Everything is a facade here.
You'll surely regret.
Very honestly, I have the best of both the worlds. Since, he was at one point a part of the fraternity, its easier for me to explain and tell him what I do in a day, he understands how transactions take place, how drafts get negotiated, counsels get briefed, the functioning of the High Court, how orders are passed, how hectic it gets at times, etc.
On the flip side, since he's ventured out of law into business, he brings in a fresh breathe of air into my life. As a person, he's the most easy going chill

B) Scope & opportunities are now better in Judicial Service after the craze for this service touching sky. LO's promotion scope is quite limited & depend upon department/org. policy where as promotion scope & policy is uniform in Judicial Service throughout nation.
Conclusion - Dono ke liye apply kar do agr Dono nikal jaye to J.S ko preference dena
Where do you live?
The University is known for it's mooting culture yet as per the new policy, students will get only once chance every year to appear for a 70 marks end-sem exam. Unlike, earlier students won't have the privilege for taking exemption exams and prepare for moots. Mooting culture will be on a toll due to this policy.
I know the city isn't known for its competitive compensation packages, but I am trying to see which firms fare better than the rest.
Thanks!
Quality and amount of work may depend month wise - usually moderate.
Pay scale is really low - just enough to pay rent and utility bills.
Please don't be sarcastic, I'm new to this and seeking advice for internships. Thanks

Be careful with fad diets and intermittent fasting, etc - I experimented with these without professional guidance and experienced a whole different set of unanticipated issues.
Highest ranked university in Asia is NUS Singapore (#9). China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan also do well.

2. Do such relationships get affected by the toxic political climate?
3. Which relationship is more common: Hindu boy-Muslim girl, Hindu girl-Muslim boy, or Hindu queer-Muslim queer?
4. Is there parental resistance?
5. Is there also some negativity/ridicule from batchmates?
6. In a nutshell, I am asking if:
A) Gen Z Hindu-Muslim dating has become more liberal and visible than Gen X and Y, or if things have stayed the same, or if we have actually regressed.
B) Whether โeducatedโ elite Indians are just as bigoted as โuneducatedโ villagers.
I don't blame them. Symbi has already been declared to be better than NALSAR. Savitabai better than GNLU. So obviously these colleges will swear by NIRF and obviously it boils down to low self esteem. The truth is your individual mettle matters more than any ranking. You can become the best while coming from a low ranked college. And if NIRF has established anything it is that its rankings are a sham.
If any idea about delhi office then great
Legasis Partners had a full fledged corp team in Pune but it recently moved to LegaLogic. Legasis is trying to set up a Litigation team in Pune, and may be a good opportunity to start. Desai & Dewanji recently opened in Pune. AZB has an office in pune but the work culture is awful. StratJuris is also a prominent small law firm in pune and may hire freshers.
Heard from a friend that nalsar is doing well.
Nujs maintains its consistency
GNLU is sluggish in bringing PPOs this year
Ahmedabad is a dry state, so they should only host matches featuring Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. No other teams.
Simply cutting out sugar and junk food will help you so much, not only with your weight and how you look, but the inside of your body as well. A calorie deficit is also integral for weight loss, you do not need to starve, just eat healthy and do rigorous exercise (jogging is the best).
As for Sudhirโs experience at NUJS, he had given an interview to the NUJS student newsletter arrogantly saying that he never heard of NUJS and joined only because of MP Singh. He was also an unpopular teacher for various reasons.
Under Indian tax law, 50% of a lawyer's professional receipts (income) are assumed to have been spent on professional expenses such as junior's fee, clerk's salary, travelling expenses, etc. Therefore, you are liable to pay tax only on 50% of your income although, strictly speaking, this is not legal if you are working in a law firm as a salaried person and therefore have zero professional expenses. Law contains this loophole as this provision assures tax collection on at least 50% of the income without wastage of anyone's time and energy!
Law also permits professional expenses to be over 50% but for that your accounts need to be certified as having been "audited" by a chartered accountant who, by using "creative accounting" techniques, can increase the professional expenses way beyond 50%!

Please check our faculties before commenting anything about education.
Also, Placements is not a metric which you use to gauge quality legal education. I can give you a huge list of institutions that Excel at research and publication but don't get enough placements.
Education is about the people you interact with in the university and what you learn out of the interaction.
Infrastructure can only facilitate the interaction, rest remains up to the students.
Also, Infrastructure should be boasted of too. There are aspirants who prefer better infrastructure and facilities over anything.
MNLU Nagpur is an infrastructural Marvel. And this needs to be well known.
The Institution being a NLU in itself is a mark of quality legal education. All NLUs offer the best education you can get in Law.
Again I can give you a list of institutions with great placements and no trace of even regular lectures.
Please don't be prejudiced. It's so myopic of you if you feel good thinking that MNLU Nagpur has a library which is short of quality books to read. We are NLU because we are rich in resources in the first place.
The 5% success rate of CLAT itself shows quality legal education.
Agreed, people don't go for reading manuscripts in museum, the fact that we are th first institution to have the first museum of its kind needs attention.
The last three Rhodes scholars from nalsar were women. Be honest- this is an anonymous forum where thereโs no point to lying at all - without a google search - could you even name them ?could you tell me what they work on? How about the first female president of the student body council ? That is the sort of thing that should create a myth right ? Can you tell me one fact about her other than her name ? ( because you can look that up )?
Not your option itโs the scholarship committees. Iโve known Rhodes and Fulbright scholars - they usually have a lot more going for them than that.
- intense control on diet - no wheat, potatoes, besan, maze, junk. Replaced sugar with khandsaari, wheat with jowar, Oats, rice, singhada atta. I had not reduced how much I ate but only what I ate. Increased consumption of fruits a lot in the morning
- timing of eating - breakfast before 9:30, lunch between 12:30 and 1:30, dinner before 7
- yoga 5 days a week for 45 minutes
Also in most nlus, there isn't that much difference between the highest package and the median package which is why nlus can't brag abt 1 crore packages and all.
However in the long run, Law definitely pays better since it values experience unlike the IT sector. The avg partner makes much more than an avg engineer after 10yrs from graduation.
And what 30 years? Most of the nlus haven't even been around for 39 years. Perhaps when you talk about "NLUs" you're really just talking about NLS. And may I point out to you that NLS hasn't even released placements stats since the pandemic began.
Kid, take some advice: Mr. Pathak was a very reputable name back in his day. Given its payscale, it used to be among our first few choices back in the first half of 2010s.
Today, that firm has not had any major wins in a long time โ look at news portals, they only ever mention them when they lose matters for Amazon. They've lost a lot of clientele, and Mr. Pathak has turned from a charismatic leader to someone who people wouldn't recognise, unless they're specifically an old timer in competition law.
None of the firm's other partners have really ever made their name in anything much yet - their street cred isn't great, and they're not highly ranked anywhere either. This is not to take away from the fact that some genuinely nice & brilliant people work there, but merely acknowledge that firms that are solely governed by an old person not in their prime โ are not a safe bet for starting your career. If Rajiv Luthra's demise has hurt a T1 firm that badly, you should practically imagine the risks that come with joining here.
