Pvt uni that is not Jindal lmao, as if 90% of the people at Jindal aren't there just to burn 40L and go and sit at their dad's business/firm/chamber after
Too extreme lol, I learnt a lot which I couldn't learn at school through Khan Academy and Crash Course (Hank Green), I know a lot of IIT and NEET prep happens online too. Hell I cleared my law entrance thanks to a crash course by LegalEdge and now I have a PPO >20L
When Sudhir himself lobbies, doesn't vindicate lol. But kudos and congratulations to her nevertheless, well deserved
I mean she had 3 years of undergrad at LSR to do work as well. Sure not law work but I'm sure whatever she did definitely added a new dimension to her app
This comment is a deliberate attempt to misguide. There's absolutely no comparison between the two places. If you can't clear AILET and CLAT then only join CLC or LC at DU.
Thank you so much!

However i have lost out on my rank due to the reasons provided above and can only predict my predicament in the placements next semester. I dont want to live honestly, its really depressing. Nothing is working out for me
Even today (77 years after Independence), NLS needs external validation for an internal decision, and that too with an award honoring a person who furthered colonial interests. This is reason enough for NLS to remain a state university in perpetuity.
Hi, even I am looking for PG for dec in GK-1, could you please tell me recommend me as well. Thank you:)
I plan to move as soon as I wrap up 10th sem exams, which will be around may-early June, am already looking at a few leads as they come in from friends and family, but will do one big push in the 10th sem pre-exam break.
Have I got news for you? Ain't nobody gonna give you LOR for Rhodes!!
Some confirmation would be appreciated (link to announcement from Rhodes Trust), but obviously, congratulations! This is fantastic! Just what we needed after years and years of toxic trolling from loads of people.
Happy to hear that, if you are really starting or need some kind of.... feel free to mail at judiciaryvideos109@gmail.com. Only if, you feel so.

Else, wishing you all the very best for your journey :)
All students who applied for it from NLUD have been selected I've come to hear, which is wild. 5 or 6(?)/15 from a single college is most likely a record
Anjan's team never has vacancies. KCO, JSA and Trilegal are always hiring laterals in Projects so that might be your best bets.
Bangalore Transactions team always have vacancies unlike Mumbai and Delhi. Always to place to be if you are trying to grab a PPO.
Does a non-nlu, non-corporate fresher has any chance to secure a place in the team?
Yes! As does Cambridge, UCL, LSE, King's, Queen Mary... and most of the other good UK unis. Unis in Australia, NZ etc. also have them. No idea what the fuss is all about.
Ask for assessment internship in the domain of your choice. Convert it into fulltime. Push it through seniors from your insti, working in those organisations. They are more likely to appreciate your situation and help you.
Does that surprise you? That's the consequence of rampant politicisation by the TMC govt, rampant grade inflation and an overall dip in standards. It's become a tier 3 NLU in the eyes of everyone but its students and alumni.
perhaps apply as a law clerk to delhi hc , or whatever state you come from it will give you the requisite money and time to think about your future
mad respect for her, its definiteky tougher to build a cv in a three year law programme as compared to a 5 year programme.
Not sure but, imo, it purely would be driven by openings and your fitment. Unless you've screwed up in interview, you should be reconsidered in relevant opening if you fit the bill and someone remembers you/ your cv. Not applicable for freshers but only for experienced folks.
Serves the trolls from the five year programme right! That's how real winners make their statement, through their performance. Kudos to this girl and the rest of the three year cohort, along with the admin for keeping faith in them.
Do Tier 1 law firms teach drafting pleadings to their new associates?
Hopefully you are able to get some answers as I, too, am in a similar position
People who have successfully got jobs or assessment internships via cold-emailing, what is that ONE GREATEST tip you have, which, according to you, sealed your fate?
For 1st, 2nd & 3rd Year of Five Year Course and 1st Year of Three Year Course it is 12:15 PM - 4:30 PM.

For 4th & 5th Year of Five Year Course and 2nd & 3rd Year of Three Year Course it is 08:00 AM - 12:15 PM.
Mouri Ghosh is the most boring teacher ever. Requiring effort is one thing, but not communicating what is required, and showing blatant favouritism and bias towards those who sucks up are different.
So basically a general category guy from Karnataka who would have got CLAT merit list rank 120 and headed to Nalsar goes to NLSIU instead. And NLSIU gets many acres of land in return. Sounds like a great deal to me!
Recently a counsel in Trilegal Funds team moved to ICUL. From what I understand, Trilegal pays almost a crore to its counsels. Does this mean ICUL is matching Trilegal's salary at counsel / PA level?
Came back to this thread again. Has the situation improved after one year ? Anybody knows any good professors in IHL ??
QJ' team is fairly small and fulfill its A0 requirements through PPO hires each year. They do bring in a lot of lateral hires for A2s and above.
I have upcoming Khurana & Khurana Pune internship, should i leave or join? Reviews
He's mean but rewards well to those to are ready to give him bjs anytime. Heard that he behaves like a weirdo bi perv
Oh pleaseβ€” NLS is making research staff and PhD candidates teach core courses for BALLB. Please do not.
Focus on AILET first, you don't JOIN NLU D, you GET IN by being a national topper, let's have that first.
I am so curious about what could be the possible complaint here. Can you all think of situations that could have led to this?
LLM increases pay, once selected. Learn before you type moron.
Name a better website that gives you an introductory and basic overview of any topic ? Also, if you knew how to research, there are literally sources and citations in the page, you can cross check the information. Stop being a wuss.
people usually consider salary a criteria while switching. Remember if it gives your more mental peace then your previous one. Then its always worth it.
Avoid NLUD. Left their PhD program cause they couldn't provide hostels nor research facilities for us. Moreover half the batch was ex-NLUD. Talk about academic in breeding.
For someone who can't afford NLUs, DUs are a much better choice and will definitely help with all year round internships. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon like you, stop being an elitist out of touch scum bag.
How many advocates , seniors and judges are from NLUD? Stop overhying these state run money making institutions that only producing corporate clerks.
Avirup and Anjan are gems in the industry. Both run a tight ship where people dont leave with very good work!
Unless you have a JRF. NLUs are not worth PhD with no stipend and zero pay. You'll have to teach and then join NLU for research. Otherwise Jindal and TISS are better if you can throw money around.
How's the Hyderabad office of Kochar and Co ? Volume of work ? Exposure ? Culture ?
What happens after the online technical round? Is there further shortlisting of candidates?
Alright, which journal is it then!? Surely, you have more balls than this? Afraid to put your own name to your criticisms? Disgraceful, shocking level of entitlement.
Exactly, but I do it (i) only when threads relating to NLSIU/Sudhir come up; and (ii) only to call out bullshit, not to engage in the propagation of it. The latter is, on the superficial level, a much more enjoyable task, because it is like getting high.
Tanvi Chandgude from our college got into it. Totally agree with the sweat shop part.
Trilegal has just now closed their hirings across almost all practices for 2025 batch. They haven’t started hiring for BO 2026 yet afaik. Do an internship with them before day zeros happen at major nlus and you have a shot.
A student in the final year of 3 year LLB, vibha swaminathan, has won the rhodes scholarship this year. same program being trolled here constantly. goes to show you how reality differs from online delusions.
Completely unconstitutional… All of us have been using social media since that age and we have all turned out just fine… we are students of top law schools… Just coz some kid commits suicide or something doesn’t mean you will ban it for all!
pay is bad compared to other offices, its not much more than a tcs employee who earns 35k a month in chennai, you earn 40k here.
Could you elaborate on the internship process and how the culture is? Will be interning soon pls help
Please use this thread to report PPOs received by BO26. Afaik, NUJS BO26 just got its first T1 PPO from Trilegal.
Your advice is interesting and quite refreshing really. I think this is something that I can try. This is the first time I have come across such advice. Thank you so much for your time spent in reading this thread and sharing this unusual advice. :)
Keep dreaming in la la la land. I hope you quit and then find out the tough way how bad the employment situation is. Then you'd cry for thinking the grass is greener on the other side.
Thank you for your positive response. Apparently, my current team is considered the best among a difficult group. I will start actively looking for new roles, preferably outside of law firms. I don't think i am meant for this.
Anjan at DSK has a solid practice, but a super lean team- so check that out?

HSA has a good projects practice too- but you know how their pay is and if they pay you that is.
Oh, saying no? Yeah, that's cute, like that's actually allowed. Doesn’t matter if it’s work or coffee, it’s yes every time, no exceptions.
Oh my god, NLSIU should be renamed "National Disingenuous School of India University".
I got all my 3 tier 1 internships through cold emailing.

I got all my jobs offers through cold emailing except the one right after college.
It's a good idea! You will have an assured income every month. You will also develop links with advocates in the places of your posting. These links will help if you decide to practice in the HC.
Yes yes, do much money that they are even acquiring Trilegal now..
Akshay Malhotra - TT&A, Delhi (Ex - KCO, Delhi). Extremely underrated guy with good work.
Heard that CMS has offered so much money that the Indus EC is planning to poach Manan, Avik, Manish & Anindya back.
Depends on the mentor you are given. I was assigned to Mr. Pushkar Reddy and loved the work and the culture.
I am sure you're not wrong, but at NLS, most professors are not stupid. They don't care for or fall for cheap tricks like sycophancy, especially not the newer and better profs. Put in effort, and to at least some extent, it'll be rewarded.
Hey, did you receive any email? I had applied but not revert back till now. Please let me know.
Hey, let me know if you are looking out for a Girls-PG. I have a recommendation where I am staying currently in Greater Kailash-1.
