Just to clarify, I don’t think I have a personality disorder or such. I do get hurt easily, but I overcome it after a couple of days, especially if I switch my mind off and play computer games or go to the gym, or hang out with friends. So, in my view it’s not chronic depression, just temporary depression and sadness. Just that I am perhaps more thin skinned than the average person.
2) JGLS
3) NLSIU
4) NLUD
Are "Tier 1" NLUs like nlsiu and nlud better than Symbiosis for corporate law, and which tier does JGLS make?
Getting into a law firm like SAM and others is difficult, but even more difficult is to perform and be the best, year after year.
How good is campus life.
Placement for LLB students?
What companies visit?
Good Only for IPR or general llb.
Judiciary/prosecutor aspirants there?
Show your intent in the meantime by doing courses for the same and trying to handle matters that related to IB (Cap marks, B&F, PE, Private client and so on). Some part hinges on your gmat score (in the new FE, try above 720, it is really tough now) and even more on your essay.
IB sounds good bahar se, but the working hours are even more insane than in our line of work, so make sure you actually have a passion for this. There are other fields like consulting (MBB, EY Parthenon, Deloitte and so on) that have similar hours but not as bad as IB.
I had a cousin who quit within a month from a renowned firm because he didn't want to subject himself to that for the rest of life. He's doing REALLY well abroad now
Many LinkedIn posts of theirs have this mail ID.
BALLB at a top law school like Nalsar, NLS or even JGLS will beat a 5-year MBA hands down.
Legal profession and judiciary with the opportunity to rise to become Judges of HC/ SC is available only with LLB degree.
A lawyer can combine a law degree with management qualification and enter into corporate management.
Additionally it’s a 6000 sq feet flat + only 1 flat per floor so would have been decent
not only have you identified yourself, you have made yourself quiet lesser credible
So it’s not just Mumbai. Why is real estate in India so expensive? Honestly, I find Noida pretty crap compared to Gurgaon, yet still it’s so expensive to buy an apartment there!
I am looking for tech law litigators in the Delhi HC/SC to do a long term internship with. Are there any good litigators who do primarily tech litigation? Any info on chambers/salary/job openings?
SR- Also, her interview course was not very law firm centric. Coming to her mentorship sessions, I am someone who is focused on corp but SR tries to bring out of the box solutions and often gives examples from JAG, etc. which is not what I was looking for. So if you are not into something unconventional or not pursuing some alternate career, then I won't recommend her at all.
Difference between AJ and SR- AJ has experience in GC and my area is also GC so I found her suggestions better than that of SR. However, I feel SR is better when it comes to guidance pertaining to GD and alternate/ unconventional career choices. I also find AJ's services affordable but find SR's services very costly.
AJ- She asks very generic CV based questions and basic questions during interviews which anyone having knowledge of law can ask, including 4th 5th year students. So I won't highly recommend her for interview related guidance but you can maybe avail her service for once. However, I was fully satisfied after availing her personalised mentorship session. Her suggestions were actually personalized depending on my situation and she addressed all my queries so if you are still in law school, you can avail her mentorship session as she can help you figure out your personalized course of action.
SR- I have been part of SR's interview course but did not find it useful at all. It was also very costly and she just handed me 3 recordings of pre-recorded sessions and 2 sessions with her.
Best of luck

2. Regarding the question of black Americans who want more strict laws on immigration, there are a very small minority who feel envy towards socially mobile Indians. Perhaps, some of them feel that Indians had an advantage in a system stacked against them. Also, how many "working class black Americans" have you spoken to who want more strict immigration laws?
3. Perhaps you're just more willing than I am to see the good in people who clearly don't like folks with a skin tone like ours. Am I saying all of working class America is like that? Hell no! The vast majority of working class America (white, Black, Latino...) is made up of a bunch of pretty nice people. But there are bad apples among them, who are causing problems disproportionate in scale to their numbers/percentage.
4. In response to your other questions, could it be that those "uneducated illegal immigrants" you speak of might just be people who are running away from danger in their own countries? From gangs like MS13, who receive arms illegally, thanks to the insane system that allows arms manufacturers and the N.R.A. to have such a crazy amount of influence on U.S. gun laws?
They have the highest number of partners in competition teams across India. SAM religiously follows promotions based on years of experience (9 to make partners)
I don't understand why the team is criticized. Trilegal and AZB hardly promote anyone to partnerships in their competition teams.
Although you are correct that SC has ruled that PSU jobs should be based on competitive exams, which I think is a wrong ruling. A PIL should in fact be filed against this ruling, as PSUs should be treated as independent corporations.
So off late PSU have used CLAT PG score for recruitments. I guess since ONGC Videsh works outside of India it may have found a loophole in the SC ruling and hence trying to recruit directly from GNLU. I believe this is a huge boost for NLUs. Someone should file a PIL in SC and restart on campus recruitment drive of PSUs.
Looking for advice from the ones who have first-hand experience.

If I intern with one partner, can I ask for a PPO in another B&F team, for this pool.
Any idea if this is true/ what the actual picture is?
Yea there is a lot of work and good quality work. All good teams have a lot of work and there is pressure from clients and therefore on the team.
It is a large 24-25 member team so definitely not a thinly staffed team by JSA standards. Underperformers who don’t want to work will obviously not make it in the team.
But all the senior members are genuinely nice and ready to guide and train associates. Salary and bill share is good (albeit for the associates who are willing to learn and work and have the capability to perform).
You are saying as if you don't pirate movies. Could have asked such simple question in google but to get dopamine you asked here to show why your fav movie is not coming to India lol
Do they pay more than 15L at joining?
T1 firms pay 20L+ A1 level and 30L from SA1 level.
