Quit cold turkey- The first three days are super agony. The First week is agony. Then its a daily fight till the first month and then it gets better.
Trust me it is the BEST gift that you can ever give yourself.
2) Delhi has a small team and every decision for callbacks is taken by the Mumbai office, so think it through and try to get your slot shifted to Mumbai.
3) They prefer candidates who have prior experience in ECM work and accordingly allot work.
4) Everything will depend on how much your mentor pushes for your callback, so stay in very good terms with him/her.
5) Hiring might not be active until late 2025 due to the 2023 overhiring across offices in ECM.
Thanks and all the best!
If you have the chance, then its more prudent to get your internship shifted to the Mumbai office for better chances of bagging callbacks; 3 people b/w June, 2023 to November, 2023 slots have been able to bag callbacks in the Mumbai office provided they were in cordial touch with their internship mentor (who has the final call with regards to the callback recommendation).
Hope this gives you an idea, best of luck!
Also I would be in the fourth year by May won't I ?
Is more work required for a callback? Like I know someone at Trilegal has to only get feedback from two associates for a callback. How is it in Indus?
Alumni to the rescue. XD
No one cares.

Yes, all of these cities always have "things to do", but you have family, work, and other things to deal with, and staying back to visit the MOMA or Burj is the last thing on your mind on Trip 4.

I wish you the very best. The market could get better after the elections. Apply to tier 2 firms by then.
I am a fresh law graduate, neither from a tier 1 college nor practicing in any tier 1 firm. But I saw you posted this query 2 years back. How is it going with you today? Is it any better ?
didn't prepared for it till the last day.
cleared pre exam easily, failed in mains due to Securities Act(Not interested in studying LODR etc.).
Bakki sab first class hai aram se de exam course wagera mat liyo, but prepare honestly. Given 1 hour daily ho jayega promise.

Chennai: Cheaper and better vfm. Lot less traffic.
So if you intern in jan make sure to build rapport with your team and go for an extension
Pity your souls.
Preferably try to have a Plan B for yourself though, so that you feel more confident.

His father was a judge of the HC and FIL was CJI. His practice did grow because of that. But So if his practice grew because of that, it isn't his fault. (To his credit his practice has grown even more after the untimely death of his father and the retirement of his FIL.)
And yes he unquestionably has learnt from them. He conducts himself like he is a boss! I think tht upbringing in a legal family and being a married into one both means that one moves in a certain circle but that can't be held against. He has learnt from them how to conduct himself.
Do PPOβs depend on it?
Why are you licking nepos?

I was given the internship for the period I was committed to and didn't have to beg , plead or convince anyone
Mine is Esse Lights.
Being dependant on placements is not the best strategy in this college. Hasnβt stopped the good students from starting off their careers in T-1s and T-2s through PPOs though.
Haa EY aayega 6-7 bacche le jaayega for 70k a month. (Mostly women)
Groping and harassment are definitely worse. But they don't make you lose your job, wealth or connections. Moreover the woman are the real victims here, whereas in a false case they pretend to be one.
OP I believe it's better to try at NALSAR or NUJS. Don't worry. Law is long career. You will fail more and you will succeed eventually.
In terms of quality of life, different people have different preferences - but I will say that it is easier to get by with English in Bangalore as compared to Chennai.
You'll be emailed curriculum with calendar for each sem just before the sem begins.
- like your own post - comment your own post - blame other nlusβs, insecurity (specially for NUJS and GNLU) -
I have 5 years age relaxation....am i eligible for ugc net jrf
See para 7. Was a genuine q of this is the same Anirudh Wadhwa we are talking about or a different person.
Interestingly, I wasn't able to find any record of students getting said opportunities anywhere online.
Disclaimer: Not a student of NLUJ (yet?)
Can any student please verify the aforementioned collaborations and whether they've led to any tangible exchange opportunities for the students @ NLUJ? Help me out !
Also: NLUJ hasn't posted their general curriculum, course structure, academic calendar, or anything of that sort online whereas most other NLUs have provided this online :(
I am a final-year student from a tier 2 National Law University. I shall be interning with the Trilegal Gurgaon General Corporate team in January. Since I am in my final year I am really anxious to know if they have any space left for AOs. It would be very helpful if a senior working there could share some insights on the hiring for Batch of 2024.
