>The critical information that Manu Sebastian missed in his thread is that this is a FRESH petition filed by Sharjeel Imam which is not at a hearing stage as far as bail is concerned. The FRESH petition was verified only on the 21st and on the 25th, it is set to be heard for ADMISSION. This would mean that on the 25th and thereafter, the court would first decide whether the petition itself is to be admitted. If the court decides to admit the petition, only then would the hearing on the bail and the prayers mentioned in the petition start. The court can just as well refuse to admit the petition and if that happens, the Supreme Court would not be hearing the merits of the bail and the prayers made in the petition at all.
Anyone who practices at the SC can easily identify the error in reasoning here. "For Admission Matters" in the cause list does not indicate that the arguments would be heard only after the SLP stands admitted.
>Therefore, it is important to mention here that there is, currently, only ONE ongoing case in the Supreme Court pertaining to Sharjeel Imam β which is one that was filed in 2020 β for the clubbing of FIRs. The petition to club FIRs is in the hearing stage, while the FRESH bail application is not. The latter has not even been admitted yet.
Assuming that FRESH means it is not a pending case. I would say it's a feeble attempt at defending itself after LiveLaw pointed out that the hitjob was not backed with facts.
Even if pay is market or lower than market, itβs a place you can work at, happily, peacefully and without fear. Go in with your eyes closed.
He was paying a rent for his office around 30k(the office was fairly big and near the court, although I am not really sure about the rent part) and he also has 2 junior one was getting 30k and other one 15k.
His consultation fee was quoted around 5k but I seen him consulting even at 2k also. Depends on the client capacity.
I would say he must be making anywhere bw 2-4 lakh per month. The frequency of the cases depends. He rarely rejects any client even though he has to lower his fee. All the fee he receives is in cash. So I don't think he is paying any major taxes.

Any samaj k thekedaar who are going to diss - pls give your own suggestions, dont crib about mine.
It paid off for her in a big way because people would work with her on anything she wanted. And after graduation - would do her any favours she wanted. You could be competitive with everyone else, but you wouldnβt be with her. There were very few instances of people being nasty to her in law school ( far fewer than most) and she basically had an easier life in law school because she was nice. Her five years had less drama than anyone elseβs and she was allowed to focus on learning and improving herself because she was so nice no one wanted to bother her with drama.
Hereβs the thing though. You should actually genuinely want to be a nice person. It cannot be an act. I donβt mean that there shouldnβt be some animal part of you deep down inside. Thatβs there for everyone. I mean that you should sincerely want to be good to other people and tame parts of you that are more primitive.
I disagree completely with the poster above who said thereβs some deep distinction between nice and kind and to be kind instead of nice. I think thatβs only true for βnice guysβ who bother women. For most people - how you treat them is what theyβll remember and being nice is a good pro social thing. It just is. And people who arenβt nice often justify to themselves that βyeah they might be rude or have an outburst or be emotionally disregulated but theyβre not all bad.β Of course no one is all bad. It just does take extra effort to be nice and people who do it are trying to do so must learn to be more patient and even tempered in the long run.
Literally no one else cares if a judge somewhere says youβre a class apart. It doesnβt change a damn thing in real life. Pull yourself together dude.

I want to know about the firms that have dedicated team who deals in IP of pharma sector. How about a legal career in pharma sector would be? What are the advantageous thing one could to secure a job in that sector?
Regarding PPO, they massively screwed the 2024 batch. They took around 8-10 people on assessment and hired only 2. That too after dilly-dallying with all of them for months. Ruined careers of more than half of them because by the time they declared their selection/rejection, most firms were done hiring. Most of them had to settle for peanuts in random firms and companies no one's heard of. They declare their results by June and by then you're practically f****d. All in all a huge shit show. If you're aiming for ppo at samvad mumbai, be prepared for hanging by a thin thread for months at a stretch with no surety of whether or not you're in. My suggestion is it's not worth it, please go elsewhere.
On the contrary i don't know about the pay at BLC (heard it's between 8-11 lpa but I'm not sure) but have mostly heard good things about the work culture and mandates.
Their opinions are copy paste NDA and that's the running joke
also how long did it take you to receive the mail for the 2nd assignment? TIA
NB1: This only considers programmes taught in English in countries where a significant portion of the population speak English. Doesn't consider Mainland Europe, primarily because of language problems there, though there are multiple good options available there too.
NB2: This evaluation just considers how 'worthwhile' an LLM is intrinsically, not for law firms specifically.
What was the level of questions of legal english and maths logical one can pass or itβs difficult and needs a preparation before attempting it ?
Please tell me the level of questions with an example if can please
Please anyone who can explain and guide me as how to prepare for it and hacks for passing it
Please i request you
Indian LLMs have entrance tests thank God
