1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Or to be more specific, how much does a fresher of each department earn ? Can anyone list out the department and the resepctive fresher salary side by side ?
What should I do to be well prepared before college? I have bought a coaching's material. Should i study that now? I don't intend to give the exam again for sure. I'm very anxious. Some people say that just chill and enjoy, and i find this advice to be quite unhelpful.
Some things on my mind:- read newspapers, read books, do some courses etc etc.
I would be grateful if you could guide me. Thanks!
2. Tutions is not just for general studies but NEET and JEE coaching. Parents only allow their sons the same in smaller towns. Girls are asked to pursue smaller vocations. And then the sons will rant that girls have it easy because they are doing smaller jobs and not sent for entrance coaching.
3. No, I dont know which ultra feminist family you are choosing for your argument, if there is extra money they help their sons with the clinics/ property/ offices in their business. Ladki toh shaadi karegi na.
4. All my uncles are in the US and have detached from their parents and living with their wives abroad and barely even call. This is the case most of the times.
The sports fest isn't the actual issue, that's trivial although some of my friends might take umbrage to that. It's emblematic of his fascist style of operation. The faculty you lot keep cooing about has so far not changed much other than cry about attendance throughout the semester. The faculty also openly dislike him, so he really has no one in his corner.
Here in law school, some are into casual, some not serious, some are breadcrumbling, some are dropping hints while having a partner, and some only want sex.
How difficult is it to find a woman with values! Perhaps, with such design, I will remain single and would prefer it that way.
This is not just a place where we study, it's our home. So, extra-curriculars, fests, are all important parts of a good human life.
Secondly, who started Strawberry fields, Spiritus, Trilateral, quad parties, Mid-Law party, Law School NYP, The Ball, and other similar student-led events/parties? Was it done by Gen-Z or by Gen-X and Gen-Y? It looks like Gen X and Gen Y used to have regular parties and no academic schedule lol cuz we don't have even 50% of the events that I just mentioned. Sorry, we are not as entitled and party kids as Gen X and Gen Y were.
This year, NLS may only have NLSTIAM, NLSD and NMC. The last one is highly doubtful. Even if all these happens, the student body will act as mere volunteer groups who will work as timekeepers and waterboys.
PS:- Please consider that I am very naive and yet to learn so much yet. So it would be good if you don't come down on me ruthlessly and troll me.
https://www.linkedin.com/posts/nfsu_allindiacriminologyconference-internationalconference-activity-7154512587827646464-otYU?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop This comes after NFSU and the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) inaugurated India's first digital forensic laboratory in Gandhinagar on 8th January 2024. The next two labs will come up in Delhi and Chennai by March 2024 and the last two will be in Mumbai and Kolkata by June 2024.

NFSU rocks!!!
I recall having left for home for one on Rakhi and got a call from her while we were celebrating to review a set of documents that were uploaded on the datasite. On asking if I could take it up tomorrow, she sternly denied that told me manage it my own and just get to her before lunch the next day. She ended up pulling me out of several transactions by putting her backlog on me when a new thing came in and my work would often not get communicated to the partner.
There you go :)
Admin staff toh hai campus pe, unko mila
Money raise - 60 cr
Post listing, Ramanuj and Abhuday hold shares worth 70 cr each, rest 70 cr with other shareholders. Did I get that right?
This is the real reason. I'm telling you.
When he unilaterally pulled most of CLAT, his attitude was: "I don't care what other NLUs and CLAT aspirants want."
Now he seems to be saying: "I don't care what the students want."
Sudhir's goal is academic excellence and not populism. Get a VC from a rubbish college if you want populism.
P.S. Before Gen Z kids downvote this comment, I request you to speak to a sample of Gen X and Gen Y alumni. I guarantee you that 90% of them will back Sudhir (if not more).
So just curious if people in law firms have taken to Ozempic?
No discretion with the University I think.
Thanks.
Anyone who has been through the process recently may please enlighten.
Thanks.
Best of luck!
well paid remote jobs - not restricted to NLU grads. And they employ over 500 lawyers as per what I can see on LinkedIn, total strength around 700
The Haryana Government has declared Half Day (till 2:30 PM) as Public Holiday on Monday, 22nd January 2024. Therefore, the O.P. Jindal Global University shall remain closed for Half Day (till 2:30 PM) on that day. However, all essential Services will function, as usual.
Thanks & Best Wishes, (Sent on Behalf of the Registrar)
Thus, it's a half-day closure, not really a holiday.
As regards the OP - itβs their call, itβs their prerogative.
Resolution to give deadline till Monday for Sudhir to concede to studentsβ demands, if he doesnβt cave, then mass resignation of all office bearers, committees, editors and so on. Total revolution henceforth.
Laal Salaam, SBA COMRADES!
If so, then can they share their honest experiences on how they got recruited and what skillset is necessary for being appointed?
Also, will any company require niche specialized legal professional such as those mostly involved in IPR, M&A, etc ?
I am from a Mid Tier 2 NLU, which has to mean something, right? I have 0 contacts and have spent a good part of Saturday morning sending applications and follow-ups for Monday. I have gotten my cover letter and CV from my seniors working at tier one and made so many changes. I still don't seem to catch a break.
My highest point was when I somehow managed to get an internship at a tier-one in a very odd month and team, which turned out to be more depressing since everything was confidential and I only did clerical work which shows in my CV.
I am so lost, I don't know what to do, what am I doing wrong, what else do recruiters need in my CV? Kya karoo yar, with my rank there will not be any zero days for me, I have to get a PPO, it is my only chance for a Tier 1.
Saw a recent discussion here about massive corruption in Sebi.
Any truth to it ?
Genius is someone who is ahead of his time . Being genius involves being innovative. In Law, Upendra Baxi would be a close living example of a genius. While this attention-seeking couple is clearly not!
By the way, hi Gsanks. !
Kejriwal also lives in civil lines And other cabinet ministers for 100% police protection
have dedicated metro stations and people are old-schooled will help each other
but civil lines is slightly on the higher side ( price-wise )
Any truth in this ? Care to elaborate ?
Is it because those who are in court practice are not top-notch?
Is it because NUJS has no alumni lobby?
I really need some additional source of income. How should I start?
What is the truth?
How is the selection process?
Do we have to compulsorily take the Solicitor Exam to get placed?
Can a Law Student survive three years of Clerkship?
What if I choose to discontinue it in between will I still get the certificate?
I have 2/3 contacts in tier 1 firms but I will only get one-month internships through them. My rank is not in the top twenty, so I don't think I'll get zero days. My rank is more in the 40s.
Also given my rank is in the 40s will I get an articled clerkship in the first place?
What should I do?
Thanks . It was not lucky to bag a doctor . I worked hard since school time. I used to follow her , haha. I got scolded and threated by her old dad and brother many times too all these years. She was a Bio Geek / Scholar Child. I was awara who definitely did not amount to much in life . I was managing my dad's cloth business on the side while I completed my CA + Law (3 years) . I should be honest that I did CA SOLELY to become eligible to marry her. I have own proprietorship firm now. Doing fine in monetary side too.
