Are similar restrictive clauses being included in t&c at other firms as well?
Also, are such restrictions even enforceable?

I'm not sure whether this policy applies across all teams there, but I haven't come across a similar condition in any other law firm so far. While such a clause may not be legally enforceable, the fact that it is being imposed in the first place is a significant red flag from an employment perspective.
