Lots of telecom work for NN's team, otherwise data, e-commerce, AI mandates across all partners. JR has a focus on fintech and crypto too.
You do work across teams sometimes, but generally each team has clusters which manage mandates between themselves.
If you really enjoy TMT work, Trilegal TMT is your best bet, no other office gets this kinda work. But the amazing work is buried between bad hours, an average culture and way too much telecom.
Could you advise me with regard to any reading up that I would have to do with regard to JR's team or generally?
Also, any insight with regard to getting an assessment or a PPO at Trilgal would be helpful.

any possibility of hiring? Nikhil made a massive post and test about it as well but no update since then
Nikhil has the smallest team and least amount of work (shocking). Work hours are not bad but people in the team generally want to show they have work and stay late in office. And half the team is seconded (working for clients exclusively from trilegal office). Team is bottom heavy (only associates) with ▮▮▮. ▮▮▮
Jaideep's team has good work but mostly crypto/fintech focused. The team is very fun and enjoy working with jaideep.
They do core TMT advisory work and also undertake IP/IT diligence

I'll be interning with Jaideeps team in Nov, so now idk what to do. Should i asked to be changed to Nikhil's team (but i dont think HR would let me + it might offend jaideep?). Not sure if he'll be expanding now, has there been any news of hires since?
