Decent work but bad work culture, good if you plan to switch to a tier 1 after couple of years, many people including me made the move from SPN. Pay is good
Culture in boutiques and chambers is always bad. They're personal family fiefdoms where others get treated like servants. They're not meant to have low attrition rates. They're just placeholders for people to eventually move to T2s or T1s
Any other such firms from where you can switch to a T1-T2 swiftly?
This is a boutique firm handling corporate and litigation work. They don’t have major clients, just some startup’s etc. Mostly the work will be of labour compliance and contract once in a while. Won’t recommend for a long gig but internship is cool.
They have some good clients thanks to the family CA firm
Highly doubtful. They get low end DD work and some paper pusher work.
There were around 6 associates who joined and left the firm within a span of 7-8 months. You seem intelligent man, figure out the culture through the above statement.
Too many inside people. Outsiders are not respected.
