On a side note, one of my classmates dropped out of NLS during the 2nd trimester who always had a storybook with her. I had very little interaction with her but what I have gathered was that she preferred reading to watching movies etc. She was one of the absolute toppers of CLAT as well.
NLS is a crazy place, u can be the AIR 1 and fail (this is true and u will get to know it once you step into the college) while you may have had a rank in 1k+ and still be the batch topper (There are numerous examples of this sort).
I am not sure about what else is going on with your batch but this wasn't a cringey example, not everyone likes to read fiction and will prefer to watch a movie or a TV show. However, I do agree that your batch is somewhat mad with 1000s of internships, paper publications, and stupid LinkedIn posts which don't make sense but that can be attributed to the fact that u guys have got so much time to celebrate the CLAT success. Other batches usually get a month's time when the world is rosy af, u feel like u have conquered the world until the reality of law school hits and u realize that u r just one among the many in this rat race. Any batch would have probably done what u guys are doing if they had got 6months of this rosy phase.
LI report on Jindal grad:

Regardless of what you people write, the fact remains that NLUD is still one of the best. Itโs the only college without some local domicile quota unlike NLS, NALSAR and NUJS. Itโs located in the capital and set up by the NCT of Delhi, which is not some ordinary state like the others. Itโs the only college capable of sustaining itself separated from CLAT, besides NLS. So itโs in a league of its own.
And weโve ranked high in NIRF even when placements werenโt as high so claiming that your cheap NLU would be 2nd or 3rd if not for NLUD is just wishful and desperate. If anything, it was from SKDโs time that salary figures got inflated, but be assured weโd still be 2nd even with 16 lacs p.a.
I know that you guys would love to โpiggybackโ on one inaccurate data set to claim that everything else is false in the hope that some CLAT aspirant reads this and chooses a shit place like NUJS/Nalsar over NLUD, but like I said youโre too stupid to actually get proper data on the table to argue.
Instead, let me ask you some practical questions which wouldn't have been taught to you in your CS textbooks or prep material.
Q1. What is the reasoning behind adding the phrase "based on the standalone or consolidated financial statements of the company, whichever sets out a lower amount." to regulation 4(i) of the buy-back regulations?
Q2. In the explanation to regulation 4(i), the phrase "based on the standalone or consolidated financial statements of the company, whichever sets out a lower amount." is absent. Would it mean that when computing the maximum limit for equity shares, I can disregard the said phrase?
Q3. If you would refer the footnotes to the phrase " based on the standalone or consolidated financial statements of the company, whichever sets out a lower amount.", it states that the amendment is w.e.f 9th March 2023. But what about cases where a buy back has already been made public before this date? In such a case will the proviso to regulation 4(iv)(b) be applicable?
I am sure that 100% of company secretaries wouldn't even get close to answering these questions satisfactorily.
1. Just why would the Mumbai police want to frame Jigna Vora?
2. Is the Mumbai Police protecting Dawood or Rajan or both?
Also, who is the lawyer shown defending Jagruti based on? Satish Manshinde?
Placement scene?
From my understanding, having a science background is necessary for those who are involved in a technical role like patent analysts who perform Prior art/ invalidity searches etc.
I have a good command over patent specification drafting and am well versed with the Patents Act and international practice. Is that enough to make a career in Patents?
Please tell how joining a litigation chambers is different from joining litigation in a firm like say Bharucha or LKS?
dating creepy older guys?? as if it has not been committed by younger guys, that's an offensive categorization without any evidence of anything in correlation.
also, this societal change we're going through, we are going through a change where dating preferences. also, this modern thinking is still in its early stage in Indian society, plus crime cannot be stopped but can be monitored and reduced.
few steps need to be taken.
1. Young people need to be more open about their dating and share with family.
2. families need to be more open to the idea of dating as most young ones make it a hidden affair
I want to ask those people , especially those NLS fans - Why did you tell us law school will be intellectually stimulating and interesting when these intros are totally radiating a different vibe. That other day while watching an interview I found this person from NLS stating that she doesnโt even read books and apparently TV shows are more โhelpfulโโฆโฆโฆ.
Please tell me that these are the ones who fail at nls. Else I donโt think I can survive with them.
Also, which international moot has CNLU won till date?
The BCD and HCBA do not understand the rules and are ignorant of the clear cut restriction on litigation being done by these foreign law firms. They are just jumping up and down for no reason. Unka roz ka dhanda safe rakhha hai Manan Chachu ne!!
Am hearing good things about NLSโ26. Might be them
NLUD is better suited to be compared with GNLU or HNLU, as only those CLAT students who could have got into GNLU and HNLU seriously think of going to NLUD
If you are in your first year, give CLAT and get out of the #FAKELUD
Jodhpur and Bhopal are better than #FAKELUD
How is Personal Interview?
I really feel sorry about these Tier 4 kids who have no idea about how hard the real world is going to bite them
NLUD is not in the top 5 unis in the contemplation of any law aspirant
And what I have heard from him is that this advantage is more pronounced abroad. The M7 MBA especially Booth has proxies relating to connection forming PE and Gen Corp. Sadly he couldnโt make it into the M7 due to his low gmat score and several other factors in the application.
Also to someone who says Bsc graduates are poor - โIISC proves otherwiseโ
That being said , you definitely can improve if you straighten your approach. Focus on mock analysis , donโt mug up gk rather focus on newspaper reading and revise the legal basics. Clat has become unpredictable. And so your prep should be solid.
Despite explicity mentioning this, majority of the comments are those from nlus or jgls!

If you can read, please have a look at the third table top row https://www.nirfindia.org/nirfpdfcdn/2023/pdf/Law/IR-L-U-0111.pdf you will find the discrepancy.
NLUD will put some prof. who had taken one session as a contractual employee and piggyback on their research laurels. Thus inflate its research output.
It is a well known fact in the NLU ecosystem that NLUD lies each year on NIRF Graduate salary, the question is how long would this lie last and hopefully only stupid students, who do no homework, would fall for it.
The problem with the research fund is also funny, the uni has got 2 year grant of 8.4 lakhs total, so ideally it should be counted 4.2 lakhs per year for NIRF, but you will find they have counted 8.4 lakhs for each of the two years.
what more proof do you need? hope you will believe that you have joined a uni where the authorities lie on government documents, hope you will not do so in the future
