Rafique Dada and Rohan Shah are two other seniors.
Open Taxmann select bomay high court sort the cases by relevance and just see which counsel name is appearing again and again and you will have your names.
Mihir Naniwadekar is amongst the finest tax lawyers that India has in the below-40 category. Have worked under him during an internship, and he is one of the sweetest and sharpest minds out there. Please try there, it will be a worthwhile learning experience.
Is Mihir Naniwadekar active these days though? Also does be practice in international taxation? Have read great things about him in the sub.
Thanks for the reply.. in case he’s not taking up any matters, would you recommend another mentor for direct tax in Bombay HC and ITAT Mumbai? Thanks!
Try Aditya Ajgaonkar or maybe Percy Pardiwala, SA. Though he is a senior counsel, I cannot really say how much it will help you with the drafting part.
Who are the chamber juniors of Mr Mistry and Mr Percy Pardiwala? Should they not be the next big names?
The idea that you must belong to a particular chamber is outdated. You can find talent in so many different places without inheriting pedigree. It's time advocates get recognised more for their talents, rather than which chambers they come from.
Have worked with Madhur Agarwal. He is good. Have not worked with other junior counsels of these chambers
