Applied for nlud Assistant professorship , with phd publications experience etc etc but not even shortlisted for next round. Anyone has any updates?
I reached out to them few months back, no response even tried mailing some principal associates. how does one apply
how did they get to you. as a 2026 batch grad I would like an assessment or something if not an interview. they keep rejecting after applying online
Hi All,

Need help in knowing more on teams at trilegak Bangalore. Which are good teams to work with? How is the culture. Also what is general pay for alteral hires at A2 A3?
whats the size? they seem to always be hiring

also what matters do they pick up? also whats the pay?
Do people get full bonus? Is 27 a cap or people can get more than that?
Outdated. Lala firm conglomerate. Not relevant. No one gives a fuck !
idk if your place com has given you guys at nalsar "the talk". revealing/inflating numbers is like shooting yourself in the foot on dayz. well that ship has sailed it seems for nalsar
better do a 3 year course and intern as much as you can. realistically how do you plan to deal with 18y olds as your batch mates for 5 whole years. one can definitely make a career out of a 3 year course with practical experiences. save your time and resources.
Is it possible to pivot to teaching with an LLM and PhD at 30 ? Or is the ageism very strong in Indian academia ? I've heard that abroad age isn't a deal breaker as long as you have publications, knowledgeable and a decent command on your specialisation.
Can publications and research beat experience? Or can they beat brand name of the phd institute?
Does it really matter where you do you PhD from ? Obviously I am not saying a massive difference like a Tier 1 NLU and a private university, but more like a decent known university.
What is the hiring process and scene for Charandeep Kaur's team at Trilegal Delhi. Any insights would be helpful
NLUJ is literally the best when taking an overall review- campus life, food, placements, moots, ADR's, fests, hostel life.
is there a delhi office? because i saw it up online on their website but no practitioners in Delhi
how did you get hired (assuming you did) and how's the interview process and for a private college student, it there a bias like some firms
how is her work and team like? is the exposure good or very hierarchical given she leads the disputes practice of that firm. ▮▮▮ and why does that firm not have a proper website to navigate stuff
I'm in my first year of 3 year llb , interested in corp law suggest me law firms to intern ,also as this would be my first internship so what law firms would hire me
well i can get affidavit from client, thats no issue, will just send them affidavit to sign and theyll send. Application i can sign through counsel right, with my signature only. Affidavit signed by client ill attach at end, that's enough?
They will all defect to BJP and everything will be whitewashed, just like it happens in other states. don't forget the current CM is also ex TMC and was Mamtas no 2 at one point. He left not because of ideological differences but just power struggle.
Beedi powder stirred fried, along with some good quality seedless weed cooked in premium extra virgin olive oil and some Banarasi tobacco for that extra umphh..
Bro, NALSAR had 13 offers on Day Zero. Most of their 2026 batch is still unplaced. NLUD had a terrible year as well, but they always do. Only NUJS, GNLU, NLUJ, and NLS had a decent year. The rest of the NLUs have struggled.
Any thoughts on Aditya Bhargava's team at Trilegal. I heard that they are hiring how is the nature of work and the work culture?
How would you compare it to the Bombay office instead?
When you have to keep justifying the justification, it means that their value is highly questionable or simply lacking.
Hi, would love to understand pay for A0,A1 and A2 + Work Culture at the firm, any insights would be great, thank you.
You should get better comprehension before trying to call people out. OP didn't refer to Odisha as a Northeastern state, but those faculty from NLUO who may hail originally from northeastern states.
Once again, the students leveraged the university's name to get the sponsorships. The sponsor gave it to the students so that they can represent the university in an external forum.
If you are a GC category person, then it’s really the private sector you need to look at. Not sure if the T1 firms will be easy to crack, but you can try smaller firms. Also explore tier 2 cities, district courts etc.
It’s a very good firm and mostly into litigation across North India..

A very good learning place for young professionals
Wtaf. Wish you’d reported him to the cops and all of those rotten fuckers to BCI have their license cancelled
Can we make a list of small/boutique firms for batch of 2026 that might be hiring for trainee roles. Experienced lawyers in the field can please add the names. Thanks! (Non-lit btw)
But who the hell is university to ask these? If sponsor was asking these, it made sense but but why the university? It's more of a private sponsorship and arrangement is between Students and the Sponsor. It's not like university felicitated the arrangement.
August mid is what I have heard. They don't want to onboard early and incur costs. War hitting hiring and law firms hard
I want to move out too. can't afford an llm though, can't even afford a plane ticket to the Uk lol. and I picked the worst degree someone who wishes to move out could pick. would need a miracle to leave. wish you the best though (not being sarcastic)
Very high. They have hired more than 3-4 people in last couple of months. Have been really trying to expand their practise area as of now.
Thinking about getting one. But I want to be careful before plunging into it. Don't want it just for show-off. Want it if I get good perks and true paisa vasool. A free golf lesson or a free lunch once a year at a hotel don't mean so much.
Nonsense. India should kick out all the illegal aliens back to their countries. We neither need them nor their contributions. India is for Indians only and not for illegal aliens from Bangladesh, Myanmar, or any other country.
yes please if anybody have insight really helpful

imma thinking of applying to firm and who is good in long run NN or MB
Run your business. Make it bigger. Get your father retire early and enjoy life. Law degree for you is useless. Focus on what is your bread and butter and make it big.
Ppo holders in IndusLaw. Have you been communicated of your joining date? Though generally it's in July as per the past. But it's may end and haven't received the joining date.
It's a non-NLU, why include a nlu ? Face the fact. NLUs are good for corporate but for real legal work like litigation and judiciary, the will always play second fiddle to non-NLUs.
3 year. DU or NLS. Nothing else. Intern like hell. Every semester. Thankfully law is the least ageist profession out there, if you have skills, connections and an amicable lawyer, you'll definitely make it. Don't worry.
Is anyone aware whats the salary increase in B&P, after you become A1 and further? Would really be grateful!
the original results came on 18th april, sc admitted to the fuck up on 24th …. it’s 29th of may now will they give us an update at all? 😞😞😞😞😞
> Just because you were never bitten by a dog, doesn’t mean dogs don’t bite.

On a different note, the reverse of this is exactly the argument given by all the paws loving students who protest if any dog is removed from their campus
Avoid nlu nagpur. Placements not great. Christ has advantage of Bangalore and 4/5th years do a lot of internships post college to secure job. Christ has edge. No point of going to nlu nagpur just for the name.
Hi! A 2025 grad transitioning from corporate law to policy and interested in following a similar career trajectory. Possible to share an anon email where we could connect? Many thanks!
Happy to break it to you--nobody really gives a flying F about NLSIU or any other college. There are many lawyers/ if you are good and/or connected, you have a shot. Otherwise, try being a chef!
How can a first Gen get internship at such a big firm
Any body interned in vaish associate delhi direct tax team? Any idea what task can a person get there
Hasn’t she also quit and is joining Dassault? How come it’s not in legal news !
I guess it's like ba LLB 5 year then after 3rd year u can take any specific law as hons
What are the top 5 law reviews in India ? And can they be used by SC.

I read somewhere that the first readers of Harvard law review are supreme court judges of the US
despite the brand erosion of NLUs, it is far more preferable than any pvt college
Nalsar currently at 28.

Huge alumini help

More in pipeline

Aiming for 100% placement for all the students intrested.

Not clear about the figures tho

Most of them are from SAM/CAM/Khaitan's expansion in Hyderabad.
bump- also do you suggest we apply via email once too if recieved no response post 14days of application via web?
all these 3-4 day time period for tri etc are they applicable anywho no matter form of application or to one of the ways of either email application or web??
He's good only. Worked with his team once - quite sharp and detail oriented.

Idk why people here are hell bent on dissing him. Mandate lose ho gaya kya koi to him?
I graduated from 3 year llb when I was 27

I m doing good for myself

Go for it

DU is a good option
You are assuming muslims as a homogenous unit and that there is no discrimnation/persecution in between them.

This is a wrong assumption.

P.S. You don't have to mention you are a clat aspirant. Anyone and everyone is allowed to have a intellectual discourse.
"Why isn't Saraf able to retain quality talent within its fold?" When I was young, I used to be told by teachers that a seemingly complex question has the answer within it. Now I know what they were talking about
There is no pay-parity across bands. Your pay will depend on which partner you're working for and the difference could be significant.
1. JGLS

2. IIT Kharagpur

3. 5-6 State law colleges aka Tier 1 NLUs

10. DU

11. 2-3 State law colleges aka Tier 2 NLUs, tied with GLC Mumbai

15. ILS

16. BHU/AMU/Jamia

17. Remaining Tier 4 NLUs
Agreed on the employability part as a concern. But if you are under a good partner, there will be enough room for growth but yeah this work is niche
Do you already have an undergraduate degree? If you are eligible for quotas, try for govt jobs because there is age relaxation till 32-35 for certain entry-level positions. If you are not eligible for any quota, then do a 3 year degree and enter into private practice.
Pehle to apna geography sahi karle...odisha is not "NorthEast ". Odisha is east, kahi se bhi uska border northeast ke states se nahi touch hota h...
Sadly Karma never seems to find their address, hence, kalyuga.
Could you please look into how his favourite resource communicates with clients and his teammates?

It’s only because his sister on the team that he feels comfortable speaking like this to anyone. Seriously guys?
Unsure of how many people were shortlisted for the interview. But I believe the interview round was conducted 8-10 days ago. The 30 selected candidates were informed 2-3 days ago
Composition of GC hardly matters. That body meets once a year if at all and all decisions are taken upfront. EC plays the main role. Faculty are inconsequential.
Hey, yes it was a difficult journey. Faced a lot of ridicule from everyone, except my family, which supported me throughout. In a couple of interviews, law firm partners were extremely rude to me. Somehow crossed all that.
India is still a secular country. Once a refugee has arrived here, there are in no danger of persecution, so no reason to fast track their citizenship application either.
Is there hiring in this team or any of the TMT teams at Tri Bangalore
Firm has shut down, both have started separate Chambers.
Absolute massacre taking place. Over 100 resignations from TMC (from councillor to MP level) in just 3 weeks. Many influential strongmen arrested. The arrest of Abhishek Banerjee is looming. The party simply won’t survive and the NUJS GC and EC will be completely purged.
Those who protested have all graduated now and are mostly associates in law firms. You won’t find too many standing by what they did.

Only a small number of committed ideological people, in academia or NGOs, will.
Tier 1:

1. NLSIU

Tier 1.5:
2. NALSAR

3. NLUD

4. NUJS (promoted from tier 2 because the TMC will no longer be running the college)

5. GNLU

6. JGLS

7. NLUJ

Tier 2:

8. NLIU

9. MNLU - M

10. RGNUL
