I heard that a certain very famous Professor in Jindal (cannot name the person as it will anyways be blurred by moderators) had to resign around▮▮▮ ▮▮▮ ago because

he was caught embezzling funds by the Jindal Family. Clue - This guy ▮▮▮/
Grass is always greener on the other side ! As your T1 buddies are they really happy with their lives. They just stay for the pay check that’s it
The first rule of NDA Research Academy is that you do not talk about the NDA Research Academy
Do you go to NLSIU? If so, you really, really have gotten a lot wrong, about many things in life (not least about your own uni).
Bhai TMT is niche but you're not completely hopeless, maybe try to get in-house roles-at your level some of these would be open to you.
His Honour, His Majesty, Vishwaguru Prime Minister and India's dedicated son Shri Shri Narendra Damordas Modi
Is there any significance of having 'Recommendations' on LinkedIn from Partners or Senior Associates where I have previously interned, will that help me as a student in any way?
Lol CAM is a house of cards. The card on top does not know that the cards in the middle are unhappy.
Hi folks, just wanted to seek all of your help with any insights of hiring especially in Bangalore. As Batch of 26 have started joining, is there any last moment vacancies across practice areas??
There is S&R, DSK, SAM, Phoenix Legal, Panag babu and some more law firms in Okhla. Which one is it?
Hey how did you get it? Because i have applied months before and no response. Is connection needed?
Only an academic speaks like an academic. Raj is a businessman and marketer. Running jindal business. Don’t expect prof like decency or thoughtful behaviour. His mission is to make money. He’s making in tonnes of it so doesn’t care about faculty or anybody.
Wow, the most oppressed sections of society have the lowest number of people who passed. Truly mind blowing
Oh, you're still not interviewed? Are you a graduate or which year??
If Reuben left CAM. What about Reeba? Will she also move or stay put?

CAM Bangalore head is Reuben's sister Reeba.
The Big cos. are not looking for saving money or being awarded damages but showing the world: Who's the Boss in IPR suits by getting injunctions.
That’s a tale made up by people who can’t gather the audacity to quit their toxic tier 1 job. Been there, done that, and a tier one job is the least sought after thing for a person who actually believes in themselves.
Those reels weren't fake...those elite girlies really don't work because they know they have their dad cruising their career.
NUJS is 31st July. As always, NUJS is doing the best in terms of PPOs - 55 in total including pre-day Z by firms like Argus.
Leiden university for data privacy, check profiles of folks been there and done that, I know of Anubhuti Sinha for eg. Remember your growth trajectory will be nothing great and salaries get capped. Plus doing all of ghar ka kaam
Hi everyone- so I am a T1 law grad who couldn't make it on day Z. I have one internship lined up at a boutique. Should I do it even though chances of conversion aren't that great??
I am from T1 and it's sad if it's that way because I know plenty of people who just don't pull their weight around in a T1.
Hey, just curious about his office, could u tell me why you’ve found them to be inefficient and how is he as a lawyer?
So long as students keep relying upon the largesse handed down by the admin and faculty, they will never be able to push for anything. The students are very much complicit and enablers of this mess, not the victims that they like to portray themselves.
If attrition wasn't high, then given the number of people the T1s recruit every year, they would have expanded to multiple times the size they are currently at.
don't worry, the overall feedback matters THE MOST. It's j a patience game now
hands down cam- internships 2 different teams and a glowing recommendation from both (2 diff practice areas = 2 thorough presentations), a questionnaire, ppo interview, and then a rank+marks check.
tta ans s&r hire literally hire almpst everyone who interns and doesn't do a big fuck up and is from a decent college. It's all a timing game w them, intern early, don't fuck up and you'll be hired. There is no interview process, no questionnaire, no call back also.
Buddy, you are unemployed yet giving cringe shoutouts to some “star alumni”. Ridiculous stuff.
Forensic audit should definitely happen. Doesn't matter where. Why not both the SJA and university simultaneously. F the SJA. Why isn't the GB getting this done?
OP here. The practice area is TMT, ie, actual tech & regulatory advisory (as opposed to just M&A in the TMT sector, although I'm fairly comfortable with gen corp as well). Advice re: in-house particularly appreciated.
who gives a fuck about random replaceable A3s. only law firm peeps think their work is so imp and they can’t be replaced
ABV followed by LBS. NDM's India has seen lot of development and growth but communalism and toxicity has increased overall
Worth considering actually because ive heard that they have a decent work culture (as good as one can expect considering it is still a law firm at the end of the day lol) and decent deals too, not one of those dying firms
KCO Mumbai specifically because of their one internship policy
Hey folks, my CAM PPO interview is scheduled for the last week of July. Do they still roll out PPOs around that time, or are most offers already done by then? Since NLS DAY0 is on 30th.
Can anyone share the current A0 salary at the firm and what the culture is like? Curious about mentorship, workload, partner accessibility, and overall experience.
NEW BEL ROAD BE SO GOATED!
Plan B, Chin Lungs, Chapter One, 1522, Socials and recently they even got BOBS!
OP Here- Mods please publish the comments since they might be helpful or cautious to some people like myself.
intern somewhere. write something. have seen it happen multiple times and yes it will be awkward at first but then it'll be all normal again when you find your own group. dont stress too much. take a break and chill if needed.
7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Very hectic. But of course, you work on the most highlighted matters.
Go through the books on contract drafting by Ajar Rab. 'A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting' by Kenneth Adams is also quite good. Brush up on contract law as well obviously.
This year the cut off was way too high , the cutoff for general category was only 4.5k .
Actually vidhi has other offices already. In Bangalore, chennai and mumbai already. Technically this would be it's 5th office but yes. Point still stands on how they can do this suddenly...
Is there any chance that my call back internship will get converted to a PPO for BnF Mumbai CMS IndusLaw office ?
What language do they speak in the district courts of Delhi? Is everything done in Hindi contrary to how it works at the Delhi HC and Supreme Court? Or can non-hindi speakers carve out a career in the district courts.
Sekhri does good PE work. Any firm would gladly take her and no firm in their right mind would want to lose her.
Dama Seshadri Naidu charges 1.75 lacs per hearing

Good as an individual but may not always come prepared and juniors in his office are inefficient

So best to avoid and engage someone reliable
Probably TTA or S&R (not as large as the Big 7), but highly ranked in specific practice areas and match T1 pay (sometimes even more)

NDA also has relatively fewer vacancies and better culture than the Big 7
don't worry
if not this, you'll get something better. Have self-belief and apply proactively. You'll something better
Really? Zia? You think she will give room to Suhail and team?

Someone spill more on this
Depends. Vahura, Crewt and TMPL seem to be legit. Then there are those which are very palpably a scam. Though I have not personally used their services so ppl who have pls comment
Good job consultants don't charge money from you. They charge money from client. Client gives a mandate to hire the best candidate available in the market, not the other way round. Look at consultants like Michael Page, Vahura etc.
They have selected me for HR and Technical round interviews, also scheduled it. Any insights wrt what do they ask or what expectations they have?
Any insights on how KLA pays to their paralegals, also how's the work culture there?
▮▮▮ (CAM ▮▮▮ ▮▮▮ ▮▮▮) was apparently forced out due to anger issues and multiple allegations against his character?
Does anyone know how many people get selected for the interview and how many of them are finally taken into the program?
Has happened. Ribhu got into NALSAR. Transferred to NUJS after 1 or 2 years due to the medical care he required in Kolkata. Had to be approved by the governing bodies of both universities I think.
Overall good work- 100% flowing from Akila Agrawal. Zero books. Overall decent team. She mostly works from home though
