It also seems that the former dictator served memos at will to many during his reign to cover up for his corruption. Doesn't seem worthwhile seeking reasons for the same from any of them.(Also being unsure of the specific 'he', seems like a waste of time).
And seems like nothing is more 'juicy' than the 'guns and girls' guy in the campus (and in some odd places at odd times).
Point 1: My family would eventually want to shift to Bom as my sister is on a top managerial position in a marketing company.
Point 2: I am a 23' grad.
Please give your little brother some insights. Lal Salam.
Have fun!
"Would transitional and transformative justice be considered as a topic under international law ? Under which area; IHL, LOAC or HR ? As a whole does post conflict studies come under international relations or international law ? Simply in an academic sense."
This is the first time I've heard of the term transitional justice. It sounds fancy, but do we have courses that deal with such topics ? Especially in top tier NLUs where faculty bring in their personal choice for selective courses. I researched further and found it part of post conflict studies. Apart from JNU I don't think any other institution provides this kind of topics. Is it true that our curriculum is outdated? People around the world are studying such interesting varied topics. Whereas we are stuck with traditional concepts . Is this the reason we are backwards in terms of research????
As far as friends are concerned, I found some of the best possible people who have stuck with me throughout the fuckery. I did get lucky with these people but I believe that anyone can find a spot in the Jindal crowd. You'll find your group, maybe not in your first semester but somewhere down the road.
I don't wanna be unemployed after graduation I.e in 2025.
Pls someone help me what should I do, everything is so blurry rn, no Godfather no refrence not much rich too can't depend on parents as an unemployed kid.
Ps- Have done 3 tier 1 internships and have some good publications.
I heard it is a rating system (Below Expectation, Meets Expectation and Above Expectation). But now we are told it is going to be a certain percentage of the maximum bonus payable; decided by some random rating metric.
P.S. I am not alone in having this perception.
What I can assure you is that writing posts here will not change anything one bit.
whereas under "SCALE OF PAY" an organisation's ceiling limit of expenditures given on particular employee at that grade i.e., how much an organisation would spent on particular employee of that grade which include salary (see 2023 advt not.)
You go & read the 2023 notification strictly (also read your shared photo/data) basic pay & scale of pay separately mentioned & written "at the minimum scale of Rs.1.49lpm". If goes by that than an IAS's scale of pay at fresher grade (post 7cpc) is above Rs. 2.5lpm, JAG goes for Rs.3lpm, ISRO scientists Rs.2.5 - Rs.3lpm & so on.
No idea about civil judges but sure that they have high scale of pay comparing with any govt. services in India currently as whose salaries are high, scale of pay automatically high.
So be practical & do small research, current in-hand (post deduction) pay of sebi freshers are max. Rs.60K - 62kpm, IAS in-hand pay currently is Rs.82K-90K whereas civil judges in-hand is Rs.96K - Rs.1.09lpm
1. Liberalisation of the legal profession hijacked by corrupt dynasts and crony capitalists/slave owners.
2. Even if liberalisation happens, we have no rule of law in India and our judicial system is among the worst on the world. Lawyers will prosper only when the judicial system is reformed.
3. Because of #2, Indian society glorifies STEM and looks down on lawyers
4. Flowing from #3, Indian corporates have a jugaad mentality where they are reluctant to pay legal fees and also hire rubbish in-house legal talent, which sets off a race to the bottom.
5. Linked to #4, oversupply of lawyers because corrupt BCI gave licenses to cowsheds and every state has an NLU, the vast majority being garbage and producing garbage.
6. Finally, socialist policies and mentality. Give everyone a law degree coz “equality”. Teach bullshit, irrelevant courses in law school coz “social justice”. Underfund law schools, charge low fees, pay faculty poorly and spend on populist subsidies instead coz “gareebi”.
IPO opens on 19th
Mindless Gen Z are gung ho over needless 4 weeks internship, where they do nothing but making reels.
Fees should be upwards 10k.
Why are you obsessed with mba.
Not everybody xan afford become a social activist without any job.
If you know the answer then answer only dont spread foolishness here.
Acceptance ratio in 3 year LLB (1800/120 = 1 in 15).
I was in the class, I know who you are. At least 4 people saw you writing this on LI. Shame.
How hard is it to say that instead of passing out passive-aggressive remarks? Unless the situation there is actually bad.
Role – Primarily relates to drafting of documents as such clientele's requirements, i.e., wills, lease deeds, legal advice, etc. You become their personal lawyer.
Pay – Quite high, although, i don't know the range.
Growth – Redundant, but, high potential for gaining access to high, privileged network.
Imp laws – I am not aware.

Add to that, no learning in the team and exclusionary work environment. All in all, not a good place to be.
That said, S&R is the gold standard in what it does so if you’re that sure or that indifferent about what your practice will be, S&R is by far the best place to be. It is also reasonably ahead of other firms in terms of pay, at least at a junior to mid level. In terms of consistency of quality across teams and levels, S&R is great because of its small size and selective hiring. There’s a lot of emphasis on quality which is difficult for a SAM/CAM/KCo to achieve because of the differences in size and volume. S&R overall is also a more professional firm.
My personal advice would be to choose SAM. 15-16 lakhs is not less money, and you can always make a move later. Don’t base career choices on one month internships. Best to cast the net wide early on.
Thoughts?
What is the average salaries paid by an AOR Firm or AOR Chamber in Delhi to freshers?
First of all even if Joe goes to London that does not cover up how he rudely talked to sadhguru and how sadhguru destroyed him.
NALSAR students should show some maturity and not defend everything for their ideology.
Joe literally pulled out victim card and started saying he is catholic. Maybe now many people are leftist so I can understand why people cannot digest different views and opinions.
s.44ADA says it will be deemed that the expenses have been for your profession and you need not maintain invoices for that -- it doesn't say it will be deemed that you have incurred the expenses. You need to have spent, the legal fiction comes in to assume that such expenses are legit.
