Randomest colleges are making top ranks but good institutions such NLUO, RGNUL have been poorly ranked
Please do not make any false claims. They pay 1500 per week and also give lunch everyday as a part of the overall compensation
Use your legal chops and conduct DD on the property to find out ;)
Yes can you please add some info to this as it was not even discussed on LI
How can non-nlu students from lesser developed states and cities get internships ? Here we dont have any exposure and guidance. No placement cell.

I am already graduate of 2021 batch.
Can u tell me how u got internship?

What were application process tasks/interview ?
Was reading reddit and they most of the lawyers(even big law) there said they work mostly from 8/9am to 5-6 pm, unless there's emergency. Why can't Indians work like this ?
That exactly the case. Zameen se bnane mein aur yuhi mil Jane mein bht fraq hai.
Changing the game for associates honestly. Top tier clients, top tier partners and mentors who respect your personal space and time. And not to mention, the handsome salary. Ot only gets better from here. As someone said, lala firms will have to buck up
Saraf aur CAM ka cringe posts aayega LinkedIn par, just be patient till its out.
Not IndusLaw for sure after the trio exit to SAM, Gurgaon. Try Touchstone, KCO and Argus.
Abhimanyu Bhandari, Prateek Chadha, Arshdeep Singh Khurrana, Stuti Gujral, Jai Anant Dehadrai
coz he is a nlu lover & can't read or hear any facts/truth against nlu's
Yeah, then there are some lawyers and GCs who are seen in every conference. Clearly very little real work which would require them to be at their desk.
The moderator is likely one of those pseudo-left, cocktail commies, with privilege, and family money, busy hopping between Diwali parties and weddings across India and the globe. Busy time. Cant moderate with such other, more pressing commitments.
Gaggar, really? They work even on holidays and weekends. Associates work even till midnight.
Any insight about the work culture, good teams and partners?
its like getting tired of an opponent firing at you in a war lmao
What are the good t2 and t3 firms with a good gen corp practice currently?
Every profession is demanding if you wish to excel but the toxicity of excess working hours due to partner selfishness and inability to push unreasonable deadlines, combined with a rat race attitude widely being promoted-not justified
I hope that the other law schools will actually focus on issues like Manipur that are closer to home, but not as attention grabbing as the middle east crisis.
Trilegal has been around for more than a decade, JSA for even longer. The other firms that you mention are still here and thriving.
Mod, I posted a new thread about NAAC in the morning. Not sure why it didn't get published, it didn't contain any disparaging comment about any individual or institution, just wanted to initiate a conversation.
Academics at NALSAR and NUJS is much better than NLUJ. The latter doesn't have a single good teacher other than the VC herself.
It's because they keep conspiring themselves. Have you seen the new propaganda videos showing Modi as a sadhu born to lift India out of poverty and corruption?
If you cannot comprehend why it's Bice and Bed instead of Vice and Ved, respectively, trust me, you haven't lived NLUO enough. Go out and talk to people, talk to admin staff and you will get it facche!
Trilegal is a game changer. Most family/nepo firms like SAM CAM blah blah will change or perish because of meritocratic firms like Trilegal and JSA.
Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan

Samvad Partners

These are the most relaxed firms (compared to Peers, of course in house is chiller)

Not by 6. But not as bad as other firms where everyday is a Late nighter.
The absolute best is Pramod Kumar Dubey, Sr. Adv.

Others are Sidharth Luthra, Arshdeep Singh Khurana, Shri Singh. However I cannot think if they still do extensive trial court work, except for PK Dubey.
He had an overall good influence on the growth of the institution but he was not a good VC. Totally student unfriendly, authoritarian, the centrepiece of many controversies himself. He was well connected to then CM now PM, which im sure has helped.
5 years. Bimal Patel took over for the next 10 and Shanthakumar has been at the helm since then for nearly 5 years.
Instead of trolling and bein sarcastic, you could have suggested a name, but no we will troll people who have a passion for law and also want a life and we will troll people who work late nights because apparently they have sold their soul for law.
It literally says and shouts internship, the question. What's that question even
I don't think it will be any worse than law firms. I mean, the person will have greater power than law firm HRs.
such kind of people should be removed from all positions of authority and power. It's a shame he has not resigned till now. shameless.
Hi, I'm in 4th year at a t1 nku with average grades. Which offices of t1/t2 firms are hiring in delhi-ncr for 2025 batch through ppos?
Heard one of the counsels is toxic. Do your own due diligence though
Even the comments about bad HR seems to be written by the same person just to make it sound legitimate.
No bro, they are v v v v v v v reluctant to give out a PPO. Other Teams are still open to hiring, this partner focuses on lateral hiring.
Agreed. It'd also be possible to follow/keep track of users whose answers we like instead of 'Guest' 'Guest'.

For example, I am the OP (girl law student) in the 'crush' wala post lol
I don’t think you are from NLSIU. You sound like a non-NLSIU product jealous of the excellent things that Sudhir has done, owing to which the gap between NLSIU and other law schools has increased.
I doubt if you are an NLUO student as you cannot even spell her name correctly.
Same as above which on to choose considering Corporate Practice

Please help anyone
Who in their right mind would downvote a basic question seeking info like this one?
Yes. As one of the organizers, I have attended events in support of every single one of the groups you mention here and many more that you don't.
Which advocates in Delhi have a thriving WCC and Criminal Law practice - including extensive trial court work and a good learning experience?
If it is true, then how the judiciary can be considered as independent and capable of upholding constitutional values. Then we have judges making essays on cow. Is anybody taking it forward or will it be ignored?
Wha all is billable and how do law firms determine it?
As usual, studied nothing! Have to start from scratch. Am I doomed? How do I study enough to pass UGC NET ? The only plus point is that there is no negative marking. But what do I do in this last month to sail through??? Any suggestions??
It needs to be followed before your internship commences. There must be another email with deadline to submit the same. Ask the HR once if you have doubts, they answer mostly without issues.
As Diwali approaches, I have heard that firms have parties, give gifts etc. Which firm does what? Share deets!!
That home can also be family property which owner of firm might have got from their forefathers
For sake of your own professional growth please consider other opportunities by seeing their office and unprofessional atitude of people their one can surely see how good is that firm.
Spn is working from the home of founder. Seems like a very below average office. Hr or hr team doesn't have an ounce of professionalism same is for partners. In terms of recruitment they keep ghosting candidates . No good work culture
Lawyers are in the business of the rule of law. There are no predators here. Stop fishing for nothing and make a career.
Bump, same query. Some of these firms seem attractive, but considering their smaller team sizes, is it worth the time to try and get a ppo?
