I am an SA in a Tier 1 competition law team and want to consider options beyond law firms. I am feeling stuck in this space and don't see a way out as I don't see a clear path forward. Any suggestions?
even after being fed merger control work by GC teams, comp law is a dying practice area, and litigation is ten times worse, there are like 2-3 enforcement orders a month out of which 2 are closed under 26(2), how is it viable in any way to go into litigation then?
What makes you think competition litigation is a booming practice? There are hardly a handful of matters + the regulator does not seem keen on enforcement at all.

Litigation is a very different game my friend
Why do you want to leave it is a growing practice with CCI in news daily and several combination orders
One thing you must not do is get into data privacy practice. That is where all the failed competition lawyers seem to be heading. There is nothing there for you. Focus on litigation, particularly regulatory litigation.
