Average JGLS troll: No work to speak of except fantasizing and stereotyping. Being completely wrong in every aspect of life and every opinion.
If so many aspirants are getting adversely affected, then why isn't any of them going to the court?
Why do you want to move abroad? Will be a lot harder to make partner, plus you will hate to see 50% comp going to the taxman. Think hard before making any erratic decisions
OP probably missed NALSAR and couldnt convert AILET into NLUD so now they are having this thought.

Although I do support the merger. It won't happen until more people press on it.
bump, which SAs make the most at JSA now that IK and several have left and Karan joined
I'm not in T-1, but when hiring for my litigation chamber, I do check the person's LinkedIn & perform a Google search at the very least. If the person has problematic views (eg, misogynistic comments on posts), I skip them.
none of them other than NLUD are relevant enough for people to undertake a separate exam for them. CLAT is how they get their seats filled.
2-3 lakhs a month with a 10 year practice is extremely commedable, and absolutely rich in a regional non mumbai city Congratulations! You have made it!
Yes, they hired two associates from the December post.
The present post is a non law and more of a developer role.
Fake and false. You must be jealous of T1 advocates. You forget that they are there solely because of their merit and are the lawyers of the highest calibre. There is a reason why all listed companies and bigwigs approach a T1 and not some other random lawyer/chamber.
The same reason why non-AC third class passengers envy first class passengers, economy class plane passengers envy business class plane passengers, etc.
I am shocked that LI allowed such a misogynistic post. It seems if people from the Left do this, LI is fine with it.
Give your honest opinion on the increased difficulty and desperate attempt to make the paper pattern in line of clat.
Did you just forget to include Prof. Mustafa and people like Prof. Manwendra Tiwari?
The partners have stopped coming. Associates are running around trying to get a foot in other teams because HR is completely useless.
Lol whats the point in having a town hall when the townsfolk are leaving. Inka kuch nahin ho sakta.
What? The best reason for brown people to stop ragging other brown people in India is that white people abroad are expected to not be racist towards coloured people? I think someone can write a book on bad reasoning just by compiling the comments made on this website.
Exactly. Hence the older NLUs had to join the newer ones in an MOU to have CLAT.
Hi, I have an internship lined up within the next 2 months for AZB Delhi in the Litigation/Disputes team. How is VPS? I've heard plenty of negative things about AZB Disputes Bombay. Is Delhi the same? How are the seniors and work culture? PPO?
Haha LI wont let the truth get published about these seemingly privileged chambers.
PhD is the pathway to assistant professor. Even if you get selected via a LLM and NET, you will still need a PhD for promotion from assistant to associate professor. So better to complete it asap. Thus more emphasis on PhD here
Success ratio means completion. And drop out, for any reason is not success. So yes, the success ratio is only 50%<
Improve your comprehension. The op was replying to the 50% dropout rate which is true. Majority don't or never finish their PhDs. When selected , the candidates are usually 20-25 per session, only about 4-5 complete it.
A BHU is much bigger than an NLU for the general public and people in power. Lolz. Except for the top NLUs like NLS, NLUD, NALSAR, no one is bothered about NLUs. Why do you think people still apply in lakhs to DU, JNU or BHU ?
Name them, without searching. And tell me whether their last degree, i.e a PhD, is from an NLU or not. Because it won't be. Their UG is from NLU, not phd. Their PhD would be either from a foreign University or from a central university like IIT, IIM, BHU, JNU etc
kid, pls wait a while, so many 2026 graduates don't have jobs. PPO szn for 2027 batch is going on.

several firms will be hiring after 6-7 months for your batch, so stop panicking.
2018 NLS grad here - specialise in domestic violence and dowry death cases. I am currently working day and night on my own case so I am not earning money right now but I do have a big house, car.
i heard it was pretty bad for 2026. we're in for very dark times. vote for incompetent leaders, this is what you get.
TMC now does not even have the source of income to pay for their fees

Lol

So much so for calling someone a multi term CM or whatever

Not attacking her for defending MB

But perhaps doing it to get to RS along with others ifyk
Way lesser than a similarly placed equally successful

Person in litigation
A stupid senior of mine ig worked for some company fir a year and then again joined back the same college for masters. That was just sad. Masters in my college aint that good
If and when she joins the Congress party, it must be a unit down South or Delhi. After appearing in the RG Kar case, she has zero credibility in West Bengal. Congress workers in Bengal will fiercely oppose her entry in the Bengal unit.
"Gora" is most certainly a disparagement, deployed gratuitously and with obvious disdain. The Gujarati equivalent is deployed as a slur in the U.K., for instance. Frankly, your analysis is blinkered and false. A slur is a slur regardless of its political deployment.
Is the G word really the same though? Has the word historically been used to victimise, enslave or oppress the caucasian community anywhere in the world?
1 July for Trilegal as always

Delhi & Gurgaon both at Gurgaon

Fort & LP both at LP Office

Bangalore Office
which team and how did you go about the callback and do they ask or you?
Madam is sitting on matters, not passing any final orders, in the meantime enjoy all the foreign “ work trips”. Jai Modi Ji
Every NLU except the ones that had been set up before the SC judgement mandating CLAT literally can have separate exams. That's how law works. They choose not to.
Higher batch size doesn't mean better alumni network. Otherwise NLS with its puny earlier batches would have had a bad network. On the contrary, it's the best among all NLUs. Quality counts, not numbers.
People not finishing because they opt for better opportunities don't indicate lack of success.
Err...plenty of NLU alumni work at the IIMs and IITs where law is taught. As for BHU etc., why would they go to teach at those places with hopelessly outdated syllabus and practices and which no longer engages in even basic research?
A good course benefits all students, though many of the courses so offered by said faculty are anything but good. The question is why should the desperation be from the faculty's side rather than the students'? How does it benefit them?
T1 firms are correct in their risk assessment and never advise a client to act against the law. Please get your facts right. You must be dealing with a one off case
NLUJ '27 here. I'm hoping this is sarcasm, because our numbers are at par with NLS and NUJS as of now. The job market is truly looking bleak this year.
Hi I am facing similar issue, can anyone help me with some names of the seniors or advocates who practice in mix of everything and not restricted to one sort of practice area. I wish to get exposure to understand which area of law interests me
Thats because these clients are so stingy with fees, they would prefer a shitty opinion within 2 days for 10k rather than a proper specialised opinion for 50k in a week by a better person, serves them right.
Surely they are waiting for your validation. For what it’s worth, I see they are chambers, legal 500, benchmark, IBLJ, RSGI ranked. They seem to have fluffed the line.
bump, also out of delhi and mumbai which team does the most ICA
She’s great mentor and u will learn a lot. work is demanding but rewarding.
How are the people? Are they nice to work with to a fair extent?
Interesting to hear everyone's view on this. What is life like in these places? And anyone worked out a sweet spot where you only need to make the commute twice or thrice a week and can do WFH for the rest?
The right connects really do get you the right government panels. The entire practice of law is deeply infested with nepotism and favouritism, only the privileged are celebrated in this world.
> Ask plastic surgeon

It's not the same. Surgeon will do surgery for 3 hours but gets ancillary revenue when patient stays at hospital for next 7 days for observation, buys medicines, etc.

There is no such ancillary revenue for lawyers.
How is chugh universal legal (banglore) for Internship.is there any Stipend
What happened to the team after VD left last year? Who's heading the team now?
Monstrous attrition rate !! But not a bad option if you are looking to learn and pivot
I don't know about that, but such courses give a chance to break the monotony of a campus. I presume, since I don't teach at Jgls
just curious about what’s going on the floor, have the partners stopped coming or still transitioning? and who’s going to take over disputes and especially projects infra
Is it the end for SLS-P I heard from several seniors that even the college toppers didn't get placed, Would it be better to join JGLS?
can someone pls list some good tier2/boutique firms in ipr and data protection? if possible their fresher packages also. appreciate it thanks
hi, not op, but can you please guide me on how to get a callback? any tips
So far she has smartly kept her mouth shut about the results of the poll and whether the election had been 'stolen', which has been MB's claim duly supported by the likes of SG and some other TMC favs.
Can you please tell about fresher interviews as well? Especially how long it takes them to reach back after an interview?
Can someone please clarify if we can carry prinotuts of certain bare acts in the exam?
This is about the worst anti-ragging argument I have heard. There are much better reasons to stop ragging than 'gora people abroad don't do it so we shouldn't as well'
Nope. Majority are preparing for some sort of competitive exams and leave once it gets cleared. To the point that many universities are mulling over the fact whether they should impose a penalty on people who are taking a stipend and leave midway .
100%. I specialise in technology law, my LLM and my PhD thesis was in tech law. They gave me a environment law professor as advisor that doesn't even know the T of technology.
If your phd is genuinely done, even one chapter from your thesis can produce a good Scopus article.
If you can't even publish once in Scopus in your 5 years as a PhD, do you really deserve the degree ? I think it should be mandatory to atleast have one publication in Scopus.
But good private universities provide decent stipend even for non-net. Also if you're really interested in teaching/research, isn't it expected you publish in Scopus ? No one is saying it has to be Q1.
Saurabh's a great guy. super helpful to juniors. worked with him on a few matters. top notch. Even Sidhanth is exceptional. Bhakru is too full of himself and thinks he's already a senior
Interned with them in Bangalore in March. They have at least 11-12 active transactions active in a given month. Intense and good work. Great team. They also do a fair amount of SIAC arbitrations. Young team!
