RMLNLU Lucknow students called off their protest yesterday after they were assured in writing of various kinds of meetings and inquiries to look into the law school’s allegedly poor infrastructure, and that the law school's deputy registrar and joint registrar will have restricted access to campus pending an inquiry into sexual harassment allegations against the both of them.

RMLNLU Lucknow students have been sitting out in large numbers since Monday in protest against alleged administrative apathy. They have vowed to continue protests until the resignation of the law school’s joint registrar and deputy registrar for alleged sexual harassment of female students, and until the administration meets a list of five other demands.

RTI response: The computer says no

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2015 expert panel, which was formed twice to examine alleged errors in the CLAT 2015 question papers, was composed of secret members. CLAT 2015 convenor RMLNLU Lucknow rejected a right to information (RTI) request for the names of the members of the panel which had dismissed allegations that one-fifth of the CLAT 2015 LLB paper was error-ridden.
