However, in my personal experience, I haven't faced any sub-standard material being taught to me by these profs.
Nonetheless, my point still stands, if you search for what you need, you'll find it at JGLS.

As for IILUER, Jindal charges same fees and incurs greater expenses. They have bigger campus, better facilities and pays faculty a lot more. BCI isn't doing any of that in Goa. It's a sham place meant for squeezing money.
Or LLM sufficient?
Can someone tell how do i see if I've already clicked on a case law. Earlier the link used to be blue so i would know that i have already seen this case law. Now everything is red.
2. Pay
3. Growth aspects
4. Internship (virtual/ physical) and PPO policies
There’s no doubt that NLUs and other universities are better than Jindal right now but making such a generalised comment without considering the opportunities JGLS has to offer probably showcases how you’re not making the most of what’s available.
Don’t even get me started on our CLAIM and LEAD courses. If learning was the outcome that you’re basing this on, set aside credits and grades, what more do you want than to be taught commercial law by the likes of Partners who have 20+ years experience at firms like SAM, CAM, AZB, NDA, Khaitan etc.
With no malice at all, I sincerely advise you to sit in these courses and just reconsider what JGLS has to offer.

This event is organised by a handful of virtue signalling liberal arts professors with degrees from foreign universities no one has ever heard of. Their credibility is absolutely zero and are the kind of professors who would mark a student based on their political ideology and not the quality of the paper.
What’s worse? Yes, Jindal has a reputation of being a libbie echo chamber, but that ideology is largely spearheaded by a coterie of underperforming liberal faculty with no actual connection to the law and students with fledgling academic performance but a shit ton of daddy’s money.
The point of this comment is that most of what the liberal vomit that originates from JGU is from a handful of students and faculty. It isn’t representative of the thoughts that originate from a majority of the students, most of us are actually hardworking and aware of how privileged we are. The liberal agenda more often than not makes headlines and that offsets whatever progress students make on their own. Just a request to actually look at a student’s CV before writing him/her off as a privileged brat… some of us are, but most of us not.
Events like these are a sham and most of us do not support them unequivocally.
A1: May be 10-15k more
Additionally, please feel free to share any other crucial information that I may have overlooked but is essential to be aware of.
They have offered peace through out history- each time they have been rebuffed with prejudice and then a hamas sends in rockets to kill babies and keeps attacking them in these horrenduous ways.
Pretend for a minute youre interested in actually finding a solution to this problem and not in just virtue signalling- that you actually want peace for palestinians- what is your proposal to achieve that? that jews should just let themselves be killed?
If it's financially feasible for you, I would strongly recommend sending your war to one of the top National Law Universities. It can truly make a big difference in how they are perceived as a student (speaking from personal experience), especially when it comes to things like internships, particularly if they are planning to work in India.
But remember, in the grand scheme of things, the college you attend is not the be-all and end-all. Your ward's hard work and dedication are what will ultimately lead them to success. That being said, enrolling in a top NLU can definitely give them a valuable edge during their formative years.
Good luck.

A friend of mine interned there so I know that they pay their interns very well. Your stipend as an intern depends on the number of hours you have put into billable work. He earned somewhere around 20-25k for 1 month.
p.s. I am a woman and I have some money saved to struggle for few years
BTW, even Kejriwal is in the docks - summoned by ED.
Presenting at a good conference gives you things - first, networking, i.e. getting to know people in your discipline; and second, confidence to be a good public speaker. You can decide whether these enhance your CV or not.
If I wasn't getting paid, would I still do it ?
Because you're going to get paid in peanuts in the first 5 years of your career. That's law. It's passion, not paisa.

Narayana Murthy Doesn’t Know Working for Less Than 80 to 90 Hours A Week, Says Wife Sudha

Caveat emptor, etc. That said, good luck on your room mate hunt! :)
Further, this pseudonymous IP encryption key gets reset and thrown away every 24-48 hours, so even if we were really clever and really wanted to we couldn't deduce your actual IP from this after a day or two.
Of course, end of the day, you kind of have to trust us on this and despite our measures to safeguard your anonymity and using an encrypted https connection, it's theoretically probably possible for tracking at your ISP, law school, firm or Pegasus-spying or NSA level to deduce posts that you make.
In short, if you're really really really worried about this or you're leaking state secrets, probably don't use the internet, or if you are, use a VPN and/or Tor and other measures to protect your anonymity...
"Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement"
I wonder if theyll talk about that at all? or is at all gonna be illegal occupation, apartheid, lalala - none of which are factually true?
inb4 " so youre saying israel is always right" - no ofcourse not, but if you use nativist logic to justify the massacre of women and babies- rape and child murder- then not only are you just- awful- but youre also just wrong.
Israel as a state has existed for 70 something years. It already exists- to debate its existence now- existence not its policies- is antisemetic. Israel has offered a two state solution multiple times in modern history, it gave away the sinai peninsula to egypt to get peace- ehud barak and clinton worked together to give palestinians more land than they currently hold- much much more land- but the PLO refused because they didnt want a half a loaf of bread- they wanted the whole loaf. From the river to the sea means from the jordan river to the mediterranean sea. This is a religious fundamentalist movement. What happens to the only jewish country in the world if that goal is achieved? What happens to jews who live there? where do you propose they go? Europe where they were rounded up and sent to gas chambers? Maybe america where theyre subject to the violence of right and the left? australia where theyre chanting gas the jews? If they dont stay in the only land they have consistently called home throughout history- where should they go?
When you look at history- Hamas is clearly an organisation that is not interested in a two state solution- they have walked away without a counteroffer multiple times, they construct tunnels underneath hospitals and they use those tunnels to smuggle in weapons and not food. How many new schools has hamas built in the last five years? Where does Hamas' money go? There is constantly humanitarian aid going into Gaza- where does it all go? This is a religious war for these people and they are fundamentalists and they are terrorists.
There are actual facts in this situation- its not about turning a phrase around or saying "no u" . its not about clever wordplay. Educate yourself.
This is what article 7 of the hamas charter says : "The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews."
This is what you think is civil? This is what youre comparing to israel trying to protect civilian life while fighting an unprovoked attack on its citizens?
https://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp
Here is the hamas charter- Read it fully before you make a fool of yourself. Surely if youre right you shouldnt be scared by the information no?
I think the colonial stuff is honestly nonsense. Its our insecurity that makes us resent people who are successful in the world. An Oxbridge HYS/ Ivy education is more rigorous than what you find in any law school in this country and most universities. That is just true. Just reading scholarship that these students produce versus students with the same level of education in India- the difference is stark. It is not nice. And it doesnt mean people who study in india are less talented or capable inherently and can never improve or compete- it just means their education system has not served them well. I wish our education system was far better, but if we refuse to even concede to that obvious fact, if we refuse to recognise our own shortcomings, we really have no hope at all of improving things. Its not a colonial hangover to say- hey maybe some things are better in other parts of the world.
The one advantage NLUs will have over JGLS is just the number of students and the competition that you have to face. The crowd of students is (mostly) pretty impressive so your work ethics and quality will improve, but what is a better advantage is the fact that you could be as mediocre as it gets and you would still be fine. There would be maybe 100 kids in your entire batch out of which most would get placed, some even in firms abroad. but in a private college with around 600 kids in a batch, you will have to stand out and compete with a ton of people as compared to in a batch of 100 odd kids.
What are the PPO prospects?
At least 20 NLUs are useless and better shut down.
What rubbish! Atleast don't misguide children!
I like bespoke suits and hand or Goodyear welted shoes. I enjoy cheese, speciality coffee, and (Chinese / Japanese) tea (ie not chai), and, at one time, I liked drinking spirits (and the gins recommended as "good" gins are nothing more than beginner gins - I wouldn't try to look cool by ordering Bombay Sapphire; in fact my first boss kept BS in their house for people they didn't wish to entertain with good alcohol). I also love watching theatre and attending Indian and Western classical music concerts.
Not one of these activities / hobbies were undertaken so that I can "look" sophisticated before a client or any other person. My curiosity lead me to these hobbies and I they are for my own consumption. Not to impress anyone.
Let me say this again: one must aspire for sophistication of the mind, not copy acts which make you appear sophisticated. If I would ever want to drink Old Monk and Thumbs-up; I would not hesitate in the least. One would have to be quite insecure to be happy pretending for a third person who doesn't give a shit about you.
No matter how much you will earn; with this attitude, you will never have class - only a pretense of class.
You know you're cut out for law when you can truly enjoy the thrill of running from court to court and to get relief from your client. If you can truly enjoy the process of getting a relief for your client (let's say getting an anticipatory bail) and when can you truly just get up and fight the uncertainty which litigation brings.
I'm a third year law student who's doing a long term internship type with a firm and trust me I've fallen crazily for litigation to the point I don't mind sacrificing my college life cause I truly enjoy my work. Everyday in this field is a lesson and a new battle. Litigation might not be everyone's cup of tea and it's totally fine. But do consider these points before jumping into the corporate law firms bandwagon.
If you look around you, can you realistically say that the handful of persons working in your firm who have a foreign LLM benefitted from it. The answer is mostly no.
