2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

How are things at "Howard of the East"?
Very less and selective hiring throughout.
As you have been preparing for competitive exams. This will definitely help u to get into a good college
. And your choice to prepare for UPSE was not a waste of time.

Off late I have been hearing Case Mine is very good and in fact better than SCC and Manu. Any experienced lawyers tried it? Whats your view?
For BNS/IPC and others, most new criminal manuals have a comparative table. Make use of it.
Last year, there were some placements. This year as of now, the situation looks dim. Hope everything goes well by the end.
Thought of leaving this for all those who feel struck: there is a way out. You have a choice.
Prefer to finish everything at office
Or is it restricted to students only ?
Wish you the best!
My research and intuition indicate that TMT is going to boom considering the recently released regulations and the potential for ever increasing data privacy concerns in various fields of data mapping. Moreover, it is also evident to me that new technology regulations, say, for bitcoin, AI will always fall within its ambit. Again, I am also confident that M&A is an evergreen practice area which has a scope that's also vast.
My long-term plans are to shift to in-house post 6-7 years under my belt. Alternatively, I wish to join a foreign law firm. Kindly advice!

Secondly, NFSU is already very well known so does not need PR on this platform, irrespective of whether this platform accepts it or not. NFSU does not need LI for awareness and visibility, and downvotes here do not matter at all.
Leave office around 5. Continue till 10/10:30 on most days.

NFSU is in very good company, counted as prestigious among the very best (AIIMS and IIM). States are scrambling to bring NFSU to their respective states with various incentives. This is in addition to the central funding the university receives.
Do you think they won't try to verify? Do you seriously think they don't ask for recommendation letters? What is wrong with you? If you spread lies, can you at least please spread logical ones?
I am at a chamber where there is nobody else besides me. No other juniors. Yep, that's great. No peons, no stenos, no one to run around, either. Okay, fine. The individual engages independent filing clerks.
What I do at these Chambers?
Draft end to end; including any supporting applications. Great.
Take dictation if any, and type it out. Fine.
Get matters adjourned.
Seek circulation ONLY when praecipe is to be dropped. The Hon'ble Court mandates actual mentioning? I am NOT to be seen anywhere in the Court well. In all seriousness.
Run around, not enjoyable- but hey, part of the game.
Get objections removed. Again, a headache, but has to be done.
And seek adjournments.
And sit OUT of client meetings. Why? Because "clients", whose matters I'd be drafting eventually, desire "privacy" and "confidentiality". News flash: they don't care.
Did I mention I take adjournments? Even in matters I have drafted, because cLiEnT iS nOt oKaY wItH iT. Again, the clients legit don't care.
I am not to file my VP. Not even joint. Chuck, I am not even to be in the court-well when the matter is going to be worked out. Even when I have contributed to preparation of the brief. Naturally, joint appearances in orders are out of question.
I am NOT to touch the briefs once the matter is filed. EVER.
I get matters adjourned. So much so, that now I have earned a 'face value'. The Courts no longer have to wait to pass adjournment orders. Such is my aura, that once I'm seen anywhere close to the Court-well, the Hon’ble Judge(s) concerned, pass a stand over order without even waiting for me to utter a word.
Yay! I developed a niche so early! Woo-hoo!
I this business - sorry- 'profession' is utter bollocks.
I'm sucking it up right now , till I am able to crack an MBA entrance, and get into a good college.
Should i just prepare my CV and recent matters that I have worked on?
WHERE ARE YOUUUU??
The salary is around 6LPA
What are the Biggest Mistakes Students make while preparing for the Judiciary that I should look out for?
BNS or IPC? How to navigate between new and old laws?
Alternate Exams to keep an eye on?

Any Personal learnings that you would like to share with a younger brother?
Thanks and Regards.
I'm a first year student who has not had the most ideal law school experience and now I've messed it up even more. Recently, a few seniors interviewed me after I volunteered for a certain role and it was a disaster. I wasn't selected even though I was literally the best fit for it.
I thought about it and realized that I hate speaking about myself or my achievements - I am too humble for my own good. I've always believed that it's not you but your work that should speak for itself. But here's the problem, if people haven't seen your work, they'll only know about you if you market yourself.
My batchmates know that I'm brilliant and excel at whatever I do but my seniors probably now think that I'm an incompetent, bumbling fool who doesn't know how to mark citations lol. People clearly less competent than me have been selected for the role, simply because they have the gift of the tongue and know how to market themselves! I realize that this will be a bigger issue in the future if I don't correct it now; I'll mess up interviews for internships and jobs.
Closeout: How do I overcome this? I will be extremely grateful if you could take a few minutes of your time and give some tips, based on your experiences. Also, how do I do damage control on my reputation among seniors and improve on my conversational skills! I suck at conversations and coming up with banger sentences.
