Both are ▮▮▮ in some sense but legacy is far better than T&S in terms of professionalism
Avoid Bharucha generally if you can, the firm has such weird policies and micromanagement overall.
You cannot survive litigation in Bangalore or anywhere in India without learning the local language that court staff speaks.
Trilegal blr - July 1
Azb - August mid
KCO - September
CAM - June 11

[Moderator note, reported as: 'Joining for CAM has been always in August from at least last 5 years.']
Err... NLUD has been around for 18 years now. Hardly just starting out anymore, compared to NUJS' or NLUJ's 26 years.
Nobody cares about a PhD in law from the last three places. JNU's international law/relations department still has vestiges of reputation left. This central university superiority is only in your mind.
Don't know where you got that statistic from. In Indian universities, almost everyone who starts a PhD these days ends up finishing it, even if it takes longer than 5 years in some cases.
At least where I did, my state uni had much better reputation than Centrl University of the state.
There are some reasons, like for example people who see more to life then a big CTC package. Maybe someone wants to do academia and eke out a living that way.

Or go abroad.
I've heard that they'll be starting in September, onboarding will be in August last week.
Anyone who can tell me how is Abhishek Sharma's team at Dentons?
Guys when is your firms joining??? Only SAM and AZB seem to have announced. Any idea of Tri, kco and cam??????
The ▮▮▮ ▮▮▮ club in the delhi office wont let any high performer survive in the office, if the high performer doesn't tow their line..
They already feel like gods, they dont need these courses for that.
GNLU has 8 PPOs now (TT&A (2), Indus, Kco, Kochar, S&R, Anagram) 1 links vac scheme, & more 5 in pipeline.
Hi guys! As the title goes, which one is better work wise, culture, pay and scalability to upper firms. This is for the Capital Markets query specifically and for Delhi offices. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
I have never seen associates get credit (even if they bring in clients). It's only the partner
TT&A has updated its bands this FY. A1 pay is now 23, 18.4+4.6.

A2 pay is a composite of 29, about 21.3 + 8.7.
I surely know the person who has since left for better avenues. Hope they're doing well. On that note, any firms which come to your mind doing similar work in disputes which would be nice for an ex-tc lawyer?
Hey i just wanted to ask is it possible to switch from a job in tier 3 firm to tier 1 firm ? Im in my 5th year and a bit confused if i can land a job in tier 1 firm after i get placed in a tier 3 one. Could you help me answer that?
Might give ppo to worthy candidates, work is good however payscale is peanuts in comparison to the rest of the related industry. ▮▮▮
which noida disputes teams are actively hiring freshers? if anyone knows which partners in disputes might be wanting to hire pls lmk
I am a first a year criminology student from OP jindal haryana, Can someone suggest good criminal lawyers or law firms in mumbai where i can intern
One can pee on Indian roads at random and no hue & cry is made about it but an intern drinking water in a court room, seems to be a burning issue. Priorities!
NLUO has 10 PPOs so far with more 10 in the pipeline.
If tomorrow an NLS graduate is caught in corruption would you blame and boycott NLS? What a stupid logic and you call yourself a lawyer !
Stupid brand name and titles. Oh look I did a postgrad. The only way a masters is justified is if you want to subsequently do a PhD and enter academia. Otherwise it's just entitlement. A decent graduate can get a great job with just an LLB.
How about unemployed students from batch 2010 to 2025 first ? Majority of the people are getting outted like flies getting swatted out .
True. Every single PhD from any university in india is the same. In the end it's the degree, publications and connections you can make.
The employer will always choose an nlu PhD and some decent publications over a private university phd and great advisor. The advisor is only for your aligned interest not for the employer.
You can't select your own advisor, 99% of institutions don't give you that option. You think this is a foreign phd ?
So there's no difference between a PhD from JNU, NLS, IITKgp and a private university like Shiv Nadar or Bennett? What a load of bs ! A CV with a NLU will always beat a CV with a private universities
Try to get 2 publications and focus on your phd. Also try looking for a Godfather/Godmother.
Do law firms even have vacations? Esp the non disputes ones? Disputes one i have seen atleast during court vacations get holidays
Nothing to do with the student being from NLU. Even if the student were from a private law college or a TLC or whatever, or even if it were a senior counsel, would have been scolded
Lack of money and growth opportunities

As if the top litigation counsels aren't outearning the top law firm partners by a factor of 3-5x atleast. Keep being in the delulu that a law firm 'job' is the key to growth and success
Hi, Is it possible to opt for Para Probation right if you are a JAG officer. The rationale being - that JAG officers undergo the same training at SSC officers at OTA, and Paras are a purely volunteer force.
As pointed out by someone, both have went separate ways. Request someone who has worked with them to shed light on which one is the better place to be for litigation?

Thanks!
No, because everyone sane knows not to parade these numbers until the recruitment season for a batch is over.
It's because trolls like you are obsessed with Sudhir's achievements from two decades back, rather than concerned with the state of the university under his leadership in the last five years.
That's a 57 compared to NUJS' 95 if you're comparing sheer numbers for bo26. Looks like you had more than a few unlucky exceptions
No more speculation. Soon we will get to know who will lead the Law and Judicial Depts as also Edu and Finance Depts. All these depts have a seat on NUJS GC, EC and FC
TMT at Blr is amazing, great work culture, super smart people as well
Is it true Crawford trapping its employees and stealing employee's bonuses? Anyone spill the tea
For a "fellow law student", you have made one hell of an a priori assumption. What got you to believe, based purely on the text of the title and body of the OP's post, that they have a prior undergraduate degree?
"Would a British or American judge do this?"

My response to that from experience of British judges: very unlikely, but not entirely impossible. I know of some characters in the England and Wales judiciary who might do this kind of thing.
Why? Is that because you failed to get the Rhodes Scholarship in the same year that Sudhir Krishnaswamy succeeded, or because Paul Craig rudely rebuffed your request for DPhil supervision, while accepting Krishnaswamy's?
Why? Because you know that foreign firms can eat you alive for breakfast, and your wives and children for lunch and dinner? Is that why, like the Shrofs, you send your own kids to be educated at school and university in England and the U.S., while trampling on everyone else?
This is the no.1 reason why I hate litigation and will never join the same. The no.2 reason is the lack of money and growth opportunities.
Even designed Seniors are not allowed to have water inside Courtroom.

These students need to get over their NLUs.

Also, that video is quite old and not of heatwave underway presently.
Nirmala Tai is responsible for the mess, because of her ridiculous tax policies. A proper free market-minded person like Sanjeev Sanyal should be the next FM. Don’t make him FM of Bengal, make him FM of India.
Any info on Perfexio Legal Noida office? Can't seem to find much on the internet
Every tier 1 and tier 2 is sending a contingent for the London Disputes Week. It’s all available on linkedin. Is SILF going to take any action?
This sheet seems rigged. A lot of figures for a lot of law firms are not true.
S&R and RBM are meant to be. It’s good to step outside for a stroll, but home is where you always return.
Water should be allowed. It’s a basic human necessity. Coffee/Tea are non essential. But water is. One can’t keep going out of the courtroom to drink water
It's a really good team, best clients in delhi region, great work culture and pay
As the OP you probably know that the firm isn’t working with head hunters and most of its hires happen from direct applicants. Seems like you have an agenda :D
has anyone gotten ppo through online internship, or is that entirely impossible? can you get it converted into hybrid/on-site? does that give a better chance? do they still have one internship policy or a callback? can anyone pls guide on how to get a ppo interview?
Are those teams hiring for 2027 batch???? Which is better for work culture and growth pls help
I've got the PI call from IIM R for ipl programme seeing the high fees and no placement report yet should I join this programme ?
can people please volunteer for some real numbers
from GNLU, NALSAR, NLS, NLUJ, NLUD, NUJS, HNLU, RML etc.
Can Delhi teams state their numbers? Would help negotiate the lateral switch
It's a very old video and the judge has retired it's been a year or two I don't remember exactly and he also joined BJP after his retirement
▮▮▮ ▮▮▮?! 😂

I heard he broke a glass bottle on his junior’s head in anger 😂 Some say this was at his office, others say he flew into a rage and did this inside the Court premises itself 😂🤣

Guy has the wildest stories about him 😂😂
I did not, i have an assessment internship there, & want to know the structure of the firm.
Which Firms follow origination credit system (rewarding lawyers who bring in clients) apart from retainer ? What is the criteria, process and reward system?
They are asking all applicants to sit for a written exam.
