look at the column on number of students opting for higher education, it just cant be trued that 46 students from one batch would go for LLM, either the data also includes prep for competitive exams or the authorities are submitting false information
Bhai. Tujhe gareebi rekha set karni chahiye. If lower-middle class goes to Dubai and Phuket, then I assume domestic travellers toh Below Poverty Line honge tere hisab se?
never knew lower middle class is making international trips to phuket and dubai
Are we talking about you, the OP, by any chance, and not a friend of yours or "someone from [your] batch"?
No. It's not a mark of respect. Respect would be too actually read the mandatory reading material, which noone does.
Hey, how did you get it extended? Like whats the process you followed cause i am on a 2 week stint rn and i would like to have it extended.
Ive seen one who self drives a creta. go figure. there are plenty of non designated counsels who are being driven in chauffeured mercs, with little or no aspiration for that gown. this should tell you everything you need to know about the times we live in.
"No one ignores oxbridge degree"
tell this to the district court judge who will throw away your bail petition in 5 minutes.
Bump - will it even exist in the future? Will bankers just hire a namesake lawyer for it??
Are you asking this from the perspective of an internship then getting a ppo or a lateral hiring
Is crawford bayley m&a good? What is the work like there? What is its standing compared to other firms in terms of work and pay? I am starting an internship soon and would like to know for some strategic decision making!
As long as interns give us what we looking for, we don't care how they have done it.

But for your own growth, it's bad to rely upon AI. Because AI won't help you during one on one interaction with senior/client.
NLS off to a decent start, Nujs best in terms of ppo count….and NLIU first two days no movement
Harvard is the easiest of the three by far. Choose depending on the future you want. They have different specialties but you can't really go wrong with any of the 3.
How did the day z go? What are the numbers at top t1s like NLSIU, NALSAR and NUJS?
If you won't wear something to an interview, then you shouldn't wear it to class. Teachers deserve at least the same respect as recruiters do.
Any associate or partner that can confirm what their preferences are with respect to the aforementioned.
The list is long but from what I can see irl and saw during my law school days, present CJI, SA Bobde and Ranjan Gogoi.

The bullshit of the Union Government of today and them getting away from it is insane.
Corporate team has left the firm. No substantial pratice remains. The firm is a sinking ship.
Money is not something you should expect or hope for if you wish to work at C&M
if you do a quick survey less than 5% of Indian LLM students stayed back in the US or the UK
i could not decide if there were indeed scams in phuket or SCAM in phuket, so had to come and find out which one, good title, doffs hat to the OP
LLM shall not help your career if you have no PQE, my suggestion would be to work in a law firm for a couple of years and then go for LLM at Oxbridge; it shall boost your career much more than doing LLM as a fresher
Let's just say some people now regret not studying hard enough and instead wasting time on social media and fighting culture wars. First, focus on grades and studies. Then join the cockroaches and chant whatever you want.
You can become a Professor in Jindal and chill once you have a foreign LLM
So you paid 30-40 L for your degree just to end up using a computers brain, what a waste of life!
How's Nandan Pendsey's team at AZB? How does it compare to Akhilesh's team (work, culture, attrition)? Also, are either of the teams hiring freshers right now?
It has, is, and will continue to be, entirely fucked. What Sir Humphrey Appleby, the civil servant character, says about education in the TV series 'Yes Prime Minister' is equally applicable to education in India: it is, and always has been, a joke.
KCO does team wise trips. BnF team went to Thailand recently
Mostly done to try and work there (which for select few works, but sanjeet from samosa university won't exactly make it so magic circle.
Why can't one do both? An intersectional take on company law, for example, which is also doctrinally grounded?
it has been forever, what is taking them so long, there has been no update from Linklaters asw
a fresh SA can easily, on worst days earn 1-2 lakhs per day now you can go figure
If money is not a concern, start off with a chamber. You'll get more volume and more variety of work there and you'll learn quicker. Firm may pay better amd have better matters but lack of volume will slow down your growth.
+++ what's the update on salaries? Sources say cam has increased its fresher pay.
Didn't get a ppo. Dayz prospects look mid. Day one's worse. Any seniors who has any advice, please tell what exactly to do at this stage. I have a decent cv but 0 connections.
Stick to Indian workwear with a dupatta it just makes it more formal. Also, hair plays a big role, see if you can blowdry it or style it.
Day Z reports of nalsar and nujs and what percentage of the batch who sat for placements got placed in t1 or equivalent
If you're from a Tier-1 NLU, a foreign LLM will not help. You will only 'lose' a year unless you genuinely want to have fun for a year. For those from lesser-rung NLUs, they're beneficial as it provides a leg-up.
sorry bro, thats a clear lie. No recruiting partner will ever say that even if thats true. They used to recruit a good number from NUJS and NLUJ on day zero. Saraf has always been a PPO-centric firm, so you can't expect them to give out 4-5 offers to one university on day z.
Do we know how many PPOs Saraf has released so far? What is the count in NLS, NUJS, NLUJ, NLIU, Nalsar, NLUO?
With so many now its a literal BOGO offer scene. Sr. to ban gaye par breifing nahin hai.
Disputes?? What a joke. The CAM disputes practice has been in the doldrums since inception. The Delhi disputes team is a complete circus.
Wait till the M&A and cap marks stars leave...nothing can survive under this Banyan Tree.
I'm trying to decide between NLU Odisha and RGNUL Patiala for my LL.M. Which one would you recommend, and why?
2023 grad: all included is between 24 and 30 (depending on bill share)
The M&A, cap marks and disputes practices are flourshing. People who want to leave are free to leave
Got to know from my peers at SLSP and some threads that this time, they are doing great because they started campus recruits early. What is the scene so far?

(Wanted to know how much firms are these firms hiring since day z at my NLU is next week)
Did you make it to any good law firm? I am currently working in a small law firm and have applied for immigration law team in EY gds. do you suggest joining this opportunity?
which partners are saying this? im a kannadiga from an nlu and very much unemployed still in bangalore
Are you talking about delhi or mumbai office? The above break-up of 1.15L per month is for Noida office specifically.
Aniket Singhania is very good to work with. He is knowledgeable, approachable and mentors the team well
I'm a law student and one of my friend's father has recently been designated as a Senior at the delhi HC so I was just curious as to how much he may be making.
Have worked with Madhur Agarwal. He is good. Have not worked with other junior counsels of these chambers
Does she do crypto although? Also, is she looking to expand her team??
Does azb pay varies across offices and teams? I have heard they pay significantly lesser amount for some teams like ipr (around 14LPA) but i dont know whether its actually true or not
Could someone share their experience of their team. Planning to apply for an internship there.
What type of a student should I be to get into Harvard, Yale or Stanford for an LLM? Also, are these programs easy to get into?
Is Bangalore a good city for tax practice? I'm aware of the firms, but what about chamber and in-house?

Is Bombay to Bangalore a good switch?
