Number one 'National' law school, folks! In a completely different league from all other 'state NLUs'! Lol, what heartburn must all the trolls here beating the NLS drum be going through now.
Now let us wait for the day when the Karnataka Govt. insists on compulsorily adopting Kannada as the medium of instruction in NLS.
It is also amply clear that the CJI (as he demits office) will never intervene, which many trolls keep trumpeting about. CJIs don't intervene in matters of state universities - they have much better things to do.
Will NUJS follow suit? Twin campuses in Asansol and Siliguri?
Sudhir finally has a competitor when it comes to arguing without logic.
Agreed. Any VC with an iota of self-respect would have resigned in protest?
Any NLS student defending NLS is like a chicken defending KFC.

We now have a seats-for-land VC.
Read the comments if you don't know. NLS has been claiming not to be like other NLUs but still had to accept domicile reservation. If you stop acting snooty, then you don't have to face trolling when it's made clear that you are not different from any other state NLU.
Was thinking of joining NLS for PhD. TISS now looks better.
Unless you have a JRF. NLUs are not worth PhD with no stipend and zero pay. You'll have to teach and then join NLU for research. Otherwise Jindal and TISS are better if you can throw money around.
Wrong info. Several NLUs offer URFs these days to PhD candidates that pay just as well as JRFs. And guides are much better compared to TLCs.
Oh pleaseβ€” NLS is making research staff and PhD candidates teach core courses for BALLB. Please do not.
only 10 additional seats (50 overall) for 7 acres of land is a steal
This is a masterstroke by Sudhir. Lots of land in exchange for a handful of students who would anyway have made it to other good NLUs on pure merit and got good law firm jobs.
So basically a general category guy from Karnataka who would have got CLAT merit list rank 120 and headed to Nalsar goes to NLSIU instead. And NLSIU gets many acres of land in return. Sounds like a great deal to me!
Thereby leaving behind a general category guy from outside Karnataka who has scored higher in CLAT, who would now go elsewhere. Overall, NLSIU's loss.
