We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Let us also be honest: barring the founder of Jindal, has any non-NLSIU Rhodes scholar done anything great?
It’s very unfortunate that Kian has handed over the site to such a person. Kian was prompt and also a proper liberal, in the sense of someone who believes in the marketplace of ideas.
Proof - a ▮▮▮ LinkedIn post from mnlu Nagpur’s non-existent orientation committee which equates two or three certificate courses to growing ties with SAM. In this way , DSNLU is even better suited for Sam.
Students interning at top law firms :- majority through connections and even then not being able to transfer them to jobs , smhhh

mumb obviously has tremendous locational advantage, nluo is completely in a backwater region
nluo has reached the highest point that it can achieve, but mnlu, mumb has still lot of potential, so in 5 years who knows where both unis will stand
personally, having visited both campuses, I would opt for mumbai, which although has inferior infra and faculty allows students a huge opportunity to do a glc
Don't make excuses of funds and privacy concern since the volunteers are ready to share their original identity and work for free (from previous threads).

Compare them in terms of internships , placements and locational advantage. Thanks a lot!
Yes, LSAT is easy. Yes, it is easy to get into Jindal. Yes, you don't need to be a genius to get into and complete the law course at Jindal. Yes, most of the kids at Jindal are privileged.
Questions for you. Why are you posting this? Why does it matter to you?
Is it necessary for every generation to slog for every damn thing? Does everything need to be a challenge in life? Would you want it for your kids? Believe me when I say it, Jindal or not, privilege or not, everybody slogs once they graduate. Yes, your struggles might be harder, but so were the struggles of those parents/grandparents/ great grandparents on whose privilege jiggles stand. I don't in any way mean to imply that one shouldn't work hard and simply float through life on their family's back. But does everything need to be a struggle? Work hard, earn loads and offer that privilege to your kids. Be that person/ generation that makes it. No one is stopping you.
There are bigger, much bigger things in life than all this shit. Please get your priorities right. NLUs/non-NLUs/Jindal, all this shit does not matter. We're all tiny specks, with little to no consequence. Please stop obsessing over a law school.

JSA seems to be in internal chaos if they can't even hold on to their old faithful EPs, cut costs everywhere. Are JSA coffers running dry? How bad is management at JSA if Aarti is willing to work with ZM instead of JSA Excoms??

One of our beloved faculties was kicked out because of his involvement which turned out to be nightmare.
Similarly who should take the moral responsibility for the deterioration of our university in terms of NIRF Ranking?
Time to question.
No doubt the recent appointment of the Registrar is questionable as well.
Just that questioning to the Executive Counsel may be a solution.
"Do you have any significant health problems (physical / mental) or medical
conditions (anxiety, depression, asthma, blood pressure, etc.) which may affect
your ability to undertake the task assigned to you ?"
Dont blame them honestly for this approach... Lala ki dukaan hai, defective maal kyu uthayenge.
PS- apart from my Korn comment, not gatekeeping over whether metal or WCM are cooler than EDM or Bollywood. To each their own.
"Upper class and gentlemanly" are loaded words. They imply primacy and benefit of doubt to the batsman, who is typically a rich toff, as compared to the working class bowlers.
You've also got your timeline wrong. Carey threw the ball the moment he gathered it. He didn't wait to check if YJB had tapped his ankle. YJB was stupid, and paid the price. It happens.
The cringiest movies and songs that will literally make you vomit.
Absolutely pathetic ads: zero creativity and fake claims.
I’m just wondering if regulation could be an answer to curb this? Have a body which can impose fines? Or tax mainstream movies higher and make good movies tax free?
However in case of mass illness like the food poisoning that happened last year, admin may give exemption because they need to please masses to save their seat but an individual can’t.
Time for the student council to step up.
However, I suspect as to whether this will benefit TNNLU, as it is not even in Chennai/Madurai. (PS: I was from TNNLU)

One more avenue for IPR lawyers after a good 5-7 years (at least) at the law firm is brand protection teams or IP teams with midsize / big FMCG cos. There is a lot going on in this space. Get an internship if you can to see what it is like to work their and get some idea about comp as well.
Cricket World cup me 10 me se 4 teams ko to hath pakad kar lana padta hai.
Football vs Cricket is like US vs Somalia.
Out of curiosity, can someone give her/his two cents on Nishith Desai Associates? What is their focus? Practice or research? And where does Imaginarium AliGunjan fit into their practice?
(PS: BTW, I've talked to many people in BA LLB and they all say the courses taught by Sudhir are extremely theory heavy

Can someone please clarify and substantiate.
I had read the reviews here. I guess I shouldn't have wasted my time with Resolut and their 2 rounds of pointless interview.
Any place which pays you good money is going to try to get an ROI.
Not to mention look at how tech companies fired people without notice or care. There is no such thing as a perfect job.
