This appointment is good for CNLU, a step down for FM after NALSAR, but FM is no institution-builder. He's not going to make CNLU great. NALSAR declined in his time and NLUD overtook it. Bajpai didn't make RGNUL great and SKD didn't do anything much for NLUO. All of them rode on the coat tails of their predecessors at their tier-1 NLUs. So, no real difference will be seen in the larger scheme, but students of CNLU might have it a little better now. Big loss for NLUJ though, FM could've helped that place cope with their domicile quota now.
Mainly - keep practising mock tests
Try writing bigger letters and leave space between lines
Amity Noida, Gurgaon, Gwalior, etc. etc. remain below average in law. You go when you have no option.
In Delhi NCR, NLU Delhi and Jindal global are the best law schools. You can think DU, Jamia, GGSIPU Campus (USLLS), VIPS, SLS Noida as next best choices.
Justice Sinha directs the DG of police and Returning Officer to submit a report by 3 August.

Pity the moderator is guided by bias instead of the merits of the petitions and automatically marks the topic as trollish. We could be on the cusp of one of the most significant cases in our modern constitutional history.
And no if you suffer from a genuine ailment, the college does not take that into consideration. I know batchmates who have had to voluntarily discharge themselves or sit in class with a highly contagious disease just to ensure that you don't get de barred. Law school is about studying hard, I get it, but the need to sit through a bad class simply because you need attendance is detrimental to the students

These are the only details I have. I need the name of this person
However, there is little mentoring, he can be moody, and the folks directly working with him end up working with other partners on their deals, so you get the shit-end of the stick on those matters due to the economic model followed in WG.
The upside is that Ashish is typically partial to his direct juniors and hence the pay and promotions are better than the other associates in WG and you will end up working on a wider variety of matters than most of your peers, inside or outside WG - some enjoy that and others don't and sometimes there is more advisory work than is good for you as a junior lawyer.
That being said, not too many of Ashish's juniors are partners in WG today - and those who are in WG today are fairly mediocre (I say this with humility). You need a certain kind of a senior who nurtures and then retains people as they go along thier journey and Ashish isn't one of those seniors. If you are a rank beginner, then this piece is not relevant for you.
If you have a better paying offer, then go for that. Otherwise, you will be able to leverage your time working in WG if you can say you are AAA's junior.
That's what it is. Please don't tell me Dominique did it willingly the first time.
Possible Republican nominees: Trump, Pence, DeSantis, Ramaswamy, Hailey, Hutchinson, Scott, Christie, etc.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Guess this was biggest twist

You know the Nirav Modi files, thousands of files they found with original documents some PNB originals in CAM offices? This was found with stationery, rubber stamps etc.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.timesofindia.com/business/india-business/cbi-nirav-staff-hid-50-cartons-of-documents/amp_articleshow/64280516.can
In my opinion, CBI is being super dumb in not charging CAM with offences for aiding the tampering of evidence. How is it that CAM did not know or suspect anything when 50 cartons came to their office from Nirav Modi. And why was there stationery, rubber stamps etc?CAM does not know difference between originals and copies of documents?CAM cant tell the difference bet seen documents and stationery?CAM can't count..I mean there are 50 cartons coming to your office, you don't feel the need to clarify with client? What kind of "law" firm is CAM?Oh wait, its not a law firm. Its the rich Shroff family's priceless kingdom. 50 cartons of documents including originals were found with stationery, rubber stamp because being the lawyers CAM was ▮▮▮.CAM anyways has access and relation to Adanis, the "good friend" of PM to whom no government official will dare to say no.CBI not charging CAM seriously makes one question the level of filthy corruption in our country and especialky government departments, it literally looks like there is no limit.
CBI is most corrupt agency
Another alternative is going to a top 50 (as listed in UK's HPI visa eligibility list) and then taking the UK route through the high potential individual visa. I hope this helps.

Does it happen in NLUs?
Apprantely, processing will initiate after the July Deadline
B) Institution matters to a certain extent. However Tier-3 NLUs are not considered prestigious. Also do check if anyone of your alumni has qualified for this particular course or not!
Among people from Bengal, two possibilities could be Rathin Bandopadhyay from North Bengal University or Indrajit Dube, currently VC of NLU Meghalaya. Or even AK Poddar or JK Das. Another possibility is a retired judge.
Also, where do these campus hires go after a year or two?
We need to know the Fuel expenses of their Cars
Hear me out!
I have heard froma senior, that they are ready to outmatch any tier1 offers of your interview goes well.
Also, they are expanding very fast, especially in IFSC practice.
They have a monopoly in funds practice.
They already pay the highest on Day Zero offerings in all Top NLUs.
Work culture is really good unlike any of the T1 law firms. Timings are more like an In-house job if you are moderately efficient.
Anyway, save yourself the misery of doing an LL.M right after law school (the mistake that I made) and gather a few years of work ex. in a Tier 1 and then look at an LL.M. The chances of getting a good gig in the UK will increase.
Focus on building your brand. Have great academic records, intern at great places and have quality publications in prestigious journals (quality over quantity, people). Identify niche areas and try to get published in internationally acclaimed journals. (This is not impossible, do your diligence on the journals). Maintain contact with the people you work with, especially your managers and try to intern at the same place multiple times and work your ass off at said internship. Structure your CV towards a specific practice area, lose the designs & colour and be very specific about the work you did. Merely saying you worked on FEMA isn't going to get you anywhere. What firms want to see is what exactly you worked on in FEMA. Do this effectively and you might as well PPO your way into Tier 1 or Tier 2. Even if you don't make it a Tier 1 join a smaller firm or a boutique and lateral after a year or two. What difference is it going to make? Lack of a life here, lack of a life there. No sexlife anywhere. Also a lot of tier 2 firms pay similar to tier 1s on mid senior levels. Day zero is ass, you won't die without it.
Om Shanti
2023 batch graduate here , some other details about me ar as follows -
College didn't provide placements , 1rst generation lawyer, middle class from a tier 3 city
I've had some decent tier 1 tier 2 internships, publications, presentations.,courses etc . However big firms do not hire Non-Nlu grads, nor do in house hire freshers .
Most jobs I'm getting are litigation and compliance which I don't want to do .
How do to get ahead, please help!
