I hate that he spent any time at all thinking about this or thinking this was worthwhile to do. And I hate that this was then someone’s job to commission design and execute this, that taxpayer money went to this, and now journalists who should report on more important things are now spending time talking about how a statue doesn’t look good. Talk about a waste of time. And the hollowness of this kind of gesture.
