We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.

3. Then consider everything and choose what does you wann do, not necessarily law firm. Try things
Crawford- CM, 10k stipend, good training. Pay for Lit is lesser than Corp (around 12 not sure)
ELP - Good for tax/ trade/ real estate-12.5k as stipend, intern for the remaining part of your final year till grad and hope to get absorbed as there is no fixed tenure. Not sure about the pay which I think is 10-12lpa.
DSK- Tough to get in, the last time i check the stipend was 7.5k, low possibility of conversion into placement except maybe the RE team.
LKS- Good for tax, mid for Corp- min. 4-6months, 20k stipend, may/may not get absorbed, depends of team requirement and performance, I think pay is 14+ bonus.
Litigation chambers actively take paralegals but yes you know the situation.

BTW, do read about the side effects, its a mile long
Further how are you even justifying mentioning pronouns by stating you study BA subjects or you have to work with NGOs?
Continue till you enter the legal field and be ashamed or laugh on this post when you reflect back
There is no comparable history or evidence of exclusion of gay lesbian and bisexual people from universities, schools, and jobs. If there are individual instances of harassment or discrimination based on sexual orientation then one can still sue that company in civil court. I would support a non discrimination law- but not a reservation one because of the lack of evidence.
hijras and kinnars and all the rest in indian parlance are also not excluded by society. The history is pretty clear, you can look up any article written before 2015 and youll see it. These are pseudo-religious communities/ cults that self-exclude and perform castrations on themselves and other children or destitute men as a religious practice. That they have jumped on the gender identity bandwagon and sought to rewrite their history for paltry benefit indicates that they have beens severely misled.
If they stop self-excluding and stop prostitution and beggary and make good choices there is no reason they cannot find decent employment. At the very least any demand for reservation must come after a census that counts these communities and we know how many of them there are, what jobs they get or do not get, and how far they get in school. Activist judges or overeager political parties should not do it without pushing for basic facts.
Intersex people are not excluded from education or employment. Many intersex people do not even know they are intersex until well past the age of puberty.I havent heard of any employer anywhere that requires you to undergo chromosomal karyotyping or blood tests on the basis of which they would exclude you anyway.
This is all much ado about nothing. If the congress party keeps pushing this nonsense instead of focussing on class, on workers and farmers, then the congress party will alienate the common man entirely.
"The time has come to reclaim our once great educational institutions from the radical Left, and we will do that. Our secret weapon will be the college accreditation system. It's called accreditation for a reason. The accreditors are supposed to ensure that schools are not ripping off students and taxpayers, but they have failed totally. When I return to the White House, I will fire the radical Left accreditors that have allowed our colleges to become dominated by Marxist Maniacs and lunatics. ... Remove all Marxist diversity, equity, and inclusion bureaucrats, offering options for accelerated at low-cost degrees, providing meaningful job placement and career services, and implementing college entrance and exit exams to prove that students are actually learning and getting their money's worth. Direct the Department of Justice to pursue federal civil rights cases against schools that continue to engage in racial discrimination."

Youβre clearly getting worked up by my comments since its calling out people like you. Maybe move to my βmale dominatedβ team and see how much easier life can actually be.
2. Following on from this, why don't you actually achieve something, before bullshitting?
I would highly appreciate it if someone who knows how the hiring process works explained it. Thank you!

Besides, considering the political leanings of most Rhodes Scholars. Cecil Rhodes ki aatma ko shaanti nahi milegi XD
Now, in my fourth year, I find I have no real interest in corporate law. I have a minor fascination with a niche area of law that offers lower pay and doesnβt attract recruiters on campus. Would it be damaging to my career if I chose not to participate in placements and took some time off instead to decide if I even want to continue with law?
"It's clear that Rhodes thought of the English as a "master race". (Source: BBC).
If the woke brigade on this platform cares to know about Rhodes. It is not without reason that he is a highly disliked person in Africa. https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-32131829
Knowing the character of NLU students, they'd celebrate as much should Germany institute an award honoring Adolf Hitler or Britain name an award after Reginald Dyer.

Please advise me on what rotation to take up for ending up in a well paying in-house as soon as possible.
I will try to make it through 2-3 or 5 years but my seniors whom I know are really good are struggling. I don't know if I can put these many years. So which teams are best for it. From my limited exposure I am thinking of M&A, PE-VC and Employment as good rotations for going in-house, with ending up in M&A at the end after 3 rotations. Is it a good idea? Should I try Banking and Finance considering in-house jobs in banks?
The 8% bill share in his team is going to make you one of the richest corporate lawyers in India
Thank you,
Yours truly,
