In fact i feel there should be some rules in NUJS for all. The student body is given too much freedom. There is no order or discipline in that university. I wish i had gone to NLU D instead. I would have succeeded at finding peers prepping for govt exams instead of a crowd who partied all throughout their 5 years and ended up at law firms.
Its always worth it.

Wasnt this common sense !??
All you have proven is you're terrible at law, logic and no one taught you basic societal norms. Go watch a sexual harassment video man. That stuff's supposed to be taught in school. I got 0 clue how you got into this place.
Source- I graduated from GNLU in 2021. Got placed at S&A via college placement and laterally got hired at a T1 firm recently.
When I was an intern, I had similar issues with my A2 approaching me and showing interest and when it was not reciprocated, things went a little downhill. Please do not make things awkward. It would be very difficult if it gets exposed for both of you :)
So yes, it is wrong to sleep with her, especially if she is an intern at your org.
I can apply to other firms in Delhi and have a fair chance too, but I wish to continue with Khaitan only.
Please, Please, Please help me. This is very important to me.
Also scam exam? You couldn’t even challenge my argument of noojies retaking ailet and then even not getting it. Ask anyone in Nujs who hasn’t cracked ailet. Literally everyone will be in the same boat.
And look at the number of students who genuinely sit for the placements. Literally we have a research based model. The project 39A is enough to defeat Nujs’s pathetic research journals lmao
"issue" is defined under 2(13)(ea) is defined to include
(i) Public issue of debentures
(ii) PP which seeks to list later- DRHP
Therefore, the Regulations include even unlisted debentures which are privately placed (requiring debenture trustees under the ILNC Regs) but seeking to list on a recognised stock exchange.
(im T1 NLU student with good internships looking for t1 internships btw)
As per Reg. 2(3)(ab) of the DT Regulations (https://www.sebi.gov.in/legal/regulations/jan-2023/securities-and-exchange-board-of-india-debenture-trustees-regulations-1993-last-amended-on-january-17-2023-_68136.html), a "body corporate" is defined to include
(1) Companies with public issues- listed
(2) Companies proposed to list- temporarily unlisted, filed DRHP.
SEBI FAQ Question 14 (https://www.sebi.gov.in/sebi_data/faqfiles/dec-2016/1482144051182.pdf) clarifies this.
1. Internships: This was quite possibly the strongest section in my CV. My parents aren't lawyers and my Placement Cell wasn't spectacular, this happened because of good old networking. My first 4 internships were in chambers/litigation in my city - easy to get because they weren't coveted internships that everyone was trying to get. I kept in touch with all the people i met here, texted them for New Years, Diwali, did my best to be on good terms with everyone. A year later, when I asked these people to help me get other internships, they really did. This led to my tier 2 internships.
My tier 1 internships did not come from connections, I found that the strategy I outlined above seemed to work from tier 3 to tier 2 but not tier 2 to tier 1. I got my JSA internship by directly applying, they had a long procedure but I did get it without recommendations. The other t1 internships I got were through the Placement Cell - by this time I was in 4th year and had a good CGPA so I got the internships I wanted through college itself. By recruitment time, I had 10 internships on my CV - 3 T1s, 3 T2s, and 4 random ones that people outside my city wouldn't have heard of. Got placed through campus placement in a T1 that I hadn't interned at.
2. Moots: I did 3 external moots and would say that this was a fairly strong part of CV. The first moot I did was a random one, we reached the semi-finals but didn't win anything. The second moot I did was a really good one, a competitive national level corporate law moot of repute. We won an award but not the entire event. The last moot I did was a reputed constitutional law moot in which we reached the finals and won an award. An international moot would have been a great addition to my CV but was not affordable. I didn't really have the time to undertake something like this, either.
3. ADR Competitions/Essay Writing Competitions/Quiz Competitions/Debates/MUNs/Miscellaneous competitions: Some of these are easier to get awards in than others. Target those, and you'll build up your CV without spending an unreasonable amount of time/effort. I had a fair few of these and while they look impressive put together, the truth is that they're not that difficult to crack. You need to participate persistently, and you'll win a few awards in a few places.
4. Publications/Paper Presentations/Conferences: A lot of people focus on these extensively, and they're usually rewarded for their efforts. I wasn't one of these people, and had 0 publications when I got placed. My first publication was accepted after my placement. If you're interested in publishing, target good journals and blogs, a "publication" in ipleaders doesn't add value to your CV.
All this may seem intimidating, but remember that you can't do everything in the limited time you have. Try to build a diverse CV, and enjoy yourself with these activities! Good luck!
Lastly, coming to people, Delhiites are way more friendly and inclusive than Mumbaikars. Mumbaikars seem to derive some sort of pleasure in being rude at all times. And are always angry and on the edge, especially in the local trains.
Context: Please read again the first two paragraph of your response for context.
In sum, there is no essentialist basis. Yes, men are more inclined, and are perhaps, more violent. But women are not innocent and do have a history of violence too.

Just because some person won Stetson(lost in all other moots btw) doesn’t mean Nujs is doing well. Nlu Delhi has been performing superior to Nujs in domestic moots as well.
And placements? It’s because nlu Delhi students are more inclined to do research compared to being corp slaves. That’s why our alumni is pursuing quality LLm everywhere. And what about Nujs? Wait first beat us in the UPSC field.
I know of an incident, when the collegium recommendation went to the then President. He/She refused to sign untill a member of 'the Others' was included. And, that's when it was done.
But even if let’s say , since I don’t want to be a troll , Nujs’s placements are correct - why does it matter? We are just an inch behind and the number of PPOs are anyway the same right? Let’s not indulge in petty fights and champion Nujs all the time. They are just frustrated because they are losing their sheen. That’s it! Just because they got on Rhodes last year makes them on cloud nine lol. Talk about delusion 😂
Dear All,
I am extremely unhappy with the attitude of teachers who are raising their concerns about the quality of education at NUJS for 10% of the course evaluated by taking Viva on basic concept of each subject. About 90% marks are in the sole discretion of the Faculty members. Moreover it was discussed in the Faculty meeting. The proceedings was circulated but no one raised any concern till implementation is in the process.
I think this process will help students to face interviews in the recruitment process as some recruiting teams opined that many students lacking fundamentals of subjects though aware of current state of affairs. I have experienced in the CAS promotion interviews of few teachers that they are also not known the fundamentals and on enquairy came to know that those fundamentals are not taught in the class. I will tomorrow issue Notice to all teachers to submit me short questions on fundamental concepts of the respective subjects, which may be 10 to maximum 20 questions. I believe that in each subject some sentences and concepts require to memorize and to remember whole life. Those who will think they will not accept the proposal they can do whatever they think right in their judgment. For the best interest of the majority and average students, I will go by my discussions with the representatives of the
students.
My best wishes to all of you.
PS: All typos in the email are made by him XD
But look at that situation if you could marry a person early with less earning or no job or on his face value. That would have been height of abnormality. Now your question on people of your age group. These days you get good guys in the same age group too. Due to Covid lots of people age and time for marriage got extended. So try the 4-5 years younger or of your same age group. Don't follow the taboo of older age thing. That does not work at all in today's world. Once I had been at international conference and I met an Indian Civil servant. She married a foreigner who was 10 years younger than her and they were happy couple with no regrets with 12 years of marriage. Husband was handsome and intelligent and girl was just a normal and ofcourse she was a diplomat. So there are thousand cases like them and this is a truth. Do not waste time on people thought process. Just have faith in you that how brave you are to struggle out and got independent and focus on settlement with great guy who could love, care and respect you. Trust on these there are thousands of people who are facing similar situation just like you referring to both men and women.
If you have marked it contested because of the word “narcissistic” then gown about “nepotistic”?
So it’s now a question of a race to the bottom. As of now, I would say NUJS is better placed because its alumni have tended to perform better, but I can’t say what will happen in future. For example, if Rajasthan gets a well-educated and dynamic CM like Sachin Pilot or RS Rathore, while NUJS is stuck with Mamata, my money would be on NLUJ doing better.
Being an introvert won't harm you in initial years but it is a factor which will be considered at the time of elevation to partnership.
