What's the interval before which one must apply for an internship there? As in say i wanna intern in the month of Jan, which month would it be ideal to apply there?
"I would absolutely scrap BA subjects from the law curriculum (except economics)"

The ignorance oozing out of this phrase is sensational.
Plenty. We get weekly referral emails from HR at Trilegal. Find someone in the firm who is ready to refer you. Might land an interview.
They were surprisingly decent when I worked across them on a transaction. Too lazy to google, but that lady partner was pretty practical during negotiations, so, not bad. I don't know how much they pay and stuff.
"We are all already looking at alternate career options. I know people who gave up T1 offers to join chambers."

Sure, let me know when you've quit 25LPA for 25k per month lol.
Have they increased base pay though for 2026/2027? What is the final salary breakup for A0s?
Singhania & Co or Singhania and Partners ? Which firm should I choose to intern with ? (General Corporate Department)
as per your logic, problems can only be solved from the biggest to the smallest, and if you do not focus 100% of your time and resources on the biggest one, you cannot address even the 2nd biggest one
▮▮▮. For one minister’s ward, a Fail grade was converted into Pass! Why? So that they could go on a student exchange!
Same as title. Are any T1 law firms offering pro bono services for any legal aid for police/students?
The first 3 are designated. GB is a good lawyer but does not have appearances close to the first 3. RB is barely out out college. The first 4 are serious professionals and not folks doing marketing gimmicks on SM. RB - I do not know enough to comment.
Gen Z dislikes both Feku Modi and Pappu Rahul. A 56 year old cannot be a “youth leader” for us. And all the regional parties are corrupt.

So we will go with CJP. Just need some more female faces and better aesthetics (though Saurav Das is cute ngl).
clearly you have never had the privilege to set foot in ganloo
Hi, I received an email from their team stating that I'll receive a call anytime after 4:00 PM for the technical round. Could you please let me know what kind of questions are typically asked in this round?
Scheduled to intern there next month. I am more inclined towards litigation than public policy practice.

How is the work in the litigation team? What kind of matters do they tend to? Lastly, is there a possible vacancy for B/o 2027?
Shame. It means after the increase to 21LPA, CAM is the paymaster!!
I will miss those reels. ☹️ It’s nice to see how rich and privileged nepo kids live: it’s like window-shopping at a luxury brands store and ogling at the people entering there.

Also, some of the girls were simp-worthy. Being NLU grads, they are brainy too!
How will Aquilaw survive if they lose all their government work? And since they have dissociated themselves from the TMC, they are not going to handle the political corruption cases either.

Any idea?
SAM already has a small office there. But isn’t Shardul Shroff in the bad books of the BJP, following Darshan Hiranandani’s letter in the Mahua Moitra case?
Details you will know within a year, when HR tells you find a partner yourself to work with or leave …. you will be running pillar to post with frustration.

So glad I am out, most harrowing experience !!!
Definitely CAM. And why not, should open a new office. 1 more office from where partners keep quitting. The show must go on la …bored of partner exits from Noida, Bengaluru & Mumbai !
Ya, they could barely survive Trilegal which amongst all T1s promotes independence. All Delhi corp teams at SAM are known to be toxic so integration can be very difficult or very easy. But no one has poached them for sure. Need to have books for that.
I mean they have different pricing packages, say 5k, 10k, 15k etc so if someone is taking the full service package, would they still ask for more money?
I want to ask what kind of practice a newbie should enter in their formative years.
Bullshit. Some mediocre ppl I know have made it to AZB Mumbai
Birlas and Khaitan have intergenerational relationship. And AV Birla is being wooed. Adani is looking to pump in big. So CAM. And therefore SAM will also drop in. Others will follow in due course of time.
what are some good boutique firms currently? please give some practitioners or small firms in mumbai that have good matters
- Some seniors seem to think intimidation is a personality trait and humiliation is a management style
Begur & Partners. Easily the highest rejection rate amongst law firms in the country.
This famous guy was so called professor of eminence. Fired overnight with his coterie HR director. That was a good decision of NJ.
Some of these new/independednt ones are borderline scam-y, best to be cautious.
Which of these course providers are relatively more useful for getting into a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firm job as an associate. Both of them has partners from Tier1 who teach stuff. One of them has an additional NLUD tag. So please do tell
My position is also the same. They are paying nothing and i have to survive by taking money from my parents.
Departures say more about the departee than the firm. As someone on the inside u should ask a member of the team for the reality
How is Sudhir Krishnaswamy shaping NLS?

Seems too rash and quick with his decisions.

(Increased Batch size to 310,faced protests, made the environment very competitive and cynical)

Anyone with any insights?
Khaitan removed 1.3 lakh bonus after clearing AIBE. Disappointed offer letter is coming a week after joining w/o being informed of this change🙄
nope, i dont think Links invites are out yet - has anyone received any update ? Please update
Better to prepare one year for MBA, two years at MBA and invest 3 years there than this hellhole called PhD. Absolutely thrash, especially in India.
And who's going to sponsor that ? Not everyone is rich enough to afford studying abroad. Hell, even a TOFEL or IELTS score requires 20k for the examination.
That's not the point. The point is that they will atleast let you choose a supervisor from your specialisation. Not a random law professor.
But they will still provide you with a specialist from your chosen topic, if not, they would assign a co-guide for you that's an expert in your field. They don't throw an arbitration PhD scholar to a Animal law expert.
The OG CAM gaurd who got the firm to where it is are all leaving for other better platforms because of the whimsical management and lack of trust in those who gave years to the establishment.
Good corporate exposure, work culture is also good. decent exposure. no idea about compensation
Exactly. Its like a big boss house with NMD as Sallu Bhai.
Wherever they may go, they will not get the same leeway as CAM. CAM was pretty easy on them.
so whats the verdict? Employment or GC? Should consider or not? whats their market reputation?
I have a virtual internship scheduled at SAM. What are the odds that I can convert it into a Call Back?
None..we should have been ruled by the British. Maybe that way we too would have developed.
You can buy the bare act set provided by Lawmann or Universals from Amazon
PBS is difficult to get in. I got in by sending a cold mail to the HR but most of them get in through reference (which includes cold emails to the Partners)
TTA, Trilegal, JSA, AZB, CAM, KCO in no particular order
Yash is not going anywhere but its fun to think about how CAM cap markets Mumbai is now just a mixed bag of people from firms. Hardly anyone left who is so to say “OG CAM”.
Never heard of them before, saw a post from a few months ago that they are hiring. What kind of work do they undertake? Are they still hiring? How is the work culture?
and a no cap bonus, though not sure how good that ends up being
There was a post of Trilegal TMT hiring in Bangalore. Does anyone know for whose team this is?
Looking to intern in bnf teams - What are some of the best firms in terms of long term pay and clientele?
Are there any gencorp/mna teams looking for A1/A2 in Delhi NCR?
