We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

1. Academia (ofc)
2. Policy / think tanks (they see if you have conceptual clarity)
3. Research based firms like NDA value publications (min. 3 for just applying for an internship)
4. T1, T2 law firms value high quality publications, but I've seen ppl getting hired who don't have publications, but have compensated for that some other way (moots, internships, etc)
5. Litigation (depends on your senior /chamber, but not too much relevance. Moots matter more here)
6. PSU/ Govt jobs (just clear entrance/ interview with whatever basic qualifications, you'll get the job)
