Chandrachud has a legacy drive and wants to be known for championing the new civil rights movement ^(tm) but this stuff isnt it. Its a mens rights movement thats rebranded. The tide has turned in nordic countries, its turned in england, the scandals of rachel levine and the WPATH will make it turn in America. Chandrachud will be remembered as a selfish cowardly person who only cared about his own image rather than the rights of women.
I know because Ive taught at law school. Just be earnest.
Had amazing 5 years. Still miss those days.
P.S - Have a look at their attrition levels, it will give you a better picture.
I don't see much reviews about ELP Mumbai on this platforms for some reason. Nothing about th pay and scope for disputes and resolution.
Scope of work,PPO, team quality, pay, matters etc.
Please!!
Also, do they allow you to change your internship location?
Any help is much appreciated!
Magic circles nahi magic circle law firms. It's a group, not circles. RP is a term not used with UK firms, the US and JSA in India use it.
VC deals 😄 . Focus on your exams kid
Candidates have written to the uni multiple times with no response from them for months. At least with new PhD chairs, that has changed a bit. Uni also had a very bizarre approach towards coursework. People have exams, didn't recieve any marks or anything, only to frantically look for them before vivas and presentations.
Some people were given ultimatum to finish. The places where they worked refused to give them leave and they had to leave their jobs to finish PhD.
Legally India are not only for Students!
For your kind information, BITS Law School Mumbai is currently offering LLB only. They are not providing LLM, PhD or LLD as of now! So, please have a thorough Background Study before coming into a discussion and provide guidances!
Dear Student (either from IIULER or not) respect others opinions as experience teaches you a lot!
Also are you talking about the rhodes scholar from nujs?
Have you ever come across any student who intentionally prefers to remain silent throughout the class but does amazingly well during exams?
In my estimation, teams that have relatively good work culture are:
(i) Trilegal, Bangalore;
(ii) KCO, Delhi (Harsh Walia's & Abhinav Chandan's team); and
(iii) Spice Route Legal (Aadya Misra's team).
Teams with bad culture:
(i) Ikigai Law, Delhi (Policy & Product teams).

Why are there no partner Promotions at CAM Bangalore?
That is what everyone does here.
“There is absolutely nothing weird or abnormal about it, take it from me. I dropped twice to get into NALSAR. In the first year, got lower NLUs even after a lot of preparation, so the natural course for me would have been to get into a private college but was determined to get into the top law schools, come the second year, I got into NALSAR. And I was 20 when I attempted CLAT second time and I seriously think that I made a sound decision. No one here gives a shit about your age or where you were before or how many attempts it took you to get into the institute, besides why is it odd to graduate at the age of 25? By and large people graduate when they are 23 or 24, what's bizarre about taking a year or two year! You are getting a bigger platform( a great brand value), better opportunities, better infrastructure, best placements among many other things, I see no reason to be ambivalent about it just because you would be "2 years behind your high school contemporaries." In addition to all of this, you are more well read or say more acclimatized to the curriculum than your peers are, giving you a rather good head start.”
Age never matters at Nalsar :)
Regards,
Nalsar’27.
2. Only NLU with a VC who:
(a) is an NLU alum; and
(b) is remotely qualified as an academic (in fact, he is extremely well qualified, being a Rhodes Scholar, which allowed him to read for the BCL in Oxford, and he later went back there to research for a DPhil).
3. Also, people here know how to draft, write, spell and proofread, unlike you. Nobody here finds themselves unable to stick the landing when trying to spell "makes". So stop dreaming, please.
so dont make ur age any barrier . good luck , world is waiting for you:)
Anyone who has gone through the same thing, what was your experience, any thoughts?
Check these links for consolation. No one will validate until you prove yourself to be of tough mettle. No one really cares about age, but check these still.

So, if India starts its own shipping line, would this mean the demand for maritime lawyers would grow rapidly, and would we see the emergence of maritime law specialized teams in Tier 1 law firms?

Wonder why the "RTI activist" and now TMC MP Gokhale is so inactive and silent when it comes to SIC of WB, which statistically is slated to take 42 years to dispose off the appeals. Everyone knows that SIC in WB is a joke (many other states too) and is packed with acolytes of Madam Kindness.
Because filing RTI is such a hassle in this state and the road thereafter becomes even more Kafkaesque, most folks simply stay away. Forget state govt depts, just try NUJS.
Hey SJA, why don't you give it a go?
2. Why hasn't NKC implemented the recommendations of the Justice (Rtd) PN Sinha Inquiry Comm. which was appointed by DD when he was in the Cal HC? Since NKC never completed the EC-mandated inquiry against PIB and Co, we will never known why PIB and his friends buried the Justice Sinha Inquiry Report and with whose blessings.
3. Till date NUJS under NKC has had to refund more than Rs 6 crores to UGC. The SJA in 2018 had raised all these issues (and the reason SAK scooted only to return when NKC took over). But NKC killed off all those inquiries. This EC, packed with friends of NKC, too has directed CAG audit of UGC funds received, spent and refunded as also forensic audit of univ finances since the time of PIB. But NKC has done nothing. Why?
4. The EC has also tasked NKC to have an inquiry done on distance education matter, including on the conflict of interest surrounding the Effulgent "deal" and unauthorised payments to iPleaders etc. But NKC has done nothing. Instead he is busy green lighting PGD courses (shepherded by his acolytes) to be conducted "directly" by the univ. What explains the foot-dragging by NKC?
One could go on. But the other interesting question is why the SJA chose to bypass all these things and pick up the lame SH issue? Shouldn't the SJA known better? Has it wised up now?
In short: international law (public or private) would mean law that deals with inter state or state investor or even trans-national issues. All firms domestic and international can do it.
International firms work majorly on same practices as domestic Indian firms, different jurisdiction almost same work.
2. Sports to play: Football or Cricket are always good.
3. Books to read: Highly recommend the works of Sir P.G. Wodehouse. Fantastic British author; reading him has sort of fallen out of fashion, even in his own country, I am sad to say. Really good stuff and really funny. The humour can sometimes be a little difficult to get if you don't know the cultural references, but, as a lawyer, your research skills should easily help you overcome this difficulty. Some people may unnecessarily quible over a choice between the Geeves and Blandings Castle series, but that is time-wasting splitting of hairs in my opinion. The true reader of Wodehouse would appreciate both, which is why I advise you to dig into both; if you prefer one over the other, that's your business. If you're an audio book type of guy, two very good actors - Jonathan Cecil and Stephen Fry (yes, the same Stephen Fry, he who played the Master of Laketown in The Hobbit movie) - have read a lot of Wodehouse's books for Audible (but purchasing that stuff is really costly).
4. Show to watch: Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister. Really good 1980's British comedy, show created by the BBC. You don't have to have lived there to be able to relate to it.

I have applied for both links and hsf this time . last year i got through till hsf interview but didn't make it through. turned out i had a cointern who had gotten through the same.
it's hard but not that hard. you need to ace wg but wg in itself is a very bad way to judge but you need not worry.
links has definitely given a chance to MU kids with 2 being partners there so yea you definitely stand a chance.
After my test, i checked online and found out that all questions have answers available online and it makes no sense to judge someone on an unproctored test such as the watson glaser.
my agile mindset test had highest scoring attribute - working with others and resilience. lowest was critical thinking
