We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

How to pick myself up from here?
Should I write something or what?
make the learning fun,
If a person can't explain in a simple manner he does not know it well himself, you must have capability to make a 10 year old understand complex legal issues then only are you a real teacher
COMPETITION IS EVERYWHERE ....atleast law/CA/doctors are at far better positions that they can start their own practice with few year of struggle.
Interesting times ahead.
Secondly, the golden circle firms are NOT the only ones that offer India-targetted vac schemes. There are a number of Asian & European firms that open such applications, and most of them don't put focus on ranks, but rather a complete picture of your CV.
So, all things considered, one bad sem would not really diminish your chances at vac schemes — particularly if you can explain it properly wherever required.
And, a bonus gyaan from someone who pretty much got every other job offer I set my eyes on — don't let your privileged SoBo-type "toppers" bully you into thinking that you don't have a shot at this because of your rank. By third year, I was already in talks for PPOs from two well-established firms, and basically had never gotten rejected in any application I'd fully prepared: but because of an average rank and the hushed whispers of the privileged batchmates, I assumed that I didn't have a shot at vac schemes and never bothered applying — dumbest thing I could do back then. Don't make the same mistake!
Mods pls make it featured for pay transparency so that it can reach more audience.

Despite things getting "court-monitored" nothing really changes. Often the worthies tacitly allow the probes to go nowhere. While justices end up with fancy sinecures, justice doesn't get done.
I'm a 2024 batch pass out with a good CV with no job in hand.
Also, any possibility of these paralegals to converted to A0's?
The firm's brand value and learning experience is very good. Culture wise delhi and Bangalore are fantastic.
Mumbai is a ▮▮▮. ▮▮▮
Just look at the attrition rates and you'll understand how bad the situation is.
For ppo, Delhi and Bangalore don't hire that much.
Mumbai office is great for learning. However for ppo, Keep it as your last option. Mumbai office takes loads of people as assessment interns out of which they actually hire hardly 3-4 people and for that too they won't give you any definitive information as to whether you're gonna get selected or rejected. They'll string you along for a good 5-6 months in the hopes of a ppo of which there is still no certainity as to whether or not you'll get it.Basically they lack transparancy in their hiring process. For a ppo they'll definitely make you cry and question yourself as to why you wasted so much time here. Please do think twice before going for an assessment at mumbai office.
Assaulted - she was so gentle I literally thought she was hugging the student. And if someone comes into your house and you ask them to leave and they refuse - you have every right to push them out.
There is no right to free speech inside someone else’s property. She was an invited guest who was asked to leave and she behaved poorly.
If you don’t think that’s right - consider if you want Israelites coming into your home to lecture you on violence and butchery of oct 7.
Shall we send of Bajrang dal folks to your lawn to chant JSR all the time ? Or do they not get free speech?
I’m a leftie but this isn’t civil discourse, this is trying to score political points at the cost of civil discourse.
Oil prices through the roof?
Modi victory becomes uncertain?
Law firms freeze recruitment?
Or am I panicking too much?
Forget the VS, forget it, even forget getting a decent Day Z offer if you arent in a top NLU. Just apply to internships at firms and get experienced and try getting a PPO.
VS and Day 0s are TOTALLY GPA based, and you cannot turn your rank upside down in one sem trust me.
Also, read well and teach well too. Don't just read from the book. Nobody respects that. Students can do it on their own too.
Make a per semester plan and work harder than others. Depression will be gone once you see the improvement and the result.
Thanks in advance!

Avoid Dua.
Have you ever given any thought on this?
It's a commercial law program which offers employment opportunities majorly in legal compliance and regulation of various companies.
If you really like law and want to test it out if you really like it then go for this course as it can be done through correspondence mode along with your govt job. You just have to prepare and write exams. Later on you can do a 3 years LLB from a not-so-strict attendance policy college. You will easily get plenty legal compliance and counsel roles in top corporates. And as far as I know, in house roles are much better than law firm jobs. It will suit you.
Secondly, improve your comprehension, you're on a legal site after all. Understand the difference between 'low paying' and 'unsuccessful'. I never said that leftists are not unsuccessful. I said they're in low paying jobs. Academia is a low paying job, NGOs are low paying jobs. If you want to be rich, corporate is the way to go, and suprise surprise ! little naive boy, most corporates are RWs. The fact that you understood 'low paying' as unsuccessful shows that for you money is more important than passion, reiterating the RW narrative.
Thirdly, majority of leftist that you see as "successful" or as I see as rich, are either from generational wealth, like marx himself, or are in the elite of politics or academia.
EDUCATE YOURSELF !!!
First Barrier: the illusion of equality.
We are fundamentally unequal. What appears inequality to you, is perhaps merely the accepted state of affairs / birthright / divine justice / result of prayers to another. Rid yourself of any notion that the world or society is required to be "equal" or "fair", and you have already started to equip yourself thoroughly for your personal and professional journey.
Once you have accepted this truth and reality, you will know what you have to do. Be imaginative, work hard, take your chances, hope for some luck, talk talk talk to people, and you may find that something works out. All the best.

I put my pay for previous current and next level at my firm everytime. Why dont people want transparency????
Can I get some insights for S&A Gen corp team. Real insights are only appreciated.

Usually for internship purposes, a bona fide certificate is required. The format is quite simple that the said person is a bona fide student of the institute and the purpose of such issuance is mentioned with the signature of registrar (he/she is the signatory in most of the official notifications).
A character certificate would be along the same lines as well, the major difference would be that it explicitly clears you out of any unruly activities.
I was trying to look up, but could not find, where your offices are in Bangalore. Would be great if someone could tell.
