How will the vacancies be filled if the number of people selected is just 13? Shouldn't the number of people who cleared prelims exceed the seats available? The selection process could be more transparent.
Technically, they can do that. If the applicants don't achieve a certain benchmark, then the vacancies shouldn't be force filled. However, that should be decided at the interview stage unless a formal cut off marks is declared in the beginning. I also refuse to believe that given the current quality of the HC judges, people with similar quality can't be found.
What benchmark? I appeared last year. I got 83 kn law and 19.5 in language while passing marks is 20. Mind you, I got 16 out of 18 in objective part of grammar, they did not even give 4 out of remaining 32 marks. Essay I wrote was way too good because I had rotten in from a book also letter writing. My parents are from Gujarat too. They are JUST not giving marks in language paper. God knows whyyyyy
what if they are intentionally not allowing meritorious students to achieve that benchmark. if they are fair , why they are exempting gujarati students from that draconion language proficiency test

Just wait for the next round of selection. Justice Sunita Agarwal who is a no nonsense person has recently taken office as CJ. She is slowly clearing away all the rot in the system..
If it is true, then how the judiciary can be considered as independent and capable of upholding constitutional values. Then we have judges making essays on cow. Is anybody taking it forward or will it be ignored?
my friend (from Lucknow) missed by 2 marks. He summarized whole process in 2 line "kash mere papa v judge ya powerful personality/advocate hote to sayad mai v aaj judge hota"
never ever appear for this exam. it is time waste. They rejects meritorious students

finally she prepared for UPPCS-J 2023 and cracked that easily

Is there scam in selection process, as they don't allow RTI on pre and gujrati language test.
Outside Gujarat student fails the exam by 19.5, 18, 19. Because there is minimum marks qualifying criteria of 20.
Anyways it looks like only 13 people paid the bribe they were asking.
