Yes they're revising it upwards but are not looking to match Trilegal pay.
Yes, of course - they will hire A0s to replace Manan and Avik
LMAO. Worked there many many moons ago. Uhm, the canteen on the top floor has nice idlis. That's about the only positive.
I have a few that I like. My general daily use is CK Defy or Boss Man EDT.

For special days I have Bulgari Man Wood and Bulgari Home Pour

For vacations/date nights I like Sauvage and Aqua di Agio.

All are fairly attainable.
This was the band revision they announced in newspapers? Looks like our bonus money is going to the PR department only. Trash increment, trash bonus as always
Check bar and bench, they have increased their bands. CAM is walking around like a white elephant in the market. Unbothered by the noise and things that are being spoken about them in the market.
Amazing talent and too cute! The role model that Gen Z needs! 🫶
You are absolutely right and fucc anybody who says dont compare to Bollywood etc. Keep comparing and keep shaming people who idolize Bollywood ‘stars’ and shallow influencers etc.
Pls help as to what all I need to do in order to become employable at a law firm after 2 years?
I wear dressberry. It's cheap but I don't think anyone around me cares
if she were a man there wouldn't be any downvotes, misogyny is filled with these new gen LI fat losers
I know someone from a Tier 3/4 NLU who did a baking course and became a full time baker after law school. So, why not
She cited the Gita as her inspiration and referred to advice that Krishna gave Arjuna. 🙏
People getting 30% of their bonus entitlement as bonus is a sick joke that JSA should stop playing.
Avoid going there, they are known for leaving interns out to dry after the conclusion of their internship. I know a lot of people who were promised either callback and ppo but haven't got any response after the conclusion of their internship.
I guess the firms can see that most of the candidates have CGPA in 4s and 3s when they get the apps?
Seems too low - although, 60 crores also sounds absurd for an ECM practice. Anyone knows the real number? Given the size, the number should be at least 40-45 crores to make sense.
Would they consider PPOs for disputes? I believe they are starting a litigation practice with a partner from Saraf.
how tough is the PPO interview for the disputes team at Trilegal?
Any update on the place under Harry and Niti? Seems to have settled down - views/insider news?
What even is the difference between boutique and full service firms
Its official. A0 is now 18 lpa as confirmed by Bar and Bench.
Can confirm that they has made 19 offers at NLS however 7 chose to either join other firms or go for LLMs abroad, but still props to GNLU anyway
I can speak for HNLU, our 2026 batch so far has only recieved 16 offers (10 PPOs and 6 Day Zero recruits). The firms include, AZB, SnR, Majumdar, CAM, Khaitan, LKS, etc.
then there's something fishy, you should have a talk with your mentor, to confirm on whether they'll be hiring you
Let’s make LI useful. May I request LI fam to kindly plug in stamp duty schedules for all states. Let’s make this one stop solution for stamp duty.

Eg. Delhi - General agreements - Article 5 - 500 and so on
why? would'nt they hire more ppl now since so many have left
Hello, I'm looking for a good place to intern. Please suggest some advocates that take in 2nd years. (is paid internship a myth?)

Please suggest.
man this sucks cause i've asked them since november to give me a physical slot for june-july... these unaccommodating HR people just refused to give me a slot for my internship break. now i'm stuck with an online one during the semester. fuck this firm.
Last i heard from a friend working there was interns get a stipend of 10K, trainee 15 K, A0- 25-30K, A1- 35-40K and A3- 55K (the friend). Plus there is food and travel reimbursements
Wear whatever you want. But make sure when you go home, to take a long shower to wash off corporate toxicity!
I remember the time when Luthra used to compete with undivided AMSS and the likes of trilegal, jsa, kco and azb were not even in the same league.
Nothing like that, they liked ur performance that's why giving you callback
I think people forget the fact that NUALS, Kochi was the first law school to implement a menstrual leave policy
If you are aware of the recent exits, you should avoid going to this dying firm.
Nautica Voyage and YSL Y EDP currently, planning on getting Versace Eros soon it smells so good
Is it true? Heard many tier 2 and 3 Nlus( those below Odisha) have cancelled day Zero?

I know two unis personally that have pushed day Zero to December and January.

Is the job market really that bad?
What’s the fuss about? Low margin practice area, always playing second fiddle to banks, and a role limited to fact checking a bulky offer document that no investor ever reads.

Well paid ‘lawyers’ though :)
It would be great if you could answer it based on hiring. Have seen Delhi preferring lateral hires over PPOs? Is it true?
Absolutely. Why would Avik/ Manan/ Manish feel embarrassed if a prospective client asks them who Haigreve/ Cyril/ Shardul are :)
You don't need to worry. Lala firms are lala firms and their reviews don't matter much in the market
MANAN LAHOTY, 9 Junior Partners and 50 associates are jumping to CAM.

What has CAM offered them. More than Indus pays? How can CAM afford what Indus cannot?
Don't know about him, but it's onwards and upwards for the firm - they have just scooped a heavy hitter from Indus!
Is Tempus Law worth joining? What's the pay, environment, growth, etc?
Yes, it is a stable Tier 1. It has historically been a great institution. However if you look at recent trends, I suggest you pick GNLU and NLUJ over NLIU, if you get an option to. You still cannnot go wrong with NLIU. It is a great college
As per my experience, the HR will inform you they will try to accommodate you in another team. Which seems less considering most of their profitable teams left. You might have to write to Manan yourself for a CAM Assessment. All the best.
Yes. Ram is the only rain maker here. He can move anywhere. More importantly he is a damn nice person to work with.

Don’t know why he takes shitHope he understands his potential..
Not OP, but nobody in Finsec gets 9 lakh. Quit bullshitting. Finsec has a very high pay for a boutique firm. Also, bonus in Finsec is mostly profit equally divided - it is not variable, and is a guaranteed amount for everyone, depending on how the firm performs that year.
It's a solid tier 1 in that you'll be placed at a tier 1 or tier 2 firm if you are top third of your batch. Post that you'll have other options but you'll need to study. If you've been consistent 5 years you won't be jobless.
How does it work? How many days and is it self declared or medical certificate required?
Not the OP but bro my other batchmates got a PPO directly from the same team and I was called for a callback assessment?
How are the placements? Is it still a stable tier-1? Is magic circle a possibility at nliu? Kindly help out with genuine opinions.
I think they do, recently the BLR office has taken trainees
its sad that this wasnt addressed by the team. You had every right to know what happens to your PPO beforehand.
Enough threads on LI. Depends which team you’re joining. Please google and check. Will be good practice if you’re joining that team as you’ll have to figure things out on your own if you work there.
You guys ain't good at building rapport. Just enjoying the fruits of what previous alumni have done.
They should start with the 5 years then. All the responses from the LLBs have been pretty dignified and balanced.
Can confirm that the management is contemplating an increase in the pay band
Bas ab kuch bacha nahi bolne ke liye toh resort to name calling. Verbal salad lol. Tune toh bahut cogent baate likhi thi na?
Yes he was.. but the thing is Luthra was very different back then.. it was the most flamboyant firm in India.. Luthra gave best lawyers to the corporate world..but the current Luthra under HC is some Tier 7 bs firm
Itna toh padega hi nai koi. HR takes applications you feel they give two rats about Google case
Trilegal competition team did not have PPO as such from what I know. They had stopped offering some time back knowing what might happen
My man Manan. Asking Firms to either change their culture or destroying them if they don't. From what I hear, he's fostered a good culture in his team. Let's see how CAM suits him.

Unrelated question, was ML a Luthra homegrown?
The HR told me that one assessment internship is over, they will give a callback if performance is good. On the basis of the callback they'll offer ppo
Lahoty's team of avengers eat Yash, Bhakta, Sandip, Arka, Prashant for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner
C&M has ably represented Google in numerous matters. When applying, be sure to mention in your covering letter that their impressive performance and handling of Google competition cases prompted you to apply there.
Not opposite, that would make Luthra second easiest, which is simply not true. CAM is easiest, provided you have the rank and tag.
