HOW HARD IS IT TO GET INTERNSHIP AT TIER 1 FIRMS FROM THESE COLLEGES. KINDLY GUIDE ME
I am a law graduate from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. I slogged in law college and think I have a decent CV (3-4 Tier 1 internships, top of the batch, etc.) but am unable to secure a job at a decent law firm. I am interested in Securities Market but am unsure about the organization. Would be quite grateful if anybody could shed light on working at SEBI legal.
Also, how would one compare it to Army (JAG)? I was shortlisted for it but couldn't make it in the end. Probably have a better chance of clearing it next year.

Like work remotely while traveling ?
I'm looking for some advice on which location I should choose. I want to work in international arbitration and am pretty confused about which office would be a better fit for me. While I do know that the Mumbai office has a great international arbitration team, the Delhi office seems to edge above by virtue of the partners who head the Disputes and Arbitration teams there. So in the context of a. quality of work, b. being more positive about call-backs and PPOs, and c. growth prospects, which location would be a better fit?
Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you :)
For India specifically:Commentary- SM Dugar
Reference book- Abir Roy (a bit outdated though)
Getting in through contacts is contra productive for I banks/ VC Funds, because carry interests are given to the analysts and the work is not actually clerical/ but very client front end. The Associates' work at a Law firm can easily be done by even a law student, as is evident from the internships. On the contrary, Finance summer internships are solely based for assessment and not the unpaid labour fraud law firms do.
Milind Sathe. No legal connections at all, born and brought up in a small town (Chiplun) in rural Maharashtra. Amongst the best and most successful in Bombay HC in writ work (and doesn't like being in the limelight too much - though has big clients).
I am a new law aspirant. I have a few queries.
See, I can do Part-A questions with the materials available online as they involve Reading Comprehension, Current Affairs, and Critical Reasoning questions.
However, I am not really clear on how can I go about Part B as it involves Descriptive writing on Legal Reasoning and Analytical Essay.
Guys, I need suggestions about resources for Part B as I can't afford coaching.
Please give your suggestions.
Former aspirants opinions are most welcome.
Thank You

Better to go on vacation.
When and how do we get them to step down?
Given how much we pay to study at these NLUs the least we deserve are profs who did not engage in blatant plagiarism
The question was somewhat like 'Which field of education are NALSAR and NLUs famous for in teaching?', answer obviously being law and the host went on to praise NALSAR as a famous college and what was surprising was the contestant also knew about national law universities. Times are changing for sure and we all should be proud.

Asking because we are not strictly employees of the firm, and the BH series number plates can be availed only by employees.
Your general rent will range from 30-45k per month, depending on where you take a place. A room in Lodha or Crescent Bay will cost you around 40-45k whereas if you take it in an old building, it can range from 30-40k.
Now coming to the areas where you should take a place. Avoid places from where you can't take a train/direct transportation. I moved and stayed in Parel initially and got a cheap 1BHK only to realize that I am paying much more to travel to and fro from the office. Decided to move to a place on the Western line and while my rent has increased by 5k, I save a lot by taking the train to work (literally costs 5 bucks). Would suggest that you look for places either in Matunga/Dadar West or Mahim West. Bandra/Khar are more expensive areas but many people live in Santacruz and take the AC local to work. Any place is the Western Line is also easier for you to commute to other places like bars and restaurants so you save more on Uber.

Jones and Sufrin: EU Competition Law
IPMAT is an IIMR-conducted test. You ignore it. One wonders why.
I am wondering, aren't law students/lawyers taught to support their views with data?
But it’s also not a uniquely Indian problem. Colorism is a huge deal in Muslim, Arab and East Asian societies. Even in the West. So many black actresses and singers lighten their skin. Even look at Meghan Markle. She says she’s woke, but look at her before s d after photos. Straightened her hair and sharpened her nose to look less African.
Is it less exposure? Or something else?
I have three questions:
1. AFAIK per SC rulings the Home Secretary of a state has to approve requests for call records. What happened here? Is the SC ruling generally treated as a joke?
2. In Mahua’s reply, she accuses Modi of being a snooper but doesn’t address the allegations against her. How come?
3. If it’s so easy to get call records, maybe we should all be using WhatsApp?
The placements are OK , from what I got to know.
Can you shed some light on this?
LLBs are the products, LLMs are the by-products, and Ph. Ds are the waste products.
That sums up the research culture at the state NLUs.
It is also on record that even in NSE Colocation scam SAT observed that SEBI botched investigation and internal enquiry on officers involved should take place.
That being said there are auditors and lawyers (some being ex-SEBI officers) who know who can be managed and yes they manage them. Not every SEBI officer is corrupt but a lot of them in investigation department and enforcement department have discretion to interpret facts and some are more than happy to direct it in a manner that helps the parties being investigated.
In general, fertility starts to decline for men when they’re in their late 40s, with up to a 23% annual decline in fertility beginning at age 39[1]. One study suggested that conceiving during a 12-month period was 30% less likely for men who were over the age of 40 compared to men who were under 30 years old[
Anything regarding this is helpful.
