So, irrespective of university, course, age, gender or background, currently who are the top 10 law professors of India ? As in who are the experts that will help take legal education forward ? Who are the present day DD Basu, Chimni, etc.
P.S. Only criteria is they must be teaching in India. Since foreign ones unfortunately will not contribute directly to the Indian education system.
2. You need a lottery, business, generational wealth or market invest income that will get you an early retirement.

May I request the moderator to remove (not just flag) the trollish comment accusing her of promoting nepotism? She is doing the exact opposite in her speech! It's defamatory and shameful to leave the comment lying. Please remove it outright.
Keep it 3-5 paras long. As people won't read more than that. If you know canvas, try creating a PDF explaining the issue with some design.
Finally, be active on Twitter and reply to people. Like top Titans, for e.g. Vijay Shekhar Sharma or Bhavish Agarwal or Nikhil Kamath. Of course it has to related to the tweet, but, a lot of people go through the replies and you'll be noticed.
Don't be critical but, either give a good POV or a supplement to their tweet. For e.g. if Bhavish writes about EV - you can reply to him about the EV policies of other countries which we can learn from. Similarly, your POV or explanation on RBI's new fintech update.
In your twitter bio add your LinkedIn profile link.
This way the employers will notice you. Ab Leaflet me hi naukri chahiye toh baat alag hai.
I mean, whole bare act of laws, not just bits and pieces. Now think company law, mining law and rules, electricty act and rules, arbitration , land acquisition , commentaries (Ramaiya on company law ) , Sarkar on evidence , Basu on Crpc , Taxmann on Income Tax Act , Insurance Law , Banking Law , Insurance Act, Interest Act , relevant circular , relevant notifications and THEN case laws on point.
Amity se llb kiya hai ya BHU se bro ? Oh sorry you could be a Llyods law grad !
I roam in court and solicit work. I am not quitting life because I have to take care of my parents. My mother loves me a lot.
As I grow older, I have just become more quiet. I am stressed 24 x 7 . I find it soo hard to sleep. I have no one to talk to also. I keep sending random invites on linkedin in hope of getting some kind of break , some kind of job , some tiny stroke of luck , some mercy from some bigshot.
Anyway, it is good. They do only investigations work have good work. Good work life balance

Thanks for the kind words. Especially because I was having some doubts - I see other people making way more than I do lol.
Clients are mostly through referrals only. I have done a lot of pro bono work (still do), so people started trusting me. When they trust, they refer. That's basically what I've learnt.
Plus some lawyers too refer some work every now and then.
The work hours also differ vastly. On some days, it could be 14-15 hours, but then there are days with just one court appearance and nothing much to do afterwards also. On an average, I don't stay in office beyond 7-8PM.
Now time for the main talk, NLUJ as a NRI-S category will be much better. The fee is the least plus you have two instalments to pay the amount. Nujs NRI-S honestly wonβt be that good. Being from the college itself, if you are getting a seat here as a general candidate then it might have made sense. GNLU is a good option after NLUJ.
Now, if you are availing loan, then I am sorry, you should avoid this NRI-S category. Because the amount is humongous (another reason to avoid nujs and gnlu). Take whatever general NLU you are getting and retake clat if it makes sense. You may find it difficult to even repay your loans. And I am not talking about 2-3 years. It may sound harsh but this is the reality. In any year, if you have to start the loan, then you are in danger. Avoid.
