Hi, thanks so much for replying. Do you know for certain if W&C, S&M don't consider law schools in India (without giving away too much, even reputed ones?)
How recent did you hear this? Until last year, one single interview used to take place with the partner under whom you've worked and the other neutral. Type of questions and duration?
Hey what about the investment funds practice? How is the hiring like and at what location? 26 batch here
What a silly response. You do know that the only way blind people can read is if that is enabled?
Other options but for name sake funds will be DSK, ELP, Bharucha, SAM. CAM and NDA are past their prime. Career suicide - no one in NDA with experience to mentor. CAM hardly got much work to do. BLC is upcoming in this space. Can consider
Yes it’s a choice between these three. The market knows that there is nothing left at nda now in terms of funds. Hardly anyone with experience in funds left to do the work. Tri KCO IC have the best clientele and work to do.
If your stakes aren't high you don't need a big shot. Just go to a boutique firm and they'll cater to your needs
Depends who the partner is and what's the structure like. In all likelihood there is a chance of traineeship if you play your cards right. Be close to the partner.
Can you please share what kind of questions were asked in each round of interview?
Someone please answer this, what’s happening at the competition team
How is the work culture at Majmudar & Partners? what is the salary offered for freshers? (batch of 2026)
How is the work culture at Majmudar & Partners and what is the salary for freshers 2025?
But don't they charge 3 Lakh, and considering that they are a bit old too, it really confuses me. Whether to choose ANIL KHANNA or Rahul's or Ambition.
Seem like you are an aspirant. Kindly help me out.
bro be in top 5% of the batch, you'll get internships and placement- anything bellow top 10%, life is risky whether internships or placements
Hi, I am in a very similar position currently. I dont know if you still use this portal but it will be great help if i could reach out to you about this and speak..
If you are thinking of quitting within 3 months of starting, then you may not be suited for litigation. Takes longer sometimes to just serve summons, or to get a petition listed.
I joined a chamber of an advocate who senior by experience, but not by designation. He handled mostly trial court cases. The office had hundreds of cases but not a lot of junior lawyers working there. So I had to/got to do more work and learn quicker.
Can somebody tell me about this firm? It's founded by Amit Singhania (ex equity partners of SAM) in Jan 2024. Heard they are doing good deals.
Typical Legally India. Half the people are honest, half love a world where people tell them the beautiful fantasies they want to hear.
The college doesn't really help. However, SLS-P has a fantastic alumni base across T-1 law firms. Apply to them directly through LinkedIn and try. While you're at SLS-P, try to get their internship / placement cells running, so that they tap their alumni network better
I also talked with some students currently studying in rgsoipl, they have confirmed it that there is no placement for LLM. So folks who think they can get placement after doing LLM should really reconsider taking admission in rgsoipl.
could please tell, whether there's a interview round for every preference selected after the assessment 2?
Join a coaching ASAP as either way its gonna help (even if you opt for litigation later on). Complete your syllabus and start giving exams.
Does anyone know how he and his team is? WLB? What kind of work does he do ?
What is happening in srl, 3-4 joinees of batch of 2024 have left/fired. what is happening any clue? why would someone leave in 5-6 months, given that its their first job?
Hi- any idea which Partner is easy to work with in KCO Noida corporate team? Planning to apply there and heard mixed views. Thanks in advance.
Policy could work. It is very research-oriented and is mostly voluntary social interactions to learn more.
Just some inspiration: Don’t worry there is even a new prof at NLSIU who took a 2 year gap.
Hello, I got internships with IndusLaw (Disputes) and ICUL (PE/VC), both in Chennai. Which one should I choose? How is the culture, pay, PPO chances etc.
Someone advice on law firms with a good funds team to join as an A1 too
Which are the firms which offer this practice area? Understand that it is fairly concentrated between Trilegal, K Co and ICUL, and NDA is not very active in the space anymore. Are there any options beyond these?
Agree - it's even more brain dead than IPO-Capital Markets practice. Avoid even if you are paid well.
depends on how old you are, married? Kid? parents dependent? etc etc
Please tell me the fresher's pay at wadhwa law for A0 after assessment internship.
Mujhe bhi yeh naukri karni hai. Date toh main change kar hi loonga..
They are CAs, which is infinitely more difficult than being a lawyer. Any Tom, Dick or Harry can become a lawyer
I graduated in 2024 and opted for a clerkship, considering the current market conditions and the unemployment scene in our profession. If I don’t secure a job by then, I might consider renewing my contract. I have Tier 1 internships in both Corporate and Litigation.
No, but a corp lawyer who isnt adept in strategising AI is certainly in danger of competition.
wtf, bro just A&O, Links and HSF have extablished programs, do not even think of applying to others who consider Oxbridge/ US Law schools.
In terms of practice areas and expertise? Hell yeah.

In terms of pay for employees? NO
Open coaching for UPSC aspirants. Sorry to say, but that knowledge you acquired will be the most valuable in the coaching industry only. Other professions/jobs couldn't care less about your UPSC syllabus.
17k in starting
bro/sis this is a very good start in lit, Give at least 3-4 yrs time then you will only get to know whether the lit cupcake is for you or not.
Seems like a nice place to work. Let me know if there are any openings.
How is their Bangalore office and scope of ppo and salary structure ?
I’ve heard from my seniors who used to work there as an intern she told me that the amount of work was good there it's a great place to learn also on google reviews they said the same also firm culture is not toxic and it is hardcore litigation firm that's what she said
There’s a big myth that if you’re doin Cap marks you become a master of stock markets and know which stocks to invest into. That is not how the capital markets team work
As a matter of fact, manupatra literally provides OCR copy of their judgments even if the judgment is quite old. SCC does provide ocr judgments but only judgments from 2022 ish
Good teams in Tri ggn? Nikhil Sachdeva’s team? Upasana rao’s team? Thanks
Can somebody rationally explain what is the problem with pointing this out?
No they are not β€˜lawyers’, just because they have scammed a 3 year degree from Jai Mata Di College of Law, affiliated to Inshallah University, Ghaziabad.
so i entered into this field without having any thought about my future now i am stressing out . I am in my final year of law college. have done 3 litigation internship . no experience of corporate law . and i am fairly certain i wanna prepare for judiciary . any advice ?
Go only if you are from NLU Jodhpur, the whole team is that
I think you should do an mba. I know a lot of people who completely turned their life around at tier 1 business schools after a couple of failed upsc attempts
Nothing will deter them unless you start bullying them back. There was one such a**hole in my batch as well. Now life is bullying him..
2 IPOs from kickoff to listing. But this would be tough, so 4-5 IPO filings with 2-3 other transactions like QIP, Bonds issue, rights issue, etc.
Kid how old are you? Well, doesn't matter because if you can access LI you can search what insider trading is.
What are the questions to be expected in an interview, Got to know that there are 2 rounds of interview. The one is taken by your partner and the other from any other team.
I got internship in SAM Mumbai for upcoming month and have been told the preference would be asked in the induction meeting. My interest areas is Capital Markets, wanted to know that whether Nikhil's Team is hiring for 2025? Or if any other suggestions.
I have no idea what the funds team does. Can anyone please help me out and explain me like I am a newbie? I want to do an internship in funds. Please
Thank you so much. Could Gen Corp or data protection be an option for a PPO in mind? I have no experience in funds or the capital market:(
What is happening a 3L competition team, could someone please answer
