There is no question of 'IF'. As a state university, NALSAR has to comply with the state's policies and rules. It is as simple as that. All NLUs have to, in their respective states.
This is what happens when the existing guys are not paid their dues and a totally unknown person is brought into the scheme of things without any prior expertise
Becoming a teacher/ professor would be a long-term commitment. Becoming 'recognized' will take you time,
NUJS currently offers a 2-year LLM programme on data science and law, where non-law people from science background also come to teach.
Or someone didn’t get promoted or good bonus. Or someone as an internal competitor. Problem with such platforms is that anyone can write anything.
I think they must be going through a serious crunch to do this. I'm sure they were aware about the advertisement laws, they did it despite that to get publicity. Which they will, even if the ad gets taken down right away because it's in the news cycle now!
That's not factually correct, probably less than 10% of the counsels even touch that. The number is inflated PR
I have an upcoming internship at IndusLaw I have not been assigned a team yet but can someone help me with how the Dispute Resolution team is??
Nice, these factors are generally not considered. You can check Bharat Chugh, who has a law firm now after being a judge. Similarly, there's Judge Vasant who, after his retirement, took up practice in Supreme Court.
What is with misleading people by giving wrong titles? Where is it written that GOI is doing because it has left bias?

Pretty sure it caught government's attention because of the abuses it has been hurling over X
Don't move, stay at Jaipur. Delhi is not the place to be, it is over saturated now. In my view, you have better prospects in your parent court than at Delhi.
The said person was preparing for upsc. Know two more friends friends who did the same after failed upsc attempts

Just be honest about why you want to do an mba, take help of coachings. But all this comes later, first crack that percentile
DSK Legal- BCI Stern Show Cause Notice- Curious how a firm so well known in Media Laws could sanction these ads without thinking through. What are the new Do's and Don'ts- Is deal closure posting also banned now?
Sorry but I not personally familiar with them. You may consider going through their recent publications to see if they are a right fit for your research interests.
Because life is all about exploration and our youth is that one time when some of us can try to discover more than what we will ever know.
Is there a collective protest going on right now at the university?
India is too populous to give us all that luxury. The β€œeasiest” exam is really the one for which you can actually put yourself through the grind. Rest is luck and there is nothing one can do about that. The capacity to put in effort day after day is all we have.
You won't know until you tried it. See if you can make both work for a couple of months. Then decide.
The starting pay for disputes is also same but they won't increase it as much as compared to your peers in other teams

Don't think starting pay in ip can be same ever
Be your own employee. I mean can't you show yourself as self-employed, an independent practitioner? It is not as insincere as it sounds.
JSA gives monthly mobile phone + wifi bills

Plus one time handset cost every two years
Iqbal is going to be on the committee next time and is going to be the JMP next to next time

Likh kar le lo
It's not impossible but very difficult unless you secure a long-term internship with this firm. DU provides no placements so essentially you're on your own. Try to secure a call-back and work your ass off!
Going to be the most sought after b&f team in India. I'm guessing the combined b&f team with Karan Mitroo onboarded would easily be doing a book of 75 crore plus yearly?
Typo hai bhai. February 2025 ka post mein koi November 2024 ko leke query kyu likhega? Ye to understood hona chahiye na mr. obvious?
I am a student who has done his basic corporate law courses in law school. I am looking for any resource which would help me get a solid grasp over the basic framework of securities law. Anything more advanced is welcome as well.
With all due respect, why recommend such potboilers when there is already a brilliant film like Court available?
Could you please expand on the said person's story? I'm curious as to what he did in these 4 years and how he answered the interview questions.
I thought Europe is a much better alternative than going to a godforsaken part of the world like NZ. And Canada is no longer welcoming and besides, it was always an exploitative place for foreign students.
How competitive are the students there? The answer to that will give you a good measure of the worth of the place.
What content are you looking for in the book? That would help us recommend best
But mohit is not able to handle is own firm as well these days. Saraf too is on a down hill. Luthra was one of the finest firms till 2018-19. Then departures started and 2025 is literally an end of the legacy that Luthra had!
What are some employee benefits one gets at T1 firms in India?
Bonus disbursed is way lesser than the promised bonus / as per the firm policy. Making profits on junior's labor is the firm's way to be profitable...
Gowree, Vaibhav and Huzefa are still with the firm, so the practice is same as has always been.
BJP (and it's related organisations in the Sangh Parivar) have been trying to suggest for quite some time that 200 million citizens of this country should be disenframchised. That is way worse than secession of a small piece of territory.
Try reading some good autobiographies of lawyers

/judges:

Roses in December (Justice HR Khanna)

Before Memory Fades (Fali Nariman)

On Balance (Leila Seth)
I would say not join Saraf as one of the disputes partner left to CAM, two of were left behind and not taken. Its a bad state to be working in.
2 cambridge, 1 nus, 1 bcl, 1 ucla, 1 ucb, 1 umich at nls (total admits, some for the same ppl)
Law school applications are at record highs in the US

Lol, pls don't make claims about things you don't understand. AI will only boost your productivity.
If you are seriously asking this question then congrats, you are frontrunner to win the most innocent question award on LI :)
I think du students can spend more on weed also due to low fees, it ultimately gives rise to such delusional beliefs.
Yeah they have three partners and 2-3 (iykyk) associates, I have never understood how is a brother - sister allowed to work in the same team. One as a partner and the other as an associate leading to clear partiality shouldn’t there be a policy for the same ? Felt weird.
do you mind telling the full form of GTCR? Which reporter is this?
Sad state of affairs in litigation, OP. All the best, you will be in a better place sure.
Word on the block is that RM was all set to become JMP but over the years soured relations with bigger, wealthier folks and got shunted to a corner
Not struggling to place. It is placing it's students fine. Better than almost all T2 NLUs
M&A Consultancy is giving advise on Murders and Accusations. Law firms are best at it. No one better then them.
In 4 T1 firms, 20% of recruits every year are nepo kids. In 3 T1 firms, it’s between 80 to 100%.
They've come to GNLU for the BO25. Picked three people, 2 as law officers and 1 as law officer - HR legal. Similar payscale.

Why is a PSU going for campus recruitment like this?
How is HW as person and how is working with him in terms of work, pressure and toxicity
Hello, I know it's off the topic but could you please tell me how did you apply?
Anything would be a better option than Luthra/Atlas considering the recent departures from Luthra
If this is true. This will be last of Luthra and only rebranded (Atlas) is the firm!
You may try WG. At A3/SA levels, work life balance would be better than what you’re describing. It’s the juniors who’s wlb seems to be gone (but seems fine for seniors). Additionally, I’ve heard they match t1 salary in a couple of years.
Is it necessary to be a call back intern for getting a PPO at Saraf? How much do they offer DU students as A0?
I am from DU, currently interning at a Tier-1 came through a reference but I don't have any fancy internships before this of Tier-1 or 2 but learnt fair amount of work. The team I am working in does have vacancies.

What are the chances of a DU student getting a PPO?
anyone practicing in AP high court on here? what is the remuneration scene like, how much are the seniors willing to pay depending upon work ex, law school and etc.
same! best of internships - good feedback always , high CGPA, publications everything. no offer and graduating in 2 months.
she is now speaking for palestine, which obviously won't get her place in the headlines of western media
I am from jaipur currently practice in district and session court and High court I want move Delhi so please suggest and how find for job for survival
What is the work culture at AP&Partners, delhi like? What is the amount of work do they expect from interns and what is the approximate stipend they give, if any?
Anyone who attends ? What's your review and opinions about the university?
Which NLUs are providing an LLM in data protection and data privacy !?
Finally some star performers in the JSA banking who will make the team shine like Deena, Kanan and Ashit
I think it’s pretty clear now which team to avoid in case you still want to consider the ATU camp. Unless, after such clear feedback, the seniors at the β€œteam to be avoided” have come out of their bubble, changed their attitude and made amends.
Work culture is worse.

They will only ask you to make ppt in the name of legal internship.
I believe Sudhir also thinks the same. Thus, the humanities and MPP courses.
Please give me some suggestions i am first generation lawyear from jaipur. If I move Delhi how much I earn per months
Not every few months. There are four weeks of classes distributed over the first six months. And if money is an issue, then you can always catch a train instead of a flight.
Three years practice is a weird requirement. Not enough to actually gain any useful experience, specially of you practice in High Courts.
