if you stop these comments then li will become a desert

you would always need these sorts of comments to ensure participation of all stakeholders, otherwise it will become like comments section of NYT (3-4 comments max per article on avg)
Sure, agreed, parts of the letter of the post is trollish themselves, though in spirit it is correct. Too many discussions on LI appear to be rather toxic (including that one).
@Mod: Was the first paragraph of the post about the OP being nice to others? Multiple references to "Tier 2", terming calling out privilege as petty jealousy, the list goes on. Maybe you should spend some time comprehending comments better before featuring them.
Hindi is the lingua franca amongst north eastern states and between them and bengal. Only the elites speak in english.
That's all very well, then type properly in Hindi, too, using a Hindi keyboard :). Not too hard to do :).
That's only because of the Hindi imposition by the North. Neither NE nor Bengal is interested in Hindi.
Stop talking BS. I am a Bengali and I speak in English when I go to the North East.
We, as Bengalis, are clearly not interested to talk in Hindi one bit. Just because we are widely welcoming and accepting doesn't mean we take it kindly when you impose your habits on us.
Bhee, ej Bhengawleej, aar kiliaarly note eentaarasted too tok in Heendee uaan bheet...
No, Hindi isn’t the lingua franca of the NE. We have our own native languages and hold it dearly (except Arunachal).
The same way as the love for Sudhir is by a few losers with an agenda of a**-kissing?
That is because you never submitted any evidence of those incidents such as email screenshots etc. Without those, it is impossible for mods to determine whether what you are alleging is true. They can't let the platform be left vulnerable to lawsuits.
How does one submit such evidence (where available, that is)?
Maybe LI should start a categorising method for the conversations with good categories, tags and filters

What's this? He wasn't a good teacher because he expected everyone to do the readings? Or because he didn't believe the bullshit excuses most students make up for not doing the work?
No, he could not explain concepts in class very clearly. He didn't have time for students outside class. He was aloof and not approachable and lacked in empathy. He himself shirked his duties as a classroom teacher.
Does hosting a sham entrance exam and then getting cancelled and then refusing to refund the fees amount to improving the state of legal education?
Have you ever learned or been taught to read? If not, I recommend you urgently take some classes. The previous comment clearly said 'trying'. The word 'trying' isn't a synonym of 'succeeding'.
By that logic, every NLU VC has been trying to do that. Not succeeding, of course. Just like Sudhir.
One effort of Sudhir failed, so everything else he does is also a failure?
Oh yeah. Must confess, I had completely forgotten about that in the rush of life!
This thread is itself so ▮▮▮. Get a life, dude.

While I don't like the Hindi imposition myself, why would it lead to you making a compromise? Just ignore non-English posts and don't engage with them.
Chapri comments and woke moderators. That’s the story of LI since Kian exited and LI stopped publishing news. So sad.

Kian, if you’re reading this, please do something!

What great contribution to the legal fraternity have you made in your life, pray tell?
Yes, true. The undertones of LI comments are actually class warfare. I have come across comments calling Sudhir “privileged” and “savarna”. That tells you all you need to know. That’s why the constant hate against JGLS as well.
Nobody hates JGLS. They just consider it beneath consideration. Despite its PR and fanfare and misplaced superiority complex.
