Hi! I have no idea what the dark, light side thing mean, but would like to volunteer for moderating (i have 40 minutes of i spend commuting to my job, daily)! I was told the process is a lot more complex than this lol.
Law Firm partner take. Leave it at these people to have the shittiest opinion on anything and everything in the world, even things they have the slightest idea of. Your doctor is not going to utilise his memorized foreign language words when he saves your dying mother.
Agree. I visit here often, and there were no new posts for around 48 hours. What does it take to be a mod? I can contribute, and surely many others can. More moderators are required.
Don't listen to this person, exactly opposite of what they said happens in real life.

You are going to feel like everyone's better than you, some are going to be objectively better then you, and there will be a clear dichotomy between amazing and mediocre students as college begins. By the time you reach 2 year, a lot of things will be set in stone. Be afraid, and put your all in from day 1 if you want to shine.
I don't care. I'm happy, I love my family and they love me back, the weather's cozy and snuggly, i drive at night blasting music, shits fun and nature is beautiful. Get out of your head and look around. Surely, life HAS to be more than what the tiny legal circle comprising of 50000 odd people has made you think it is. Who cares someone makes like a lakh or two more than me man. I'm content. And yes, i was like this when I was in college and people where getting t1 internships when I wasn't, when I was making peanuts and my batchmates where printing cash, and now when I'm "rich" by its general definition. You really need to change your outlook on life if your friends earning more than you makes you find ways to "cope" with it.
Do productive stuff that helps your career and professional life: 2 downvotes.

Fuck around, putting your tool wherever it can fit: 7 upvotes.
You'd have had to kill my family and chop my limbs off to NOT make me sell back when it was at 64k. You've got some ungoldy holding skills if that's true.
Not availing reservation when you can would arguably be one of the stupidest things one can do while trying to get into a college.
Speaking from experience, International moots, only a few are worth your time. Jessup is definitely up there. Prestigious national moots on the other hand really amp your CV up in the subject they were in. Performing well in Palkhivala (Tax Law), Surana (Corp), KK Luthra etc. would really help you while applying in their respective areas of work. I don't think recruiters care much about your performance in some random Space Law, Aviation Law or maybe Media law moot.
Wait what? wdym "leave after 2 years" and get retirement benefits? Isn't there a certain time period one has to serve to claim pension etc.?
Nothing. Know a senior who was told to flunk his interview to give other students a chance, and still got selected lol.
Him being Right Wing. RSS Linked, or whatever, in no way makes his appointment worth any criticism. He's not a criminal, he's just someone with views different than yours. Or views you consider to be criminal.

It's a law college, a place meant for entirely opposite ideas to engage, a place meant for discourse - Not a circlejerk.
