Can someone explain all of this to a non-Bombay lawyer, who knows only of "advocates" as per the Advocates Act? Genuine question.
Very closely knit circle allowing only nepo and privileged kids with contacts.
why were you downvoted? the pass rates are indeed abyssmal
yes. a solicitor who has cleared the BILS exam = AoR at SC
Fun fact - It is indeed a legal framework
Supported by one of the Oldest Chartered High Court
Codified under Supreme Court Rules 2013 with 7 years after passing
Lol - Sour grapes much? I hope you know the practice of law in India existed much before NLS.
what is up with LI people and their obsession with NLUs?
Knowing their high kowtow to tradition and centralization of education

They can either be completely in approval of it or threatening to bring it within their purview and management

Nothing in between
Is practice of an advocate suspended during BILS articleship training of 3 years?
Is this an option for NLU students (Im currently in my 4th year wanting to pursue litigation, clg not in mumbai but im from mumbai) I mostly see people from GLC doing this. Obviously cant intern year-round, any advice?
Does one suspend their license or sanad of enrollment as advocate, while working as an articled clerk?
