Its is because partners ,PAs and SAs are not promoted on work but on bootlicking.When problems crop up in cases or matters these overpaid incompetent fools dump it all on an A0 to do all the work and "figure out the law" when they are themselves clueless .Yet A0 who do max work are overworked,underapid and exploited.Basically the poor A0 pays with his carrer and life to compensate for incompetent masters.How long can A0 survive in such a sytem?They leave

- Relocating to another city

- Larger fixed bands at other firms i.e. larger takehome portion of the business generated for the firm
- Some switch to T2s for better work life balance
- Most of them go for in-house roles
