I recently interned at a tier-1 firm. While I didnβt expect to get a PPO during this hiring freeze, given that Iβm also not from a good NLU, I was surprisingly given an offer by the firm.
They said they liked my work and could create a vacancy. So, the hard truth is that if your work is good and the firm sees that, theyβll make vacancy for you.
Girl - most likely and hopefully they will ignore it
1. Top NLU: Student from a political family who entered under a backward caste quota, even though he is a forward caste. Flunked a year and had multiple backs. Ended up working with one of the top lawyers in the country and then joined a top organisation.
2. Another top NLU: Student from a powerful family with political links. Average in studies and had disciplinary issues because of ragging and bullying. Went on to work in very coveted places in India and abroad.
I know just the guy you're referring to. When I heard the new main toh Sir par kar baith gya tha.
This helped me tremendously with reddit and insta too
I m 34 too. Tier 1 from A0 till now. 12-14% returns per annum & pinching every penny I have about 2 cr.
Does knowledge from internship matter for fresher or they learn on job ?
Hpnlu is just too ordinary college. Don't accept too much.
Do I need to keep those handy with me or they only ask what work I've done and no documents required ?
( For tier 1,2,3 as I've mostly interned at small places till now)
In my view, Company Law requires prior knowledge of Contracts, Property Law, Family Law, Economics. Take a step further and you'll realise the democratic processes in corporate governance (passing of resolutions and appointing of directors) are based on constitutional values. The waterfall mechanism under the IBC is based on a combination of (i) the banking lobby in our political economy and (ii) socialist virtues that protect workers. I could go on, but I hope you get the drift.
But there's nothing stopping you from picking up a textbook on Company Law in your first year. :)
Another thing, has anyone from non-NLU (trad uni) made it to T1?
The interview took place last week.
Please help, my brain will rot here
Im currently interning with SAM/ CAM (Cant specify team), and accidentally sent a weird text (sexual connotation) with my mentor and he "discussed" the same with the partner.
What's going to happen?
in the future someone is going to also give their height and weight with their questions

I had to share this light of the discussions concerning what happened at Jindal (and possibly at certain NLUs, behind closed doors). Now, I strongly disagree with both Sameena Dalwai and Achin Vanaik and believe they are wrong on facts, but I support their FOE. So I would also expect liberals to condemn what happened at USC.
The other thing this shows is the dangerous of students video-recording their professors and uploading them on Twitter and TikTok. Done by RW students at Jindal and IITB, now done by LW students at USC. So it's a worldwide phenomenon, This is something that really needs to stop. It breaks down the trust between teachers and students, and violates the notion of a university as a safe space for all. It is precisely these sort of acts that give Gen Z a bad name.
It's high time universities all over the world begin suspending students who upload videos of their teachers like this.

Not a lot of expenses, since I live with parents.
Venture is doing fine, but it sure is a risky move - let's see where it goes.
I m in same boat but I atleast have few years to reach 35 (I am 32!)
I dont even have good educational degrees like you. I was litigating. Left it because of shallow pay by seniors.
Very sad too
Would it be wise at this point of time ?
Will I definitely get good placement after CA ?
Pls no trolls and no Baccha Log commenting. I am seeking advice from senior people who are working.
Is this posted by Kian ? Good conselling. I would like to talk more
Historically Israel has always been fought over for. Religious zealots have wanted the "Holy Land" to be under their control even if it means dousing it with blood. Add to that some great British border making and you've got this nice big box of black powder.
Also, modern Israelis are mostly of European origin who were given land by the Brits and UN. Majority in Israel are not direct descendants of people of Hebrews of Moses or Judea.
Make what you want of it.
