Is this really true? Gonna intern in their gc team soon.
It will add absolutely no value, regardless of practice area but especially so in litigation. And in this market, it'll be incredibly hard to find a job in the US even if you cross-qualify. Think of other pursuits if you genuinely want to upskill, not LLM.
Make their lives easier, hand over daily management/growth responsibilities to the CEO – similar to how Chairman positions operate in companies
maybe 35 to 40k starting and can reach upto 60k+ wihtin 6 months
Nooo. I've interned there and mailing associaites is a BIG NO. they dont even look at it or they just ask you to apply through the portal.
How the tables have turned in less than 5 years.....

NFSU has changed the rules of the game. Now, NLUs will have to comply in an area which not their forte.
Attendance also relaxed- means theoretically its a correspondence degree as I can do my exams online and don't go for classes
Oh, come on. The university and the deans would rigorously enforce it. Whether kids (read: young adults) want to study or not- thats on them. You are in college, not school- so are free to do/not do whatever
just say that you don't have a spine ▮▮▮, and have to come here to rant about it
No difference. Both treated exactly same by recruiters.

How good the law school is and how have you studied/ interned for 5years is what matters.
C&M Data Privacy team is established properly and seem to be doing good work. Can try if interested
It is what I needed exactly. I have personally got mentorship from AFL program and the mentor was so kind. I was able to understand what to do and how to do it.
We had both Medical Jurisprudence and Forensic science as separate subjects in our syllabus. Didn't enjoy it as much, and I don't think it has any relevance to 99 per cent of the class. Perhaps for criminal lawyers, it's useful to an extent.
hi do people get callbacks after this virtual internship? how does one talk about callback/assessment if it’s completely virtual?
There are easier ways to get folks riled up on LI than this post.

On the other hand, if you genuinely believe in what you've written then you're an incredibly large ▮▮▮.
Approachable equity partner with good juniors I interned there and the associates are very kind as well and they have team activities and all
They say they are teaching using different learning methods. I have read some of their mentees' posts on LinkedIn, and they sound pretty cool and supportive unlike most legal ed platforms!
Hello all. I have applied at T1 law firms via recruiters and the so called cooling period is not yet over. Is messaging partners going to help me get an interview? Has anyone done this?
Your dreams are middle class. You need to move beyond this thinking to even understand how Shailendra, aka, the man, the myth, the legend, built the empire TLH.
Focus on your life. If you start focussing on every shot that goes on, you will end up in the loony bin.
How is Aditya Malhotra's team at SAM Mumbai ? Looking for some insights into work pressure, work life balance, seniors, etc ?
Why be a researcher and not a speaker? xD

And don't stress about this now. Just do your best at your courses and take things slowly and with time.
Same question has anyone tried getting a BH number plate while working at a law firm
Because it literally invalidates all of your efforts!? The exam was cancelled son. Having to put yourself through the grind once again when you have expectations from family, friends and most importantly, yourself, is not easy.
Strictly prohibited - see Government Pleader Vs. S.A. Pleader and A, an Advocate, In Re, AIR 1962 SC 1337
A second year here from one of the T1(s). Currently I have batch rank of top 10 and one + 2 moots.
Have done 1 NGO internship, 1 internship in a botique lawfirm and 1 under CGSC at Delhi High court.
What else should I do to increase my chances ?
"CHOSE not to pursue ANYTHING"

Please mind your own business, there must be specific reasons she didnt want to call out, such as her involvement etc. Please dont interfere.
We can question, rant, abuse etc. But irrespective of colour, ideology etc, all political parties and their govt will always stonewall and behave like CBI, just because they can and always will.
gourab banerji, gaurav pachnanda, ritin rai, ratan k singh
These other firms are also active with similar newsletters and opinion pieces. The proof is in the pudding. The entire deal list is not public information (the public announcements are) and there were quite a few since last year. Not sure what's the scene with these comments.
How is Abhinav maker’s team at trilegal currently doing? How is it working with this partner ?
It's the same ▮▮▮ firm that got infamous for an SA case recently (unsure about its validity).

▮▮▮ and ▮▮▮ r partners
Bump

Can someone please give clarity on his billing? Does he handle high-value transactions?

And how is the work culture of his team?
Supreme Court aor 2026 exam. Guys what are the chances after writ dissmisal . Is CJI interested to get this exam conducted this summer? Any steps being taken to ensure this exam?
CAM has been the biggest fresher hirer, they aren't gonna go on a freeze. Work and teams have only grown.
I made a bad decision doing tax. There's heavy competition from CAs. Even stupid T1s are hiring CAs. Please do cap marks.
Could someone shed some light on chambers of Mr. Tanveer Ahmed Mir - Pay, work culture, mentorship, does he hire freshers etc? Thanks!
Yes - SAM teams do go for annual retreats. Most teams usually go to Thailand, Vietnam and Dubai
Spoken like a seasoned cap marks lawyer - looking at form over substance xD

This is exactly the kind of person you’ll be working with kids! Consider yourself warned.
don't you think the question is self contradictory i.e you want to know which one is best in the long run and on the other you are aiming to pursue CFA to exit law ? Tax is a better deal you can also switch to litigation
First of all, start with the fact that mooting and arbitration are very different forums and skillsets from law journal work.
Professional, 1500 ka mila poora set amazon pe, 25 bare acts. Yes, it's still open book, just make sure the bare acts you're carrying do not have comments.
brother, thing is best moots teams are least dependant on researchers. So you're better off being a speaker if top grade competency is what you're targeting
How about Delhi?

I heard AZB's Shahrukh Khan is quite a known in the industry.

Any other named and known lawyers in other firms, having credibility in market?

How about Bangalore?
I mostly see their newsletters and opinion pieces circulating, but not much visibility on their actual deals. In contrast, other firms in the space seem to be constantly active, advising clients across transactions. Not sure what’s the scene.
Do only firms to international commercial arbitration? Do advocates or chambers do it? If so, what are the big names in Delhi?
A former colleague left the firm and is now a fitness expert. One of the finest kettlebell trainers in India, what I heard.
Did they not try to retain? What kind if things they did? Were they asked to resign or they left themselves? Also, was there probation issue?
if the VC and the ED actually knew how the faculty is running the society they would remove them from the college but sadly no student can speak up because the admin is blind to the sub-par faculty.
top 3 nlus have means cum merit scholarships on tuition fee, if you do well you can get around 60% of total fees waived from second year
Your info wrong..fee now 7 lpa tuition n hotel 3.5. T”50-55 lac for degree
Not exactly, but it definitely reduces your chances. Hirings post day zero are rare occurences & in most cases it doesn't work out. Your odds definitely become lower since all spots are filled up by August.
Dhruv is the guy who will scold you - but only for work. Will scold you as much as you work.
Was part of the team for a month as an intern - it was a really amazing experience. They’re expanding now, which clearly reflects growing work and a great team culture.
Per my sources, JJ at Trilegal TMT is hiring. TV also might be given he recently got promoted.
Don't be misled. There is a hiring freeze and till now no 2027 candidate has been offered PPO and many assessment interns have been told there is no clarity when and if offers will be rolled out.
I mailed with email available on website yet no response (like week ago).

Any suggestion what to do?
Yes, one has to sell his/her kidney now to be able to study in NLS...:)))
On top of that, the students there are protesting against the below subsistence level infrastructure - water, power, crowded hostels, etc.
Wow, this is a game-changer.

It shows how central FS is becoming to law. But yes, the application of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and management) to law, makes law so much more exciting.
There's no regulation by either body about the mode of exam, only the mode of classes.
Sorry, I have met plenty of people from your batch as well as your seniors. Academic rigour was not something that any of them were familiar with.
