We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

In a world that still struggles with discrimination and prejudice, it's heartening to see individuals like Anand Grover and organizations like The Lawyers Collective working tirelessly to bring about positive change. Their efforts have undoubtedly paved the way for a more inclusive and accepting society.
As we celebrate this milestone in LGBTQ+ rights, it's important to remember that the fight for equality continues on many fronts. One crucial aspect is finding spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals can be fully embraced and supported. This includes LGBTQ friendly churches, communities, and even places of worship.
Let's continue to support and celebrate individuals like Anand Grover and work together to create a world where everyone can live their lives authentically and without fear of discrimination.
The lower rung of lawyers gave generally modest cars like your sub 4m hatches and sedans with the exception of a car enthusiast here or there who buy a few segments higher.
Don't treat yourself as a victim in your story.
If a person isn't interested, move on quickly and don't take on the woe is me narrative.
Invest in yourself. Join a gym, get flattering clothes, see an aesthetician and be the best version of yourself. With the right level of internal confidence people will be attracted to you. And I am not talking about just prospective husbands, but people in general.
Just don't put your life on hold because you aren't finding a partner. Try to build the best life for yourself and be whole on your own.

More than 40 companies visit NFSU for placements. Big brands like Mercedes, Bank of America, Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, Reliance, Accenture, Grant Thornton, Emirates, ICICI Lombard, S&P Global, PWC, Micron, Deloitte, ABB, E&Y, KPMG, Tata Group, Adani, and leading Software Companies participate in the NFSU placement process. To add the law school cohort into this mix (when they graduate) will be an incremental step, as the employers are already aware of NFSU. The two 5-year law programs currently offered are focused on data science and corporate forensics.

Beyond placements in the corporate, 36 students have qualified for the UGC-NET. Obviously, this means that a significant proportion of students are motivated towards research and academics.

I'm savvy with company law but I cannot seem to grasp these SEBI and FEMA concepts because there seems to be no reading material available to law practitioners in the space. Most SEBI/FEMA stuff is CA-oriented or Finance. Would help me out a lot!

There is one organization called APCR, committed for defending civil liberties. You may reach out to them.
Alternatively, you may reach out to me at queryhasnain@gmail.com, in case you are have any difficulty in reaching out to them. Would be pleased to help !
The only issue is the fees - 15 lakhs. IDK the ROI would be at par or not, considering the course has started this year only , plus its of 2 years also.
I gave the interview and am pretty confident about it, but dont know what to if i am selected. 15L is something which would't do without a loan, and i am from a middle class family., What needs to be done?
Having doubts
AZB- 1 day wfh
Of course, some teams/practice areas may be Tier 1 on their own (LV at CAM, Aswath at AZB), despite the above list.
seen a big lawyer saving a criminal by using the law to his side and with shady dealings to remove evidence, though he committed the atrocities.
using the word of law, a question for ourselves to answer, whether it has a substance or just a form?
Super proud of project 39A. Nlu Delhi helped NLS grad to get a Irfan acquitted. You can find the whole issue in NLU Delhi LinkedIn page as well. Ciao!
Waise bhi aajkal clat peh nusrl ko koi choose nehi karte. People till a good half of 1-2nd year retake clat. Can’t blame them.
But for what it’s worth - do check out this thread

We don't have the social capital to back up such bravado from childhood. So it's harder to speak up.
Got bullied in the playground? Your parents may not be able to help coz they themselves might get bullied.. you grow up with that conditioning. But rest assured, times are changing these perpetrators will be found and punished. Today or tomorrow or day after.
Maybe you’re thinking of some other firm.
Hello, aap law firm mei hain kya ?
Bataiye koi tips please, aap partner hain kya kisi law firm mein ?
However some other nlus share a lot more toxic info plus disrespect personal names (even their alumni). Where is the heads up then? Here we are not even naming anyone , just calling out some hatred and some batch toppers (who are literally teacher’s pets) who do impede the positivity. Yet , we have criticised the MCC as well because there was fault. What more balance do you want us to put when other NLUs put random bs.
We are a tier3/4 nlu. At least give us some space to share our grievances. How else we will improve then?

Some valuable resources that can help you chalk out your publication journey to a good extent. All the best!
I understand that MBA is an option but I realise that if I already pivot to consulting or IB before MBA, it will help my chances with admissions (I am targetting M7 schools) plus would help me make better choices for MBA career outcomes.
So they seem to be paying basis your last drawn salary and have a band system. Not sure of the details.
I will still highly recommend the NUSRL students to not further this discussion just for the sake of criticising your batchmates where the same can be done in your college WhatsApp groups/personal groups.Keep it civil. Don’t share personal information as well or we will be forced to close this thread :)
We are taking each and every step to make sure that LI remains a relevant and healthy platform where people can discuss several updates and point out grievances. Any thread spreading misinformation or hatred will be strictly prohibited.
Kian is working extremely hard to maintain decorum in this website. Kindly acknowledge our request ❤️
Best wishes to any candidate aiming for it!
Step 1: Avoid Gen Corp
Step 2: Avoid Capital Markets
Step 3: Make sure you have avoided step 1 and 2
Step 4: Choose any practice area left
And I know exactly which batch topper you are talking about. I wont mention the name (because I don’t want my post to get contested) but he/she/they from both the sections are like that only. Just because recently one of them (not even the primary stakeholder tho) won a decent moot doesn’t make them heroes or anything. Some people didn’t participate and some good people who did didn’t deserve their bad rank tbh. But I agree with some of your points as I mentioned above. Just sail through - do admit the glitches MCC made this year because that’s quite evident but confront those ‘batch toppers’ face to face if he/she exceeds their toxic standards of jealousy.
Tara Narula also does lots of UAPA cases, young and dynamic lady, Luthra's former junior.
Thanks Guys.
While I am interested to intern in the CM team, could someone tell me which team is more eager to offer extensions, call backs and ppos.
