in order to write about such a procedurally heavy subject
Students still are developing their basics, wrong to expect scholarship from them.
Academics, unfortunately are prevented by our weird UGC rules which bars them from actual practice, thus rendering the perspective slightly unidirectional.
As an earlier commentator said, practitioners have no tine to write.
Doesn't make it right. No one asked why did they ask the question. The entire point was that it should be about equality or are you saying it is justified that Law as a career is closed off to females who want to marry?

Firstly thank you for taking time to read this post. So, I've been planning to quit my job at the company. It's shitty. And I can't keep up with their ship. Initially when I was offered the job, HR agreed for 16 LPA and after few days she called and said they can't give me that and can only offer less. It's just a minor increase from my previous work place. I had to take it coz of commitments at home and I didn't have enough time apply for a new job and wait for long. So I took it. But the company is shitty and I want to quit now. The notice period is 3 months. I want to take this time to prep and get a significantly better one. But before quitting I want to know if they can fire me during notice period.
> This is what mentioned in the agreement:
> 3.1During the period of your employment, ***** has all the rights to terminate employment at
> any point of time with or without prior notice or disclosing the reason for termination.
> 3.2 You shall serve notice (written or email only) to ***** 90 days prior to termination of
> employment with ****. Your release will be governed by the relevant policies in force at that
> point in time, subject to satisfactory handing over of duties, responsibilities, Company
> documents, Company assets, etc.
I've seen them sending away people immediately when they resign if they don't have any dependencies. But I want to leave only after serving my notice period. So I want to know if they can terminate me during notice period legally. If I decide to serve the notice period, what can they do to send me off? I want to be on this safety net until I crack a new job and I think 3 months is good enough. What can I do here? Please help me out.
Thank you again.
In any case she is a Hindu so her speech cannot be Hinduphobic. Just like a Muslim cannot commit Islamophobia

*I want to know about firms that will actually aid my understanding of IPR and not just CV value. *How is the current pay for freshers at IP firms?
*Any other advise regarding IP law is also welcomed :)
Quite a few names in this list actually.
Reach out to a few resources in these teams and get a sense.
Begs the question on whether this also applies to white collar professions and encourages legal, white collar immigration: including NLU grads who do LLMs and MBAs abroad. π€
Compare current VC and faculty with those in old days. A massive deterioration in standards. Canβt be compared with NLS now.

After that it really depends on your appraisal and performance but you get the drift
- Most associates donβt save a lot of money as living in Mumbai is extremely expensive. So question of living an βextravagant lifestyleβ doesnβt arise.
-Salaried Partners make enough for a trip or two here and there and maybe buy a house in the suburbs.
-Only after becoming an equity partner and spending a couple of years as that can you afford swanky houses in Bombay, club memberships, luxury cars.
So next time you think about a lavish lifestyle while working in T1, wait for 20-25 years after graduating from law school.

Calm down and explain the situation of yours in a very polite manner I agree with everything which you have explained.Let them understand the value of being educated in a national university and their opportunities.Dont raise your voice against them whatever they say is for our own good they think everything in a preventive manner our generation will think after the problem has raised so let's not disappoint them and our feelings too....Although it will take some time to understand , n have patience in you sister....now I'm aspiring to crack clat 2026 studying my 11th grade n I too hope this situation doesn't occur to me as a girl π wish me good luck any how just be you πβ¨οΈ
Law firm jobs offer good salary, but they ruin your life(no work life balance) and in litigation you earn very less initially and the other avenues seem not so good.
Mobility in law is almost non existent(you can't move abroad as easily as tech),so what even the point of studying law?(Other than a liking for law and passion)
Can someone give me some positives?:β ,β -β )
Wouldn't I have been better off pretty much doing anything else?
So I am in currently in class 12th with commerce and this year's CLAT as you all know was shit and nothing can be made of it other than experience atleast for me, so Should I also take class 12th again in humanities from NIOS and then give CUET with Humanities subjects as my core? And If I get a BA from Hindu college or any other DU college after doing all this would it be worth it as after BA I would also like to pursue 3year LLb(can I do it simultaneously with BA?). I want to try UPSC and JUDICIARY both as my future employment aspects. Please do share your valuable experiences and advices.
On an average, as SA, it should be at 150-200 to make annual requirements to be considered excellent at that point
