A student in the final year of 3 year LLB, vibha swaminathan, has won the rhodes scholarship this year. same program being trolled here constantly. goes to show you how reality differs from online delusions.
Serves the trolls from the five year programme right! That's how real winners make their statement, through their performance. Kudos to this girl and the rest of the three year cohort, along with the admin for keeping faith in them.
mad respect for her, its definiteky tougher to build a cv in a three year law programme as compared to a 5 year programme.
I mean she had 3 years of undergrad at LSR to do work as well. Sure not law work but I'm sure whatever she did definitely added a new dimension to her app
But those years didn't contribute to her law CV and to the narrative of her wanting to pursue further academic study in law. At most, anything from there would be window-dressing.
i know her bro and she is exactly what you don’t want her to be
love how you're taking this as a failing of the scholarship and oxford, rather than the character of commercial law and commercial lawyers :)
It must be really sad and depressing living in this right wing bubble you made for yourself.
Even today (77 years after Independence), NLS needs external validation for an internal decision, and that too with an award honoring a person who furthered colonial interests. This is reason enough for NLS to remain a state university in perpetuity.
Why don't you just admit that you failed CLAT at least three times?
When Sudhir himself lobbies, doesn't vindicate lol. But kudos and congratulations to her nevertheless, well deserved
Some confirmation would be appreciated (link to announcement from Rhodes Trust), but obviously, congratulations! This is fantastic! Just what we needed after years and years of toxic trolling from loads of people.
Whatever the standard is, the five year people aren't matching up to that either, since otherwise they would have cracked the Rhodes in the last eight years.
Lol! Why don't you just admit that your dad didn't love you?
You don't become important either. Which is what bugs you the most.
I am not in the least bugged! I don't even attend NLS (was too dumb to get in, as is 99% of the world). But my life isn't spent in a quest for validation, trying to pull it down.
I meant it for the other guy, the one having an itch about NLUs that he can't get scratched.
That is well said. The latest is NLS's seats-for-land episode. For merely 7 acres of land, NLS had to pawn their seats for more domicile reservations. What a joke NLUs have become.
anyone who knows her knows she is incredibly smart and humble–not the typical arrogant academic stereotype at all. very well-deserved.
Since you know her, can you tell me more about which branch of law she is interested in? Another human rights Rhodes scholar, or a Corp law one for a change?
Great news. NLSIU should start seven sections of this three year programme. The five year programme can be rolled back to a single section.
What is this word salad that is put together and decorated in a way that absolutely doesn't make sense?
Absolutely hilarious how the woke brigade will bend over backwards for a scholarship named after a person who was considered one of the biggest racists in history and a massive proponent of slavery.
Why doesn't the RSS start honouring excellent students of India by sponsoring their higher education? It can be purely desi then.
The woke will say anything to justify their hypocrisy and double standards. Just another example of why the whole leftist ideology is such a joke.
The right will say (and do) anything to ensure that India becomes the 2047 version of 1933 to 1945 Germany.
