What I thought was that I travel to Singapore or london for an arbitration matter or atleast domestic travel can you please shed some light on this ?
Can anyone tell me what's the fees of the counsels mentioned in the answered threa
Haha it was neither hell nor heaven. It was just another decade in human history. That said the people who grew up then are now dominant in popular culture so they look back at that time happily
What are the niche practice areas that are not overcrowded and are mentally stimulating?
Some opine that it has some degree of repute attached to it whilst other dismiss it as a futile post-grad exercise with the sole objective being obtaining a LOR for LL.M programmes abroad. The truth, I feel, rests somewhere in the middle.
Khaitan Disputes in Delhi has not offered any PPOs off late. (And this is likely to not change)
True!!! KCO Mumbai (Raj Manavendra Chakra and even Kingshuk) are known all around. Many of them speak at international conferences while everyone else is Delhi is quite non existent outside Delhi.
I worked in that vertical and fully support this! Very forgettable work.
There was actual meaningful sustained human interaction + lesser poverty compared to the 80s
LG Ultragear 27 inch 1440p.

You can also try Samsung Smart monitors 27 inch 4K depending on your budget.
Hi. what did u guys generally write about in your essays?? and when can we expect the results of the shortlisted candidates? does anyone know the date
Not much though but I'm completely independent and I made around 13 lakhs last year. Not a lot but just enough for me to survive.
I study in a NLU, our college offers a few exchange programs each semester. I wanted to enquire whether there is a way in which I can seek external funding/scholarship for my exchange considering it is quite expensive. Really need guidance
There was internet, but only in the late 90s and with low-quality sound and graphics. People used to see movies in the hall or on DVD/CD, or buy physical copies of music albums.
This year has been full of surprises. IndusLaw and Luthra wiped out. CAM and JSA with their agressive expansion. AZB and SAM more or less stable.

What according to you are the undisputed Tier 1 firms in the market today?
Amit Desai, Abad Ponda, Satish Maneshine, Shrikant Bhat, Shirish Gupte Niteen Pradhan, SV Marvadi, Girish Kulkarni, Shringarpurkar, Prakash Shetty, Raja Thakare, Avdhoot Chimalkar
Do you get opportunities being in a chamber where there already the son of the senior is practising?
Currently practising here at Allahabad hc, lucknow bench. My senior pays me nothing. Luckily, my mom is also a lawyer and she pays me 5000 per matter. And she gives me small cases. Still it's breathtaking to survive.
Sweetheart, welcome to the real world, nothing is fair, so fuckin deal with it. When I was an intern, there was no work from 5 pm to 9 pm. I stayed in office till 12 am cause work flows in post 10 pm from all quarters!
What rangel Collete replies -

She is addicted to giving rejections without even reviewing the application.

It's like getting an automatic rejection mail just after you send your application.
Hi,

Can I please get some examples of questions I can be asked at a technology law firm for the position of senior associate?

Thanks!
Hey, please tell which all firms take interns on cold emailing the HR, do tell the HR name and email too!
At least his/her mother didn't play pivotal role in placing him/her like in your case. So, stfu nepo kid.
Followed the exact same path. No regrets at all. Perfectly summed up. OP I stand by this comment.
shuffling happens quite often there, you can try your luck in delhi office they might be hiring
eg retire at 50 with 30 cr, at 60 with 20 cr, at 70 with 10 cr etc…

What’s the goal? I would love to leave the rat race and retire now itself, but being from a regular family I will probably have to keep working till 60 😭
if your budget is around 3000 don't bother yourself by ordering online, go to your local market and try finding some local brand that exclusively sells formal shoes, trust me they will last much more that the ones sold online.
does he even understand the concept of privacy still props to him for actually showing initiative and making students that their voices are being heard.
If you have some experience with these cases, you'd know BMS can claim a lot of mitigating circumstances.

Rich kids going to a concert isn't some matter of public interest.

There's also the fact PPL (on pure luck) did get tickets legitimately so lmao
Bhopal ke "better than US" waale roads, OP ka standard of living se bohot upar ho jayenge πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Not to mention, the Baabuon waala shahar title it has earned for itself.
Imagine talking to your recruiter about them hiring you because you will have better exit opportunities in your new role. Get off LI giving career advice when you're in your first year of law school.
Aur agaye debating committee kay log to make debate relevant
I have heard CAM Bangalore real estate teams makes the associates pay for it as well. Just CAM doing CAM things.
Stop the cap dude. SAs earn around 14 lpa and forget about your bonus. It is one of the worst firms in terms of pay scale. Go there, learn and leave asap.
This is clearly someone who didn’t make the cut to MIDS πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ It’s a super competitive course with tonnes of applications and only 35-40 spots.
That's what privilege is... access to anyplace and anyone in court.. doesn't have to be to the CJI only. You're so far up your privilege that you can't even see the plight of people who have non-litigation parents or relatives.
Do you really want to work for this firm? Have you considered other firms?
Deepak THM has also quit. Anyone left in Mumbai other than Nishant's team?
I mean there are other threads here on this. Yes they do hire freshers. But that hardly matters if they haven’t gotten back to you in more than a couple of weeks I would assume that’s that and move on. Posting on here trying to read the tea leaves isn’t gonna help you.
Why don't you do the work first of showing them that it is worth their time? This entitlement will get you nowhere. They also have heavy admin loads and problems of their own. Ideally the institution should make space for them to mentor instead of overloading them.
Clearly someone is still sad about failing AILET and wants to pass stupid generalised comments about NLUD. Highly insensitive to the personal issues faced by these 3 students. All of you would still give your right hands to get in, don’t forget that.
Bro works till 12 sometimes, I was gonna intern under him....but nah too long. Work is amazing tho
Correctly pointed out - none of the partners named have any presence outside KCO Delhi.
Nothing exceptional about Sneha - very average work and a random mix of Delhi HC, NCLT and domestic low key arbitration.
Akash is fantastic but the team only has domestic litigation. You can and should avoid working with Sneha and Saman.
As compared to KCO Mumbai’s strong presence in arbitration (Raj Kingshuk Chakrapani) - the Delhi arbitration scene is not even comparable.
and? what good did it do? they were there before the deaths as well, but as is the case in every govt institution- just for show
None of the juniors have been able to pull in the kind of matters Rishabh had - highly unlikely that they’ll be able to. Go for Shaneen Parikh for good arbitration work.
The only two places where someone with solid credentials from MIDS has landed in India were Khaitan and SAM. And for good reason, they’re the best teams in India by a huge margin!
Hey, can you provide those links or any material one can refer to? I'm interested in debating and this could be of great help.
Chill bro chill. F**k up associate level pe karna dimaag ka. Read on your laws and take courses online. Apne aap internship mai dil lagne lagega
Can someone shed a light on the tentative per appearance fees of counsels appearing in High Court of Bombay? As well as drafting and conference fees
Depends who says that and in what context but soometimes its just nostalgia and looking at the past with rose tinted glasses.
Could you tell me why are people in this sub so obsessed with firms? Those weaklings who are not man enough to practise turn to firms and help cronies get richer. Doesn't seem okay.
Start practising under one such DHC lawyer, there's nothing better than practise.
Because taht was quiet in some aspects not with respect to politics but regards to behaviour of people life was slow but not too slow technology amd culture was changing, economy started to boom
Are you guys serious, its about time to get new increments lol
Nagpur considering itself? Political center? Anyways a wise decision, fraternity would support back for any troubles at nagpur
Going to intern there for upcoming month, any input on work culture & practice ? What kind of works get alloted to intern? Stipend?

Any help would be dearly appreciated.

Thank you.
Students of NLUD trying to deflect the serious issues by blaming the families and their personal issues instead of the uni is just depressing.
Rest in peace.

What exactly is the university doing that 4 such young students have killed themselves in last few weeks? SHAME.
Good music. No woke culture. People were more tolerant. No internet meant that ppl actually SURFED instead of surfing....more social interactions. Life was simple, less complicated ... till the millennials came and everything went to shit.
could you let me know about the online spars/mocks? links would be great as well. thank you!
Bhai agar tu mereko udhar laga dega, even as an associate toh main tereko 2 MacBook Pro gift kar dega
I couldn't agree more. NLS faculty and students will happily dissociate themselves from all other NLUs if push comes to shove. A letter of support by the SBA of NLS is meaningless.
Plz tell me how did u applied, I'm really keen to intern there.
Why don't students from other law universities (non-NLUs) take part in forums or common statements? What's preventing them from doing so?
Getting at least 2-3 halfway decent people, start producing some research worth talking about etc.
So do ours, those who would like to have that evidence. Others are still doing fine in the legal world and don't really need to show a piece of paper to prove that they know law.
Very difficult. The curriculum doesn't provide as many subjects of the underlying discipline as to justify a BA/BSc degree. Maybe a bachelor of legal studies that will not allow you to practice law.
I don't see why one has to be better than the other, honestly. I think you and I agree on this. Both are equally worthy uses of a student's time.
So, just to confirm you are saying there's nothing wrong with me, and it's common for people to feel what I am feeling and you have been through the same?

But what about the job market? And securing a job afterwards?
NALSAR ne jeeb se poche lagwaye hai consistently NLS se, last kuch saal se
