was this an internal decision not to take salaries? or did AD make the decision for them?
On a similar note, this is like how Noojies keep saying that even NLS placements are too less but that's also because their batch size is less and lesser people from there are opting for corporate firms nowadays. Point being, NUJS is not the best, not anywhere close to it.
If you know any other hacks to ease/simplify the enrolment process, please let me know.

You can't defend them in this regard. Only trollish comments can act as burnol if it's burning there, which I understand (I'm not from MNLU Nagpur) .
And donโt talk about stats, I see plenty of comments in this thread alone about why NLUD is a better choice. I think you should ask yourself 2 questions - if you were an aspirant today, would you honestly choose NUJS over NLUD? A place with a larger batch size, local domicile, less metropolitan location and shitty infrastructure. Would you really opt for that over NLUD just for slightly better placement numbers? Atleast donโt mislead the kid into a decision heโll later regret. There are people from NUJS who drop a year for NLUD. No one at NLUD does that for NUJS.
And two, if NUJS were set up in 2008 and NLUD was older, would there even be a contest? NLUD would be miles ahead. This should put into perspective how meteoric NLUDโs rise has been despite being a decade younger and how NUJS has hardly improved since its early days.
And as far as NIRF goes, one doesnโt need to believe that to see NLUD as number 2. Most folks acknowledge it as 2 or 3 anyway and definitely prefer it over NUJS. But donโt hide the fact that weโve beaten you there for first 3-4 years where there were no โfake dataโ issues.
Canadian law schools will take anyone who has more than 60% marks and can spin a good story in the admission essay.
Scholarship is a bit tougher, the schools are in it for the money, international students pay quite a bit more than Canadians. Just say that you want to use the experience gleaned to come and teach in India. Also, try to highlight any major achievements that you have in your career which can be linked to academic excellence. Or a cocurricular which can linked with your ultimate career goal - teaching.
Extracurricular activities are easily available at Jindal not so much at nluo, although there are decent sports facilities available.
However, all these comparisons are moot if you cannot afford Jindal and have nluo as the only option.

My dog passed away 2 days later while I was working. Never got a chance to say bye for one last time. Wonโt forget and wonโt forgive.
But there is no placement there for the law department
I'm just finished my 4th year, and I'm actively looking for part-time Internship opportunities, specifically in the Labour & Employment Law Sector. Any leads on firms who provide part-time internships and where I can learn the most about the practice would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
I wont cajole you with fake assurance. Yes we are late because in India majority of the population have kids by your age. I am young litigating lawyer planning to move to better cities. With rising inflation, it is not very possible. Plus, chambers dont pay much. Maybe we can get to know each other and become friends.
If you want to talk pls mention your email in response.
And you?
Does SKDR really have any plans to improve the institution in the future or are they content with just claiming they were once second-best to NLS before NLUD displaced them there?
And looking at the NALSAR faculty page on the website, it hasn't even been updated in a long while it seems. If it weren't for the fact that their nearest rival NLUs like NUJS, NLUJ and GNLU weren't also full of administrative issues and equally unenterprising, there is definitely scope for more proactive law schools overtaking NALSAR.
So this is an excellent career option.

Most people join these think tanks for a reco to study abroad. For a long-term career option it's better to join Vidhi, CPR, ORF etc.

I would rather stan Radhika at this point. Radhika has kept away from controversies and has shown a lot of dignity.

Are there any other firms giving joining bonuses?
Over time, students of these colleges have secured these schemes on their own accord- YES there is absolutely no relation to the college, admin, recruitment committee etc.
Students apply on their own through the open application procedure.
Also, the decision was taken since some partners have billed 30% of their entire team costs for the entire year.... That is astonishing.
I dont understand the need to sprout random ass colleges in every part of the country which are not even recognizable or included in the NRIF rankings.
That is not occasional. That is rare.
People get gold medals every single year. You need to top the subject is all. And the vC medal you donโt even need to do that. People in fact get tens of gold medals when they graduate when you do have a rock star. And look - no shade to Pranav. Heโs a young scholar still making his bones and he has done okay for himself. Cambridge was a major win. But this not โexceptionalโ. It is not rock star. Iโm happy doing away with rock star altogether. But if the boys hostel clubs keep bringing the term up / they should get used to getting criticised for it.
Also, I never said that the law school doesn't matter, but that it doesn't make you. A law school provides opportunities that you take up at your own initiative and learn. In that regard, I would choose RGNUL again if I had to do it over.
Is this is the first ever conviction of an ISIS bride and/or of a perpetrator of the Yazidi genocide?
I can't spot anyone, can you? They have invited many random tech people from companies that are still pretty new and not so famous. They have also invited M Night Shyamalan, who is a terrible director with just two half-decent movies to his credit, both made over 20 years ago. So if the standard is this low then they could have easily invited Menaka Guruswamy and Arundhati Katju, especially as the US liberal media and some Democratic politicians have spoken about human rights in India. Or people like Vikram Raghavan from the World Bank, or Sudhir Krishnaswamy. In fact, no lawyer at all have been invited and none of the other TIME 100 legal honourees, like Karuna Nandy and Vrinda Grover. Not even KKV or Harish Salve or Venkatramani or Tushar Mehta got an invite!
Very sad to see random tech bros being preferred over our legal luminaries. Even Nikhil Kamath got an invite. His only claim to fame is cheating in chess to beat Vishwanathan Anand and now dating 10 years younger Manushi Chillar after divorcing his wife. He also had a โฎโฎโฎ.
